0:14
there is no investigation this boy has not released this to me don't say any
0:19
abs and stuff but i have to put her
0:25
[Music] on the side
0:30
for me and my boys and my kids don't say any abs and stuff there is no investigation this boy
0:40
[Music]
0:54
it's hard [Music]
1:10
i'm gonna do what i gotta do for me and my boys and my kids
1:16
won't say any abstinence style live from the nbd production studios
1:23
you're in the lab with your host joshua diaz what's going on everybody
1:32
welcome to the lab i'm your host [Music]
1:47
[Music] and i do believe there are corn dog
1:54
emojis thanks to my esteemed partner here
2:02
[Laughter] [Music]
2:16
if you look down there there's just corn dog after corn dog
2:21
that's down that's what i'm talking about now we need now we need some ketchup packets
2:27
and mustard packets [Laughter] oh man that is too good
2:35
that is too good how are you chris josh outstanding how about you bud i'm doing
2:41
fine thank you so much and thanks for being here uh what a what a fun
2:47
um thing that we we've got going on here with the collins and um they are
2:54
fantastic um i mean i'm excited to be here thank you and and so
3:00
uh tonight what we're gonna do is we're gonna take some phone calls now uh once again
3:06
i will say that i have my favorite button of all time it's ready to go at any time
3:13
uh who will be the first i doubt it'll happen
3:18
because people that come here just love us but you know i'm ready i'm ready for it
3:24
and um i had to thank here for some reason
3:31
let me see you need to name your button my corndog button no no no yeah the uh the cut off yes so
3:38
like down the range or something like that on your on the pistol range it's just like
3:43
uh yeah like um like uh i don't know i don't know what to call it maybe i'll
3:49
just i call it the run button no
3:54
did you get ran off not a very good car and you know and if
4:01
somebody's mean or you know then i'll play that song and then i'll
4:06
mock them mercilessly no i'm just like ali says the gong button
4:11
i thought about the gong button but i like my song [Music]
4:18
it's like it's like you know right in my do you remember the larry david show
4:24
the larry david show refresh my memory um i don't know i think that's just what
4:30
it's called corn dogs [Laughter]
4:36
no he didn't eat any corn dogs but he very well couldn't um so here's how it's gonna work we'll
4:44
take uh obviously get through as many as we can um while somebody is talking if you call
4:51
you'll probably just ring ring ring so if you can wait
4:56
um and we'll try to move through you know i know people want to call and talk to the
5:01
to the to the fluffinator by the way your hair looks spectacular you know i went in today thank you so much as you
5:08
know we talked earlier and i said can i get the larry and they gave me the mo the mouse yeah
5:14
it's better than the curly you know so that's right you're doing it you're doing it and you
5:20
look fantastic and um so let's uh without further ado i guess uh
5:27
we'll open the lines and and see uh see what's happening here let me take a
5:32
look here and let me put the number up on the screen
5:38
for and uh i guess we'll just wait for it to ring
5:44
chris i mean that's yeah but you know we we had a lot uh you know karen and i were out today you know she got she got
5:50
her stuff you know she got some nails done and she looks beautiful as ever and yeah i went out and grabbed a haircut
5:57
while we're waiting for a phone call and you know track the news like everybody else
6:03
craziness out there we don't need to go there tonight but uh you know the go ahead
6:09
oh yeah i i i have really no interest in
6:15
talking with about something that i'm not qualified at you know to talk about i know that there's
6:20
heavy hearts out there and uh i pray for everybody that is
6:25
affected and so it's just it's the worst you know so you're not
6:32
going to get any um you're not going to get any advice from me it's just
6:38
i i don't i'm not comfortable with it it's just i just it's just a tragedy and that's all i
6:43
know and um that's all uh so
6:49
have you figured out this closed caption i see chris has put that on my channel too and i
6:54
i have you talked to youtube because i talked to youtube support and they said look that
7:00
all that closed caption has to be activated from the other side either once it's either played or when
7:07
you press you know command c or c uh because i've tried everything in my
7:13
power and and if you know a secret i'd like to know it because i certainly want to take care of that guy and others i um
7:23
i don't know i'll have to check and i certainly will
7:30
um but no i don't so i will take we got our first call of
7:35
the night though and let's go ahead and take it
7:42
i call her you're on the air where are you calling from helene hello
7:48
hi hey i can just barely hear you let me turn the sound up a little bit eat it
7:54
better i'm getting old okay can you hear me any better
8:00
i can yes i can i'm crazy how are you i'm well how are you good yes i'm good
