Oh Michigan! and Georgia, Tennessee.. Ohio! What is going on?

There is a new(not really new at all) "type" of victimology, and all it is, is vulnerable/w opportunity presented, it's the new purse snatching! and a new (also not new) type of criminology, need money, have a connection, and have a certain ability, and some people are really honed in on the predatory ability part. And sometimes they work in pairs, or groups.

“It is the fastest-growing underground criminal activity on the globe and second only to drug trafficking, and it will surpass it in the next five years,” ... “This is not a problem that happens in other states and other communities. It is statistically occurring in your neighborhood and in your community.”

For example:
Lets just look at one state:

 Georgia

Human Trafficking Hotline Statistics:

cases from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018, accurate as of July 25, 2019.

The data in this report represents signals and cases from January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2018 and is accurate as of July 25, 2019.

Cases of trafficking may be ongoing or new information may revealed to the National Hotline over time. Consequently, statistics may be subject to change as new information emerges.

the stings:

an article from 2017

https://www.forsythnews.com/local/crime-courts/the-business-of-buying-our-children-child-sex-trafficking-north-of-the-atlanta-perimeter/

FORSYTH COUNTY – The offer came through via text at 5 p.m.: $120 for 15 minutes of sex with the barely legal girl from the online ad. After 15 minutes without a response, he texted again. $150.

That’s way more than what you normally get for 15 minutes, said the women behind the computer. Normal, she said, is $50, though she has seen it as high as $250.

The ad was for a fake girl. It was created by the woman behind the computer, Whitney Bexley, for an undercover research and outreach operation called Transaction Intercept. The goal: to deter men from buying sex with young women who, sometimes to the men’s knowledge and sometimes not, are often children.

The ad offered sex with a girl in Forsyth County, and while there was no girl being sold this time, the caller was real.

He was one of 67 men who called or texted during a 15-hour period, inquiring about one of two ads posted by Bexley, director of strategic initiatives for Street Grace, a faith-based nonprofit committed to ending the demand for child sex trafficking.

The Forsyth County News observed the operation, during which volunteers informed the men that their number was now recorded in a database and offered links to sex addiction and trauma therapy resources.

“We’ll post ads in

Norcross,

Duluth,

Lawrenceville,

Johns Creek area,

Alpharetta …

Cumming, the

Forsyth area,” Bexley said.

“Every time we have callers.”

Map of the areas mentioned above, click to enlarge

The rush in calls comes between 2 and 6 p.m. The time, one undercover volunteer said during the operation, they can set a meeting up while “they’re not sitting at home next to their wife.”

Those callers, had they completed the act, would have had something in common with a majority of the men paying for sex with children in the Atlanta area they live outside of the Interstate-285 perimeter,  according to Street Grace and a 2010 study by The Shapiro Group.

[In] 2005 is when … we all believed it was the airport area. That these weren’t our men that were buying, [that] they were flying in, doing their business and leaving, and they were all sold around the airport,” Bexley said.

The study found that happening, but only about 9 percent of the time.

“Then the next thing was, ‘Well, it must be in the city. It’s the urban center, it’s seedy, it’s dangerous, huge. Millions of people down there,’” she said. “And we found out again, yes, that’s true, but it’s about 26 percent of the time.

“The vast majority of the demand65 percent of the demand — comes from outside of the perimeter, and 42 percent of the 65 comes from north of the perimeter, particularly from that 75-85 corridor.

“And that was the most shocking thing to some folks because they were like, ‘Wait. That’s our churchgoing folks. That’s our ball team people, you know, and what it comes down to is that’s where the disposable income is.”

THE FACE OF SEX TRAFFICKING IS NOT WHAT YOU THINK

Street Grace estimates as many as 400 girls are trafficked in Georgia every month.

Trafficking has a different face now — it is less of the traditional snatch-and-grab scenario.

“And often times, the ones who are buying are not the Boogeyman. They’re not all pedophiles either, which is really interesting. They are people who have disposable incomes, and they are looking to have sex and they don’t care who they’re having sex with.”

