The Untruths, How old are The Boys? Missing Toddlers California City, Bakersfield California Orrin and Orson, Classic and Cincere

Facts about the boys:

a timeline of their childhoods, so far

These are the original Photos released. The reward was offered by local merchants and businesses

You Do The Math!

These two photos below, are probably the most recent photos available , the photos are undated, and  a bit of a mystery to me, the family was not forthcoming with dated photos, this  what I consider to be fairly pertinent information, considering you may want people to be on the look out for your two missing baby boys and so they need accurate photos of the boys to identify them. Or people will be seeing them everywhere.

In my opinion this is a big red flag. It has been for many but I was never able to unpacked why it was or could be an issue until now. I hate math, I think in patterns and recognize patterns easily and quickly, the issue with that is, you're not always immediately able to name or label a pattern when you recognize it's presence, it needs to persist, like a serial killer, leaving marks on the wall. Those are my math skills, the symbols and order of operations of doing the math and calling them all by name are not my best....I don't shine there just sayin'

For myself, I needed to unpack all the information, like a kindergarten teacher so I could bring light to a time line of when they went missing. And a strangely persistent pattern.

They told us that the boys were Three and Four years old.
For a three and four year old six months, three months, two months, is a huge amount of time for a really significant, appearance changing, growth spurt. We measure toddler hood in months for a reason, months are significant!

It had been 5 and 6 months since the boys' birthdays.
The boys would have been, and appeared to be, closer to 4 and 5 years old, than 3 and 4 years old and they would have looked like it too.

I did a little facebook poll, the consensus was that Orrin looks like he is almost 5 years old in this photo. People were a little divided on Orson's age but 3 out of four said he is probably close to 3 1/2

Orrin west: DOB Aug 4, 2016

August 2017 he turned 1

August of 2018 he turned 2

August of 2019 he turned 3

he was 4 in August of 2020

he will be 5 in August, 2021

Orson West: DOB June 11 2017

June 11 2018 he turned 1

June 2019 he turned 2

He turned 3 in June of 2020

he will be 4 in June of 2021

I haven't been able to find an exact date for the above photos, if anyone knows, please let me know. I know they are not from late 2019, and they came as undated / updated photos for posters and flyers

These are the first photos released to the public for identifying the boys, they are from the Fall of 2019. The photo of the baby is captioned. Thanksgiving By The Numbers 2019
And that is definitely NOT the face of a 3 year old
And Orrin's face in the photo is not the face of a 4 year old.
Who doesn't take pictures of their growing children for a whole year?

the reward money has gone up quite a bit but the photos are still at least a year old.

These are the first photos given to the public, by their Uncle. The one of Orson, the baby is definitely from November 2019, it is captioned Thanksgiving By the numbers

1- mom

1- dad

1-grandmother

1- stepfather

2- brothers

6- nephews

3- aunts

17- cousins

5- days

2- states

2- cities

The first foster mother, said she had the boys for a year. She also said:

the birth mother lost custody of them when the baby was 11 days old, the older child was already in foster care while she was pregnant.

from the news and family statements, the older boy had been injured while he was in the care of a friend or family, while the mother was at work and she took him to the hospital and Dr.'s are required to report anything that looks like child abuse.

So they ended up in foster care, the boys did not go missing while in her care though and we're not going to cross examine her, she is not the last person to see them.

It has been stated that while the boys were in foster care the birth mother and the father had supervised visits,  and according to the foster mother, "...had built a bond with one another, and it seems like it added more fuel to the fire."

CPS removed the boys from her home in April of 2018 and they were placed with the Wests. While being fostered by the Wests the birth mother (and possibly the father) was allowed supervised visitation, she still had parental rights, and could ask about their care and suggest unmet needs etc. She said they seemed to be hungry, loosing weight, sad, and they needed their hair cared for. Her instincts told her something wasn't right

Orson was taken 11 days after birth and placed in foster care along with his brother, and they were in the first foster home for most of 1 year,

So I would approximate the above photos were taken sometime between June of 2017 (DOB)  and  December of 2017

This photo shown below, of Orrin / Cincere, and Santa is definitely from Dec.
He's not 4 months old here, and his mother was not allowed to see him in December, 2018, and the foster parents (the Wests) were not allowed to post photos  of the boys to social media until after April of 2019.  So the photo has to be from Dec 2017

These are approximations, not exact dates. None of the photos on the internet seem to have dates on them

In April of 2018, Orson / Classic, would be  10 months old. That's  when the Wests got them, probably not quite walking on his own yet.

And Orrin would have been

16 months old in April of 2018

24 months old in August of 2018

(his baby brother was (how many months?)  premature and was kept in NICU for some time) Birthdates are confirmed so that is where there would be a little  discrepancy.

By Dec 2018 he was 2 years and 4 months

From a report by KGET.com 's Perla Shaheen

The last time Dean(the birth mother) saw her boys was at the end of 2018. That year, 34-year-old Trezell West and 31-year-old Jacqueline West became the boys’ foster parents. The Wests, then living in Bakersfield, adopted them in 2019, and renamed them Orrin and Orson West. The West family already had four other kids, two biological and two adopted. They moved to California City the next year, and, on December 21st – 2020.

https://www.kget.com/news/local-news/100-days-missing-what-weve-learned-since-orrin-and-orson-west-disappeared/

The last time the biological mother was allowed to see them was before Dec 2018 , she says that in 2018 she was denied a request to give them Christmas presents. Prior to that, from her statement, she had been allowed supervised visitation of the boys, between April and December, while they were in the care of the Wests until late 2018.