8:06
i'm good so i was gonna be the brave one to take this and take the bull by the horns and still
8:13
have my first call they're both scared i think because you know
8:19
there's something extra on there since you since you called in now they're cracking it's
8:25
crack-a-lacking it's going is it okay yeah well i don't want it it's corn
8:30
dogging say hi to chris he is corn dog
8:35
it is corn dog corn dog i didn't even know was there i just put up an ear of corn and a dog i was the best i could do
8:45
oh well what can i do for you don't live that day on uh nothing just gonna call in and say
8:51
hello yeah and i i love this call and it's it's awesome and um we are the lab
8:57
rap the best ever you know no western stuff everybody's nice
9:04
and you know so you guys are great together i always love to watch y'all listen to y'all
9:09
uh you've all met and that that's not seen a lot so uh
9:15
i also wanted to ask chris something okay feel free where's your favorite place to uh yeah where's your favorite
9:21
place in in the us to uh park the airstream i guess so to speak like to
9:26
hang out in in the country you know thank you for asking that question i um
9:33
you know there are so many beautiful places right um
9:38
we love it um on both you know the southeast yeah down in
9:44
[Music] you know the florida area as well as alabama down in and then
9:51
you know the dustin area in florida yeah and then yeah and then of course
9:56
the great smokies area yeah i'm right there
10:02
yeah yes ma'am and they just started charging for that to go into that this year believe it or not they great
10:09
park yeah national parks overseas actual national parks yep they're going to
10:14
charge gatlinburg into the park really yep i had did not know that
10:22
it's brand new brand new this year we just learned that wow yeah that's
10:27
i mean oh i don't want to go how far back i mean for years my family you know
10:33
camped there went there all the time you know and um so
10:39
have you been to dog have you been to the um uh you probably have been to dollywood
10:44
but have you been to the stampede to be a good i don't think they can call it the dixie stampede anymore did you
10:51
like it you know i loved it were you in that were you in that show
10:56
no no no no i've been there several times i just wondered if you hadn't been there no no
11:02
i've written words i ain't that good there you go oh don't call me ma'am either
11:08
[Laughter] sorry about that i apologize yes i'm on josh's show over the first
11:14
call-in and i've already made my first mistake yeah one of many mistakes you've made on this show no problem hey thank
11:21
you so much for calling all right you all have a great night and talk to you later
11:31
go ahead caller you're on the air
11:36
maybe you're not on the air we'll see oh yeah you are for sure
11:44
[Music]
11:53
it's we're blowing up over here chris blowing up okay keep it going buddy i'll follow
11:58
your lead i'll follow your lead yep all right caller you're on the air go ahead
12:04
uh hello there josh and mr chris is
12:14
i meant to ask you the other night about a question what's been going around and
12:20
everything since commissioner mcfluff is up there is um
12:25
i want you you and his opinion on what kansas is saying she's got to put
12:33
summer aside and think about her and the boys you know that kind of aggravates me
12:39
badly yeah chris i'll let you take that um uh
12:45
i mean you're familiar with candace saying you know that
12:50
she's got to put her she's got to put her kids to the or she's got to put him to the side
12:55
um yeah i i uh go ahead chris well hey man first of all thanks for
13:01
calling in um it's great to hear you hey i'm from wherever one you're what we're on one of your buddies little hometown
13:09
here in little cookie town yes sir
13:15
yes sir jax is better in caller this is a second call this is awesome awesome so um
13:22
yeah to answer your question for me when i first heard that it was obviously
13:28
you know disturbing to hear that because like all of us we all felt like you know
13:33
what's the next thing we can do and now all of a sudden you know
13:39
you you're hearing you know from candice saying that she doesn't want to do
13:44
anything else other than focus on the three boys who you know are quote
13:50
with her i.e in terms of around so that one you know the other thought
13:55
that i had was is she thinking or she obviously knows something more that we don't know
14:02
uh and why would you say that about your daughter who you know just recently had a birthday and
14:08
uh so you know how to how did it how did it bug you bud what went through your mind you know you
14:15
know it just hit me in the wrong spot in my heart because you know if if that was my
14:21
daughter he'll say if i was in their shoes and i know my boys have been taken away
14:28
putting in a good place for right now i'll be focusing on my daughter everyone's missing you see what i'm
14:35
talking about yep yep understand it yep yep josh what's up yeah you know i i