“It is the fastest-growing underground criminal activity on the globe and second only to drug trafficking, and it will surpass it in the next five years,” ... “This is not a problem that happens in other states and other communities. It is statistically occurring in your neighborhood and in your community.”

CHAMBLEE, Ga. — A 1-year-old boy is safe at home and two suspects are in police custody following a brazen daylight kidnapping at gunpoint, Georgia authorities confirmed.

According to a news release from the Chamblee Police Department, Mateo Mantufar-Barrera was being pushed in his stroller by his mother Saturday afternoon near their Chamblee, Georgia, apartment when an Acura SUV pulled up next to them.

A man then got out of the vehicle, approached Mateo’s mother, pointed a gun at her hip and looked inside the stroller. When the assailant tried to grab Mateo, the mother was able to gain control of the gun and attempted to shoot the man, but the gun failed to fire, the release stated.

According to police, a second suspect then exited the vehicle, grabbed Mateo and got back into the SUV, but not before the mother was able to grab a piece of the first suspect’s shorts and one of his shoes.

Both suspects were apprehended several hours later in Carrollton, Georgia, about 60 miles from Chamblee, CNN reported.

WSB-TV identified the suspects as Maynor Dario Valera Zuniga and Kristin Nicole Valera Zuniga, but no motive in the kidnapping has been released. The pair face kidnapping, aggravated assault and battery charges, according to DeKalb County jail records.

The mother went to the Georgia Welcome Center in Haralson County to meet someone and get her son, sheriff’s officials said. When she did not have enough money for the final payment, the smuggler took the child back.

The mother called 911 and made a report.

At that point, an Amber Alert was issued for 16-year-old Darlin David Hernandez Zuniga. The Amber Alert said that the teen was abducted and last seen at the Haralson County welcome center on Interstate 20.

The teen was believed to be traveling in a gray 2011 Toyota Sienna with a Georgia license plate. The alert said that the van was driven by a Hispanic male with a female in the passenger’s seat.

The incident below is a true puzzlement, as in what the ever lovin' WHAT!!?? Something smells funny

Update: Hamilton Co. Sheriff's Office: "No evidence" of child abduction in East Brainerd

by WTVC, Isaiah Kim-Martinez

Tuesday, February 2nd 2021
HAMILTON COUNTY, Tenn. —

UPDATE (Friday, Feb. 5th, 2021):

On Friday, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office (HCSO) announced that investigators have concluded there was "no evidence" a child was in fact abducted in East Brainerd on Monday.

UPDATE (Wednesday, Feb. 10th):

The Hamilton County Sheriff's Department tells us that after conferring with the Hamilton County District Attorney's office, there will be no charges filed against the boy.

The original Report/Story from Feb 1, 2021

... a 10-year-old boy claimed a man threw him into the trunk of a vehicle while he was checking the mail at his grandparents' house on Windrose Circle, a gated community.

He told his mother he was able to escape by pulling a lever to open the trunk, and then he ran away.

In a statement, Chief Deputy Austin Garrett said after a lengthy investigation that included a review of digital evidence and video and numerous interviews, they found no evidence to support the kidnapping claims, and they determined the incident to be "unfounded."

Chief Deputy Garrett also answered a question regarding why an AMBER Alert was not issued in the incident. He said at the time they took the report, the boy was at home and unharmed, and thus did not warrant an AMBER Alert or an Endangered Child Alert as determined by the TBI.

"Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Austin Garrett is offering the following update to the community regarding the February 1, 2021, reported kidnapping that occurred at Windrose Circle.

The most important issue in this investigation was the child’s safety. As the child was located safely, our investigative efforts shifted to identifying a suspect based on the information reported. The HCSO takes all reported incidents involving the abduction of a child seriously until the facts of the case can be proven otherwise.

And a few months later, and a few hours south, In Georgia!:

Let us not forget that in July 1979 until May 1981, for 2 years or more there were 28 - 30 victims of the Atlanta Child Killer, Wayne Williams who maintains his innocence even today.