They were fostered for approximately a year with Jacqueline and Trezell, before being adopted in

April 2019 that would make them , almost 2 and almost 3 years old

At the time of their adoption

In April of 2019

Orrin / Cincere was 2 years and 8 months old

Orrin / Cincere, between 2 years and 3 years old

Orson / Classic was 1 year and 10 months old

Note: Foster parents are not allowed to post images of foster children to social media, so the photo below would have to have been taken after, April 2019

Orrin next to adoptive grandfather Phillip West, Orrin would be almost 3, and Orson in the high chair, almost 2

Orrin looks very protective of his baby brother, he's already learned the only thing, the only person, who is really his, the only constant, is his baby brother. At this time they were not named Orrin and Orson, they were named Classic and Cincere, names given them by their birth parents. Their names were changed in 2019 when they were adopted. How do you change a child's name after calling them by their birth name for a year, were they not confused enough by that time? Were they so dehumanized and objectified from the beginning of their relationship with the Wests? Their autonomy was destroyed by these people with this act  when they took "ownership" of them would they ever be able to create boundaries for themselves?

again I don't have a date for the above photo from my own knowledge of children, and tons of little boys have been under my wings,  they look to be about 3 and 2 years old, and in 2019 that would have been their ages.

ABC, National news says it is an undated photo, and yet refers to them as 3 and 4 years old, this "news" came out

Feb 6, 2021  at that time they were, 3 years and 8 months, and 4 years and 7 months old.  Almost 4 and 5

The news report was a result of an official statement from the extended adoptive family and only because the extended adoptive family, were angry that people were angry at them, showing up at their home and leaving comments on line asking what the heck is going on here!?

I see diapers, most kids are potty trained by 18 months or earlier, some later lot's of parents continue to carry a diaper bag for just in case accidents happen, and something to drink, a little snack, some wet wipes for sticky little hands and faces. They are dressed warmly, they began to foster the boys by April 2018, is it cold in Bakersfield in April?  When does it begin to get cold?

In April of 2018 when the boys were first put in the care of the Wests, they would have been

Orrin,  1 year and 8 months old

and

Orson,  8 months old

What I'm trying to make sense of here is the timeline. The boys would have been almost 4 and almost 5 when they were reported missing. and no one other than the immediate family has seen them neighbors, and even the grandmother slipped up and said there were no new photos because the family had not been together due to covid

So the Uncle Jamal Watkins, half brother of Trezell West began a personal damage control campaign from Washington DC to distance himself and the rest of the family from his brother's troubles

https://findourboys2021.medium.com/find-our-missing-boys-orrin-and-orson-west-official-west-family-statement-3c753a565fa

and made an appearance on Good Morning America and stated:

"It is misguided to blame uncles and aunts and grandparents for children who are missing that we love and care about and are trying to find," Watkins said.

Concerned  people were outraged at the the adoptive parents. Less than a week after being reported missing the police suspected foul play and had served several search warrants, and had questioned the parents multiple times as well. The police stated that neighbors said they had not seen any children at the house ever.  He later retracted that statement and said that one neighbor had reported seeing children but could not identify which children they had seen or whose they were.

And the investigation, had nothing to go on.

It was obvious they were lying about something and the birth family and the internet youtube, true crime sleuths were determined to find out what.  Knowing they had lied in their interview, knowing the photos were old and should be updated to most recent. By January 4th a recording from a CCTV camera at the neighbor's house with a perfect view of the back yard had been shown, and everyone knew they had not searched for the boys for more than a few minutes, that they had not searched the back yard at all, that the boys were not seen in the back yard anywhere near the gate, that the adoptive mother had not searched at all, that the fields next to the house were not searched, the neighbors were not alerted, no doors knocked on. And the timeline Trezell provided in his interview which actually seemed to "match" his actions seen on CCTV was a poorly rehearsed show for the CCTV cameras,  to establish an alibi and prove parental duty of care.

In tort law, a duty of care is a legal obligation which is imposed on an individual, requiring adherence to a standard of reasonable care while performing any acts that could foreseeably harm others. It is the first element that must be established to proceed with an action in negligence.

The Tort Duty of Parents to Protect Minor Children

Does the

parent, upon learning of the crisis, have a duty to exercise reasonable care

to avert the harm or render assistance by reason of the parent-child

relationship?

The extended adoptive family's strange behavior added more fuel to the fire,  refusing to address the public in any way, putting their arms out the door to take pictures, or setting up a camera on a tripod next to the fence to record the encounters when biological family members stood in protest outside their house demanding answers.

Calling the police on groups of people, claiming they were being threatened, and talking in circles, when asked about the boys. They refused to search for the boys,  did not seem to be truly concerned about the boys! they were more concerned with their reputations and their privacy, Where are the boys miss Wanda?

Wanda was talking to the bystanders, and her son tries too drag her away, she stood her ground so he went inside to get the camera and tripod.

The adoptive father and Mother had moved back to Bakersfield, and at least Trezell was living in the his parent's home there were rumors about the couple's relationship being in trouble

The above photos were taken by a freelance reporter / investigator. As Trezell and his father return home from a stroll through the neighborhood with Trezell's  dog

Is this normal behavior for a family who has just  lost 2 young boys and claim to have no idea of their whereabouts? They don't come outside for prayer vigils, or to help search for their boys. They act like they are in a battle for their lives, and not the lives of 2 innocent children.