14:42
think her these slips and these miss
14:47
you know these missteps that she's had are all at this point in her head it's all
14:53
subliminal i feel she she does she knows that
14:59
uh summer isn't coming home and she has made peace with that
15:06
in her head unfortunately which is completely wrong
15:11
but it's always been about the boys and i've heard that from several people
15:19
and i just don't think that she has any chance i don't have any information this is
15:25
just my opinion but it would be foolish to give those children back to her
15:31
um and that's the the one thing that she's holding on to that
15:37
she can feel decent about is that she can kind of uh
15:42
posture about getting the kids the boys back but she just knows that summer
15:48
uh isn't coming back and so that's why i that that's just my opinion
15:55
oh yeah but i i believe you're down way down deep inside
16:02
um that there's more involved in it than you
16:08
know um there's black known you know what i mean
16:13
yeah the information that's out there definitely isn't i mean there's a entire story that
16:20
hasn't been told yet and um the answers are out there just
16:28
you know who knows when they're coming out and and if they do and and i believe that they will but that to me that is
16:36
kind of how i feel about it that's what i think she means by that
16:43
yeah all right and i'll get off here a little bit another call is coming here
16:51
you're welcome there chris and y'all have a good night and god bless you all thanks a lot sure nice meeting you thank you
16:58
all right all right jack a fan favorite uh
17:05
always calling with the heat let's uh see what we got going on here
17:13
quit buzzing like that it's gonna blow up i have a feeling that
17:26
while he's doing that how's everybody doing tonight it's great to have you or hit that subscribe button if you're new
17:31
to josh's channel and become a lab rat yeah give it a try
17:37
hammer that button that thumbs up let's see here and
17:43
i hope you guys had a great day hello caller you're on the air hello how
17:49
are you what happened you hung up she hung up
17:56
she was there she was there she certainly was there
18:02
come on you got people hanging up calling left and right and hanging up
18:07
as soon as they see me it's like click [Laughter] oh oh i thought i was talking to josh
18:13
click click right we don't blame you folks we don't know we don't blame you
18:19
she'd see me drive when i was born they told my mother they slapped my mother yeah well that makes sense actually it
18:26
actually does and i could see why they would do that because i do absolutely absolutely
18:32
[Music] so while he's looking for a microwave we'll uh
18:38
keep things going hopefully everybody's doing well and you had a great day today uh
18:44
linda happy birthday linda hansen great day happy birthday
18:52

19:13
i love shih tzu not i love that that's a great name isn't it that's a dog i love
19:18
that absolutely love it she thinks you're hanging up on people
19:24
over here i i think i am they're just coming in one after the other and then disconnecting
19:30
so that's fun that's okay hey shelby
19:40
hello caller you're on the air how are you doing i'm doing good how are you i'm doing
19:46
fine where are you calling from i'm colin from kalamazoo michigan kalamazoo

19:59
really really grown a lot i mean i i commend you for everything that you say and do thank you much more so than
20:07

20:13
thank you i appreciate you saying that and i just want you to know that
20:19
keep up the good work thank you very much okay you have a good night all right you
20:25
too awesome it was very nice that was very nice that was awesome well
20:30
deserved i second that i third it actually
20:36
somebody says i'm talking like a mama's boy go ahead caller you're on the air
20:45
well i thought you were on the air but i guess you're not we're getting there
20:51
on hold someone's on hold here hello
20:56
hello how are you pretty good how are you i'm doing fine where are you calling from
21:03
indiana oh awesome what uh what can we do for you
21:09
well i just wanted to say how much we love your show and you and chris both
21:29
i think you have an echo uh i think you should i think the either your tv is on in the background
21:35
or radio or something and this is for the next plot
21:41
okay go ahead my question to you is if you know something about the delphi murders
21:49
who do you contact uh indiana state police
21:55
or the fbi call the number yes ma'am that they've made available
22:02
indiana state police that's who i would call the state police correct
22:08
okay because we uh a friend of mine feels that you have the wrong man there's a man that did the profile more
22:16
than the other guy yeah and when you say i have the wrong man who who who do i have
22:23
the the guy that they've been talking about the heavy stat man with the beard and
22:30
brown hair oh as i said i'm not in my clothes
22:36
yeah i don't i don't have that guy you mean the guy in the uh in the affidavit