He was only convicted and sentenced for 2 murders which were 2 adult men, and yet he is carrying the official/unofficial  "guilty verdict" of the 28 children who were also killed during the same time frame. An average of  one child every 3 weeks? (I am not a math-er)

The youngest of those children was 6 years old, officially listed as 7, I believe because it took so long to find her body, most of them were young boys but there were also a few girls as well.  All of them were African American children (the 2 men were also African American)

The murders of the 28 children were never solved

https://www.ajc.com/news/atlanta-news/map-the-atlanta-child-murders/KO24BPVSEFCHJLQ36BREKKOHM4/

and their parents are still waiting for real justice and demanding further investigation into the case.

Williams maintains his story that the children were taken by an organization which he refuses to name, in an effort to start a race war. In his interviews he is very evasive about what he thinks really happened to the children but he does maintain that he was just the available scapegoat and he never killed anyone.

Some rumors suggest it was The KKK that wanted to start a race war.

and others think it was a child sex trafficking/ pornography ring, and Wayne Williams who was a nobody, "record producer" with a real recording studio, was a recruiter of victims. He was known to frequent places like malls, where children were, and he would pass out business cards because he said he was looking for "the next Michael Jackson". He held quite a few "casting calls" with young African American boys from the underprivileged areas, around Atlanta hoping to become a star.

Of note: the FBI was not called in to help until there were 21 young victims tragically lost to this monster or monsters.

One child who managed to escape, said that he was approached by 2 men, not one.

Most of the kidnappings were seemingly random opportunities, children were snatched or lured off the streets, into cars.

In 1982, Wayne Williams was convicted of killing two adults, but police linked him to the deaths of over 20 Atlanta children and teens from 1979-81. This map details various locations associated with the Atlanta Child Murders in and around the metro area.

One thing that stuck in my head looking into another mysterious cold case, one of the convicted, said if there's one thing Pedo's enjoy it's the company of others with like minds. I learned this looking into a big child Porn ring,  on an island in Michigan, in the early 1970's, North Fox Island camp for young boys.

https://crimejunkiepodcast.com/conspiracy-north-fox-island-the-oakland-county-child-killer-part-1/

the original Epstein Island owned by a different rich guy before Jeffrey's voice cracked and his Adam's apple presented itself.

IN THE 60S AND 70S, A CHILD PORNOGRAPHY RING WAS FOUND OPERATING ON NORTH FOX ISLAND. THE PROPRIETOR,
FRANCIS SHELDEN, USED HIS POSITION IN A LARGE SOCIAL PROGRAM CALLED THE BROTHER PAUL'S CHILDREN'S MISSION AS WELL AS THE YMCA TO FLY CHILDREN TO HIS ISLAND.

Francis Shelden was a rich aristocrat who traveled avidly and enjoyed flying. He was the grandson of a war hero and former governor of the state of Michigan. In other words, Francis Shelden was a well connected man within the state of Michigan, operating multiple businesses throughout the state (primarily out of the Charlevoix region). Francis Shelden also had an alternate world, one surrounded by pedophilia and high crime.

North Fox Island was simply one location within a massive web of perversion that spread the continental United States, and had traces across the globe. The location itself was set up with the help of

Adam Starchild (real name Malcolm McConahy, who by all accounts should have been wanted on numerous charges PREDATING even North Fox Island, including the transfer of preteen to young teen boys to New York for pedophilic purposes) who was a criminal mastermind known as being virtually untouchable in the way he handled money. Adam Starchild was the guy who found out how to exploit things as legally as possible, or at the very least, the creator of so much red tape it would take decades to sort out which end was what.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Starchild

Adam Aristotle Starchild, born Malcolm Willis McConahy, (20 September 1946 – 22 September 2006) was a financial consultant, convicted fraudster, key figure in the "perpetual traveler" movement, and prolific author of books relating to investment, taxation, and the "offshore" world.

