that remind her of other things

the cognitive dissonance might sound like

It's a photo taken from Kingsport (elevation 1211 ft),

which is almost 30 miles away from

Rogersville (elevation 1312 ft),

of

the mountain known as Chimneytop, which is directly behind

where they live/lived/ in

Rogersville ( 3 miles as a crow flys /9 minute drive), possibly to indicate the actual bigness of it, with an elevation 4700+

feet w/1400 ft rise,

it is pretty high for that area?

Not quite like seeing

Mnt Rainier(in Washington, elevation 14,000+ ft) from Portland OR,

or Grandfather Mountain (elev 5900+ ft) in NC (elevation avg 3000+

ft,

from NE TN avg elevation 2400 + ft.

and become landmarks, and weather predictors.