22:42
yeah yeah well there's another guy that fits the
22:48
profile better than him and he has the same code uh there's a lot of stuff that he's
22:54
hidden um and i know the people who know about it
23:01
and i want to see yeah then no i agree with you and i i
23:07
haven't said he's the guy yeah i didn't say he was the guy if you watch the whole show
23:13
i said i i just covered the affidavit like everybody else somehow people have an impression that i thought
23:19
he was the guy i'm really sorry
23:25
i'm sorry call drop okay no worries thank you for calling
23:31
appreciate your insight so if you have any information about any crime contact the local police with the
23:38
department that it that it uh goes through and um
23:44
they will happily take that see here
23:50
there it is theresa just put it up josh the tip perfect perfect let's see here to the doom nope
23:58
wrong one go ahead caller you're on the air
24:08
people hang up really fast i'm kind of surprised let's see
24:16
are you there caller yo i'm here can you hear me i can where are you calling from
24:22
michigan how you doing today so my question is right along the lines of
24:28
what you were just talking about so i was in hawkins county tennessee and i had a confrontation
24:34
with a maroon toyota tacoma and i have it all on video
24:40
and i've called tbi twice i've called sheriff lawson and i've left
24:45
messages with detective pruitt and heard nothing and it's been about five weeks
24:52
since it happened have you emailed have you emailed it to them
24:58
yep you emailed it you called and you haven't received any call any any calls back no
25:04
no then here's another piece of advice uh call tbi ask for director dave roush
25:14
tell him you have information in the summer wells case and to have the case agent call you
25:21
he's the director of tbi that should get everybody's attention if he doesn't respond which i know he will but if he
25:28
doesn't respond then call your local fbi agent your local fbi office in indiana
25:35
where you are and tell them you have information on the summer wells case
25:41
okay a lot of people in your chat know who i am um a lot a lot of people saw it well okay so dave roush do i call the
25:48
regular tbi number the 800 number yeah just say i'd like the director's office
25:53
and then you're going to get the secretary and then you tell the secretary what you just told youtube
26:00
okay and then turn the information right perfect and i sure have fun
26:07
i believe everybody's outing you as um scotty scholes
26:13
yeah everybody knows who i am yeah i spent a week down there and filmed it and everything else but yeah yeah so i
26:19
saw you it was very interesting the driving and the just showing the ruleness of the area very uh
26:24
very cool man well thank you for um doing that and thanks for calling um yeah i uh
26:31
that i can just imagine i'm trying i'm trying to get i'm trying to get heard you know and i
26:37
took it down like when i was live kind of when it happened and i took it down and i've been sitting on it and i've
26:42
been trying to get it to somebody because if it's important it needs to be looked at and if it's not at
26:48
least tell me right right kind of thing exactly yeah we agreed we agree well
26:54
thanks a lot i uh be interested to hear if they get back to you
27:01
all right thank you take care bye-bye and so um
27:07
yeah once again i mean i can't imagine how backed up
27:12
that police station in hawkins county or that sheriff's office in hawkins county is i i bet they just get hammered all
27:20
day long and i mean i understand why i do but
27:26
at some point it's just like can be completely overwhelming i mean it's not like they have this huge organization
27:34
with a bunch of people fielding calls you know i mean they have
27:40
emergencies to go out on they have cases that they're trying to solve uh it is just a very
27:49
you know it's just it's it's hectic i know that let's go ahead and move on to the next call
28:00
go ahead caller you're on the air
28:05
i guess they're not on the air it's pretty interesting how fast
28:12
people hang up
28:19
how fast how fast they hang up yeah they just it starts like cycling and then somebody ends up hanging up and then not
28:26
staying on the line and there's not a lot of uh
28:32
patience i mean while you're while we're waiting for a call i mean what i think there's somebody
28:37
go ahead go ahead no go ahead they'll wait no no no they're more important than me are you on you're on the air
28:48
they just post the number please it's it's i've been i've posted it for a
28:54
while it's on a banner going by
28:59
you know i try that let's just do it this way because for some reason this seems to
29:05
not be working but um give me one second here go ahead chris
29:11
what were you gonna say no i mean what's happening obviously you know the the intensity of this of the
29:17
those investigations as quickly as they come on uh and then when they start to slow down
29:22
go ahead tell me when you're ready
29:33