Between February and July 1965, McConahy was an assistant scout master with Troop 27 in Minneapolis, a troop sponsored by Plymouth Congregational Church of that city, but was suspended after admitting homosexual interest in boys in the troop. Scouting records state that his personal and family church relationship was with Joyce Methodist Church. At the time he was operating a travel business in Minneapolis.[2]

In July 1965, McConahy was arrested in Wisconsin for circulating pornographic material. He was travelling to New York to take up residence there and was in the company of four boys to whom he had given money.[2]

In 1966, he moved to Milwaukee where he applied in February to be a college reserve scouter. His application stated that he was studying at Blackstone School of Law, to graduate in December 1968. The application was rejected by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America who were aware of his scouting background in Minneapolis.[2] In 1967 he was convicted of possessing obscene literature and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. In 1968 he was arrested for his involvement with a 16-year-old.[4]

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Starchild

Malcolm McConahy, of 325 Maple St., was killed in an auto accident in Minneapolis, Minn. while visiting relatives. McConahy was the sales manager for the West Hudson Business Service and recently opened his own consulting firm, McConahy Associates. He is survived by a brother in Tennessee

In 1976 Shelden fled to the Netherlands to escape impending charges.[11] To protect his assets, he handed two million dollars in securities to Starchild, who had advised the creation of an offshore trust, with himself as trustee. However, Starchild neglected to provide proper accounting, or hand over the securities to the successor trustee, Edward Brongersma, whom an increasingly worried Shelden appointed. Despite being an international fugitive, in 1983 Shelden managed to successfully take Starchild to court to reclaim the funds.

This is an addiction, these people will always reoffend, they cannot help themselves.

One thing dealers love about addict's is their addiction and determination to get a fix. It's the same basic supply and demand system as any other enterprise. With this addiction there is a layer of secrecy and risk that surpasses going to the corner and buying a hit of whatever poison floats your boat. The risk is so high and the, the risk of getting caught is actually a part of the thrill. Unfortunately not everyone gets caught.

boys from the urban areas where they had less opportunities and set up a nice little "educational", "recreational" boys camp. like the YMCA or Boys Clubs of America but different.

The Pedophile Information Exchange was unique in vetting members by requiring new materials. If one wanted to receive materials, they would need to give new materials to ensure that they weren't a rat. Mutually assured destruction became the go to model for the network, and the greasy methods they go to to ensure equal compliance is why most people have never heard of any of this. Someone who shares materials has a vested interest in ensuring that materials do not come out.

when four children were snatched off the street and murdered in Oakland County, police looked for a lone sadistic killer. Over 50 years later the case is still unsolved but evidence now points to a ring of predators working together.

Oakland County Child Killer Case Suspects and Associates Family members, Investigators and others

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/05/01/us/oakland-county-child-killer-detroit-true-crime.html

Between the years of 1976 and 1977 west of Detroit, unsolved mystery, The Oakland County Child Killers

"In the 1970s, the affluent neighborhoods around Detroit, Michigan were terrorized by a child killer.

Were the four murders connected to a bigger conspiracy across the state and possibly across the nation?"

There were, in all, more than 7 killings with, eyewitness and evidence suggesting connections to the original 4

The areas where the child abductions in Oakland County Michigan took place were fairly affluent  The children were kept for days before being killed,  with Different MO's and their bodies were found in Snow banks (the Snow Killers), some with their clothing neatly washed and folded near their freshly bathed bodies (the babysitter killer). According to several eyewitnesses, young men would ride in 2's and 3's and grab kids at random, off their bikes, or as they were walking home from school, some young "recruits" would later confess to helping lure the children to the car, abductors would often get paid. Some even suspect Gayce may have been involved. (C'mon you know he didn't act alone!)

The case had tentacles into S. E. TN. California, possibly Georgia, Ohio and other states just not connected yet.

There were many players only a few of whom, have ever been caught. Deep divers and victims families think/know it has had many cover-ups, and many omissions, and many "mistakes" of law enforcement, along the way.

Some believe it is still in operation across the country (no one lets a good idea go to waste right?)and has morphed. Many have wondered and worried about the affects left in the quake of this bit of history, much like Charles Manson and Ted Bundy etc.  However still not a lot of people know the extent of the impact from what happened in the 60's, 70's and 80's while kids grew up and rode bikes in neighborhoods where their parents left doors unlocked at night. When soldiers were returning from wars and Young men were being drafted to fight and kill against their nature.

And many including myself wonder what happened to the kids growing up in Michigan who were maybe a brother or sister of a victim, or one who got away, or a neighbor of one of the missing kids, or someone who knew something, or was involved and never let their secrets slip.