what goes on obviously for obvious reasons is uh you know they get a ton of information a
29:40
ton of overflow is what we should call it and then you have to sift through what's
29:45
viable and what's uh you know what's fantasy and what's hocus pocus
30:01
hey there she is hello hello hello how are you
30:06
hello i'm fine can you hear me i can hear you can you hear me um i can hear you just great thank you thank you for
30:13
taking my call this is my first call ever awesome i'm a bit nervous i want to say first
30:19
and foremost um godspeed to both you and and chris may
30:24
god keep you and your families and protect you and and thank you for everything you do thank you thank you
30:30
for your time okay thank you um i do have a question um it's more of an opinion question and i'd
30:37
love to get both of your opinions what do you make of candace's absence of
30:43
late and maybe knowing her possible whereabouts i
30:48
did hear rumors that she was in alabama but again um don't know and i guess
30:54
technically it's none of our business but um what what sort of sign would you take this as
31:00
her absence um yeah i i think somebody got in her ear
31:07
that had some common sense i guess and was saying you know you're making an uh
31:13
a dummy out of yourself by the way that you're acting drinking and and going on saying all these that's just my opinion
31:20
uh but i think that she heeded the warning of of somebody
31:27
well it must take it takes a very special person it seems to if if that's true and she's um maybe making a turn
31:34
for the better um that's great for her and and god bless the person who's doing that if
31:40
that's true let's hope so yeah i don't know you know i always i always wish
31:46
everybody well i just don't know i just don't know where she's at in her
31:52
life and from the year that we've spent talking about her
31:58
um i just i don't see i don't see any betterment coming at the
32:05
moment right now i just think that she's tucked away with somebody that uh
32:11
is taking care of her and i mean that's her god-given right do you think she's run away
32:18
if that's too much too harsh of the question i understand uh chris i'll let you answer that go ahead
32:26
good i appreciate
32:31
you know i don't know if she's run away i know that she's running from something
32:36
yes and and you know when we had her down at the waterhole
32:44
that day and then the um the search and rescue showed up it kind of threw her for a curveball because i
32:51
we literally turned the camera off and she was just crying so uncontrollably and she
32:58
i saw the same emotion at the waterhole as i did the night she was intoxicated where she
33:05
reached over uh you know to want to say i want to tell them what happened and she said
33:10
that remember i don't remember that so
33:16
you don't think that was an act for you she was performing for you with the
33:21
crying no not not at that moment well no did i you know obviously i didn't
33:28
you know i gave her an oscar for some of the other stuff but at the same time you know um
33:35
when you're looking into somebody's soul at that point you know standing there at the water's edge and they're looking right back at you knowing that you you
33:41
think you know and she she knows that you think you know and uh you know we just kind of click
33:48
for a second and then there was this curveball of the search and rescue and she turned to me and she goes did you did you call
33:54
them and i said no i didn't even know they were going to be here that was a true statement and it always has been in that
34:02
moment it was like the you know the light switch came back on and she went right into
34:07
you know the narrative so would that tell you that summer maybe
34:13
is possibly not coming back to us then most likely i don't know i mean should i want to
34:19
keep my i want to be hopeful as always i think personally she's
34:24
she's the thief of my heart and as i know she is to so many
34:29
and you know my husband and i weren't able to have children and we would have given anything to have had a little
34:35
little angel like her um she's just she's stolen our hearts
34:40
um and and we wouldn't know her but for the fact that this
34:46
horrible thing happened to her and we also wouldn't know so much of what's
34:52
going on or what had gone on in her life her short little life up to now if it had not been for people like
34:58
you especially you chris and and to josh as well so from the bottom of my heart i
35:04
thank you thank you and i pray for all of you for your safety and
35:09
and for summers as well i still do have a threat of hope that she will she will be you know found safely somewhere
35:18
well what a lovely caller thank you so much thank you very much thank you thank you so much thank you for taking my call
35:24
and have a good evening and have a good evening and chat everyone and mods thank you so much thanks and i'm
35:31
calling from washington state washington state love washington right tri-cities washington although we're not native
35:38
here we're from the south but we've lived in washington state well you could have fooled me
35:43
[Laughter] we sort of lived all over though you know we're originally from
35:49
sort of that area my my husband um was from the knoxville area and i lived
35:56
in memphis tennessee so that's where we're from that we're in the great state of washington
36:02
thank you so much for calling thank you thank you gentlemen and god bless take care thank you so much
36:08
so we'll roll right in uh here to the next call caller go ahead you're on the air
36:16
josh thank you for taking my call i'm from st paul minnesota hey how are you
36:23
i'm good thank you you're welcome christian and josh
36:28
i have a question i don't know if i can answer it uh
36:34
or ask it but actually i have two questions um
36:41
i would like to know why a certain woman
36:47
um a creator um i'll just say
36:52
voices on the wall told
36:57
don w never tell anyone
37:03
what summer had on the last time you saw her
37:08
and the second question i have is jodie sue
37:13
standing in the pond
37:19
with her feet to eliminate
37:25
any evidence so to speak i don't know if that was the reason she did it but
37:32
and the dogs could summer have trailed over there and got
37:39
gotten taken by a dog those are my three comments
37:45
so the the the answer to your first question is i
37:50
don't know what that what was said between um
37:56
that certain creator and dw i know after a year of this stuff it's just
38:04
it's really hard to know i mean when you say chris like i mean so much has been said
38:10
um and uh so i you know for me to speculate
38:15
i don't know why anybody would say that i mean there were people at the beginning
38:20
that absolutely thought that dawn um was a saint
38:27
and that he was trying his best i don't think that was
38:32
ever the the case um but uh so there were people on his side
38:38
very early on in the case if you've noticed now almost everybody
38:43
has turned on on dawn um
38:49
in in in one way shape or another from his actions now um
38:56
and to be honest with you i also don't know uh about the jodie sue standing in the water i really
39:03
don't i mean i've heard rumblings of it but none of that stuff to me
39:08
is um factual that i know of you know i mean it's just a lot of it is hearsay a lot
39:16
of it is conjecture and a lot of it i i would feel stupid speculating on i'm
39:22
sure chris would probably feel uh the same way she said it herself
39:30
yeah well that's the thing i i haven't heard it uh and so i would have to i'd
39:35
have to hear it in context and then um
39:41
and then i could give you a better uh and i will i'll take a look at i just i just haven't heard it i
39:48
thank you i find that i find that odd um but what isn't odd in this case
39:54
unfortunately so um
40:00
anything you want to add there chris no i think you answered it uh
40:05
appropriately why don't you say hi to chris since you're on the line here hi hello chris
40:11
how are you yeah to hear your voice it's great to hear yours and thank you
40:17
so much for that for those comments and that question i um i think josh answered it
40:23
ex expertly yeah yeah and thank you for um
40:29
all your work and then i wanted to add something about
40:35
um don w thing i'll see her in the resurrection well there's something we
40:41
can speak about it that he has to get there too to see her
40:46
yeah amen to that right good good that's a good a good start exactly i don't i don't want to accuse
40:53
anybody this is um you know but what about what but it's a comment
41:00
but what an odd thing to say [Music] that's an absolutely odd thing for any
41:06
parent to say though wouldn't you agree well in his um
41:13
in his mind he might have thought if she's taken
41:20
by someone and raised under on you know
41:25
an unhealthy atmosphere he was hoping that she she would go
41:33
more or less of a holier way and he was hoping he would
41:38
see her in the resurrection but the way he said it i
41:44
i translated in my mind well donald
41:50
you have to make it to the resurrection in order to see her right
41:55
and i know from his he does have some bible knowledge
42:02
that is a fact but um
42:07
well i i just know that he does have some knowledge
42:12
and he's learned it through the years through the mormons and the
42:18
other church i forget what what what the name of it is but seven
42:23
thousand minutes yeah they have a pamphlet about missing children in a game they play
42:31
hide-and-go-seek that's a fact
42:36
you can call them and ask them for the pamphlet that it's an exercise they do
42:42
for missing children i found that kind of strange also
42:47
so yeah yeah i understand that well well thank you for calling
42:52
well thank you and um i'm sorry to hear about jose if he has
42:58
passed away my condolences to to a loss so yeah yeah absolutely and
43:06
uh yes yes absolutely 100 right thank you so much for calling thank you very much
43:13
bye for now bye-bye thank you so much
43:18
and let's see here you know that was a really interesting