Previous to these accounts, another serial killer, Named John Norman Collins  and according to the evidence most likely other killers, were busy to the south of  North Fox Island and just west of Oakland County

"The Michigan Murders was a series of
 highly publicized killings of young
 women committed between 1967 and
1969 in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area of
 Southeastern Michigan by an individual
known as the Ypsilanti Ripper, the
Michigan Murderer, and the Co-Ed Killer."

Map of murder scenes published by the Detroit Free Press in July of 1969.

  • Authorities suspected one man, John Norman Collins, killed them.

  • Yet after a two-year-long investigation, authorities could prove only that Collins killed one woman, the last victim, 18-year-old Karen Sue Beineman.

  • 19 year old Mary Fleszar's case — and the cases of five other victims, Joan Schell, Dawn Basom, Maralynn Skelton, Alice Kalom, and Roxie Phillips — have remained unsolved for half a century or more, a long time to wait for families seeking justice.

  • The only other slaying case, Jane Mixer's, was solved in 2005. It was significantly different from the others, and the state used new DNA evidence to convict Gary Leiterman, who died in the prison system
  • earlier this year(2019).

The last victim, 18-year-old Karen Sue Beineman.

This is the only murder for which Collins would ever stand trial.

During the course of the investigation, police determined that she had been killed in the basement of Collins’ uncle’s family home in the College Height’s neighborhood.  One neighbor, Dr. Marjorie Barnes, saw Collins leaving State Police Sergeant David Leik’s home.

Collins took Beineman’s lifeless body to a gully off Riverside near the Huron River in Ann Arbor.  Three days later it was discovered, and this set a strange sequence of events into effect that would eventually lead to the capture of who many had dubbed the "Ypsilanti Ripper."

John Norman Collins, the Ypsilanti Ripper, 1969
the “Michigan Murderer” who preyed on Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti co-eds for two years.

A Michigan native, Collins grew up just north of Detroit in Center Line. He lived with two older siblings, Jerry and Gail, and their mother, Loretta. She supported the family, working as a waitress. The children were told that their father had abandoned them.
Before serial killers were called serial killers, and FBI profiling, and DNA forensics existed, there was just the daily news delivered by a paper boy who was, at that point in time, a prime target for a mad killer on the loose, or a stray Atom Bomb . Or the family TV with Walter Cronkite and the Columbia Broadcast Systems

I remember when I was a child the thing to be scared of (besides quick sand) was escaped convicts, and kidnappers. We were shown a horrible little PSA film in grade school about kidnappers, seriously no one would think to show such a thing to a child today! and it still gives me the creeps if I hear music that is similar to the theme music they used...propaganda was a big thing, post ww2. We also had to do the duck and cover drills periodically, to make sure the atom bombs don't kill us because desks and schools are kryptonite!

We watched while Kennedy was laid to rest and little John John, saluted his father as the funeral procession rolled by, His mother dressed in Black with a black Lace veil, and his sister held mothers hand.

Then the Zapruder film, and the "true crime" investigations into the Library and the grassy knoll, a second shooter, who was Jack Ruby? and gray matter splattered all over the TV set via Walter Cronkite and Columbia Broadcast Systems.

Plus Bonus!  we all got to see the assassin, Lee Harvey Oswald assassinated on live TV, while we were all asking, "why?"...there were never going to be any answers (officially)

Meanwhile Guerilla's / Khmer Rouge were killing our boys in Vietnam and we learned of far away places like Phenom Pehn, Kampuchea, and Cambodia. We watched the blood and gore in our living rooms, on the TV set nightly via Walter Cronkite and Columbia Broadcast Systems.

and our relatives came back with body parts missing, and mental problems / PTSD we called it shell shock. And they came back with exotic habits and, exotic religions, and exotic diseases, and some came back with stories no one wanted to listen to, some even came back with knowledge of children that shared their blood, but that they would never get to see. And some...a lot...came back in body bags, while some never came back, either by choice or they were just lost in the shuffle, neither spirits nor bodies returned to their homes.

We had to really pay attention if we wanted to keep up, because at 6 years old, my first thought on hearing the word Guerillas, was oh my! a big monkey, like King Kong?