43:24
comment she just made yeah hide and seek
43:30
it's interesting because the boys told somebody that i know first
43:35
hand remember that one of the boys said we were
43:40
playing hide and seek yep and i related that to
43:46
outside a game outside but i wonder if it's correlated to what she just said this that caller may have just given us
43:52
another clue you know i and i had heard that that was something i've heard that as well and but i mean
44:00
she's right it is an absolute real thing that for some reason
44:06
um but yeah i mean the hide and go seek theory
44:12
it might run a little deeper than we know caller you're on the air where are you calling from
44:17
hey guys i'm calling from i'm getting an echo
44:23
can you can you hear me i can now yeah where are you from pittsburgh pittsburgh go steelers
44:30
that's right hi chris hi josh hi how are you penguins
44:36
yeah they did pretty good they're all right okay i enjoy your camping stories i'm a
44:42
camper too um to go in there memorial day weekend but um something last week i've been
44:48
following you with the whole summer wells case i wasn't like a big youtube watcher but of course my kids are and
44:54
now i'm hooked especially on you guys i was watching last week though do you
44:59
guys remember the movie gone baby gone uh yeah i do
45:05
it was the mom was a wreck and then the little girl was stolen yeah that was
45:11
and then she comes back at the end i was just watching that the other day and it was it was one of those heartstrings where i hope she ends up in the end okay
45:17
but the end of gone baby gone they gave her back to her mother and that was a waste but um i just wanted to call in and say
45:24
you know i really enjoy you guys and you're always clean my daughters can listen in when i'm listening so i really
45:29
appreciate that yeah thank you for saying that it's um
45:34
something that uh i've worked on personally and it um
45:40
it seems to that the people do appreciate it and uh you know i had never really
45:46
thought about if there were kids in the room listening and
45:53
until you know later on when i started to kind of understand the demographic who's listening a lot of
46:01
people are watching their grandkids and their kids while they're you know at home uh taking care of those kids so
46:09
obviously um it it is helpful if if you can
46:14
walk away and not have to worry about somebody you know screaming and cussing and so i um
46:20
i felt that that was a really good uh a move and and uh
46:25
chris i i you know he's an angel so you know he's he's never i wish
46:31
nice try right that was a hip check
46:37
have her swear words i can't say that but i mean just how the lightness of
46:43
the seriousness that we're talking about is also appreciated totally okay 100 things happen
46:50
you know not sheltering my kids but again it's not there's no
46:56
in-depth everything everything's kind of high level you know i used to have um i had a philosophy when i would put a
47:03
new rookie in the car with me or something when i was you know
47:08
on the street and i would tell them if you can't control your tongue
47:13
how are you going to control your finger when the time is right
47:18
right and you know i i've always tried to live by that philosophy that you know if you
47:24
can't control what comes out of your mouth and it just drives me crazy to no end to see some of these
47:31
you know folks on the street just cussing at the citizenry you know at the citizens it's like you
47:36
know why are you doing that it it lowers our profession and you know the professional standards
47:43
that we should be you know officers should you know they should display that into the public
47:50
because d you know the public deserves it and if you can't control that up here you know
47:55
this as they say this the the tongue is as sharp as a two-edged sword and that's a true statement
48:02
and you know you you just wonder then when you pull your gun
48:07
if you can't uh you know what's the urge into into that so that's just my
48:13
philosophy it's my own opinion um you know some people call me a prima
48:18
donna or you know the other things whatever i could care less because i try to hold myself to a higher
48:24
standard because you you know i think people deserve it uh you right and i'm a separation
48:32
civil civil service we have firefighters in my family and you know policemen are role models
48:37
you know so i mean it it's amazing when little kids come up to you back in the day
48:44
anyway and they wanted to emulate the career i don't know if that i don't know if
48:50
that's happening anymore other than firefighters though but you know why god made cops right
48:59
so firefighters have somebody to look up to i can't believe you gave me that much room
49:07
yeah my uh yeah well you know we know a couple officers but yeah no my grandpa dad brother all
49:14
firemen incoming dad joke three two one here
49:19
well civil services uh is it's necessary and we saw that
49:25
you know we saw that with that border patrol agent and how he threw his life on the line