At 5 years old, sometime after seeing the Kennedy Drama, 1963/64, now living in South Carolina, I personally watched as a long motorcade of military vehicles, weapons and combat vehicles, yes like tanks! and whatever! went, slowly by the front yard, some on the road and some on the railroad /train-tracks which ran along the highway, some men in full dress and gear, carrying guns, were on foot. It seemed like it went on for hours. I can still remember being confused and terrified by it. I suppose they were on their way to Fort Jackson Or Columbia SC to be deployed overseas, plus moving the weapons to be transported overseas (that's basically the explanation I got from the grown ups).

The same year 1963/4 the Milkman left a photograph (not a print) of the Beatles in the little milk jug basket for me. I always greeted him at the door when he came. He knew the babysitter and I liked to listen to Elvis, and Chubby Checker, and we did the twist.

Did you know the Beatles were actually getting off the air plane in the US for the first time, heading for the Ed Sullivan Theater, the day before Kennedy was Shot?  And they had to cancel and come back later...wait no...that's part of a conspiracy theory but the fact is:

https://www.latimes.com/entertainment/music/la-xpm-2013-nov-22-la-et-ms-beatles-kennedy-assassination-nov-22-1963-20131122-story.html

The Beatles, shown on April 8, 1963, with producer George Martin, were introduced to a national television audience in the U.S. by “CBS Morning News” anchor Mike Wallace on Nov. 22, 1963, hours before President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas.

The connection between the assassination of President John F. Kennedy and the eruption of Beatlemania in the U.S. a little more than two months later when the group showed up on “The Ed Sullivan Show” has long been established. The joy in the group’s new sound and look, played out on the faces of Sullivan’s audience full of screaming teenagers, gave a grieving nation a much-needed reason to smile once again.

An aside re Mike Wallace oye! I used to care for an elderly woman who told me, that when she was young, she was working as hostess for a fancy Hotel in Miami when he Mr Wallace approached her and asked if he could touch her "upper torso"  yaaaah her Boobs! and she obliged and it was her favorite story to tell. She had a very amply filled, and impressive "upper torso"  and in those days she wore the very popular torpedo bras, lord have mercy lol.

That was on Nov. 22, 1963. (when the Beatles were introduced)

“The CBS Morning News with Mike Wallace” profiled the Beatles in a segment that was scheduled to be repeated on the nightly news show hosted by Walter Cronkite. But when President Kennedy was shot and killed in Dallas that day, every other topic went onto the back burner.

“As the world mourned JFK and became engulfed in the awful news, the light-hearted story that Mike Wallace had presented just two hours earlier faded very rapidly.”

“Wallace himself forgot all about it,” Lewis wrote in a remembrance of Wallace’s legacy. “But 18 days later one man did remember it. Mike Wallace’s senior colleague at CBS News -- Walter Cronkite.

“Cronkite was looking for a way to lift the spirits of the devastated American public with a cheerful segment. And he recalled the film clip that Wallace had introduced on his Morning News show that dreadful Dallas morning,” Martin wrote.

“Cronkite decided to resurrect the story and on Tuesday, Dec. 10, he re-aired the sparkling five-minute film clip of the Beatles enchanting their British fans,” Lewis wrote. “To a nation still reeling from the massive emotional trauma of JFK’s assassination, the exuberant optimism of the Fab Four offered solace and the glimpse of a New Beginning. The film clip triggered an astonishing chain reaction that kick-started Beatlemania in the USA.”

As Lewis notes, Beatlemania undoubtedly would have arrived sooner or later anyway.

so yeh extended massive TRAUMAs for everyone!

Oh BTW, an aside:

I was kidnapped by my non custodial father when I was 4 and never saw my mother again until I was 15 years old. He drove to the house, my mother was staying with us at my aunt's house. He pulled up to the street beside the house and asked if we wanted ice cream? DUH!!! yes we do!, we jumped in the car, he got us ice cream, and from what I remember we drove to South Carolina, from  South FL 1963. No one told me my story I had to figure it out. Now I am just nosey, with a head full of memories of the era!