49:30
and you know the horrific events there or so and you know that's another show but um
49:36
you know those are the kind of things where you say okay now now's the time to step up
49:41
and those those are the folks that i'm so grateful are still in the profession and in the career and we got a lot of a
49:48
lot of great great law enforcement folks uh firefighters nurses doctors
49:54
you know lawyers believe it or not you know i mean you know the civil servants they don't
49:59
get enough they don't get enough of hey thank you uh in today's world today so
50:05
but we saw it in action and uh thank you so much for your kindness and your your thoughts on that as well no thanks bye
50:12
see you and we're just going to have one little hello from the daughter say hi hi hi how are you who's this
50:20
good nice to meet you
50:26
the world needs firefighters thanks for getting your yeah become a fire you can do you know as the mind of man conceives
50:32
and believes the mind of man achieves or the mind of woman you girls are smarter than us guys that's for sure
50:38
you go for spanish chris yeah i know enough spanish to get me in trouble bilingual i'm very young
50:45
lavish manos thank you for calling i appreciate it
50:51
thank you guys thanks have a good one thank you adios
50:57
quick one there love that adios let's see here we'll
51:03
take let's take another call here speaker
51:09
[Music] caller you're on the air where are you calling from
51:14
charleston south carolina well now are you a darius ruckers fan
51:22
i've seen darius when he was with the blowfish yeah yeah man and my daughter
51:27
played his daughter in volleyball so yeah so kind of a fan here see i i you
51:32
know how you doing tonight what what uh what's on your mind
51:38
i'm good so um i actually had found and
51:44
i've asked a couple of creators no one really knows and i know chris might have
51:50
an idea about this um after the 911 the central intelligence
51:56
dci had the capability if law enforcement
52:02
requested the satellite imaging of a territory
52:09
they could provide it during a certain time frame and i just wondered if
52:15
this was something i know with the terrain and whatnot but the roads would be easily viewed
52:22
um with satellite if this was something that was requested for that time frame
52:27
days leading up to and after to see who may have gone in and out
52:33
of um ben hill road so josh you want me to take this yes please
52:40
i don't know anything about um satellite imaging okay no problem so the
52:47
there is an office uh in the federal government and it's the
52:52
uh the na the national counterterrorism center and uh it's called nctc
52:59
they run under the patriot act
53:06
for various situations that you're talking about for counterintelligence satellites that kind
53:13
of stuff and there's also another offshoot where
53:19
satellites can be utilized the the challenge that local law
53:24
enforcement has the access to that data in relationship
53:31
to local crimes um typically it has to be a federal
53:38
situation like on a federal installation like a military base
53:43
anything connected to the federal government so you because you have to go to a federal
53:50
judge and get a warrant i.e a fisa warrant for an example
53:57
and then in that warrant you can request you know cell phone data you know any type
54:04
of forensics data and including satellite data okay now there are others
54:10
you know companies out there that brokerage this stuff
54:15
uh and they sell it to private firms uh so
54:20
the to answer your question to try to get hold of so sell you know satellite data
54:27
uh it would be faster quite frankly to go to google earth and and cross your fingers that
54:35
you know when the car was going down the road with the cameras going it caught something
54:40
because you know it would really be very very hard
54:45
to get that data but so that's why they rely primarily on
54:50
you know cell phones and that kind of stuff and there are some great companies out there that that can
54:56
provide that under the uh guise of a search warrant
55:02
now are you talking about i kind of wonder are you talking about imaging like imaging from that day specifically
55:08
is that what you mean yes i know when i look when i found this and i went to one
55:16
of those sites chris was just speaking of you literally can put in the area
55:22
and the time frame that you want now whether it's really going to be june 15th 3 o'clock
55:28
you know 110 ben hill road i don't know um the imaging is grainy you can't see much
55:36
on my laptop you know so but i in reading the deposition that was given
55:43
in 96 it was saying that this would be something that would be put out there for
55:48
local law enforcement to utilize if they needed it for anything they just needed
55:53
to give permission and request the images that were taken because apparently the satellites go around and
55:59
snap you know constantly but again like chris said it would have to be right at that time you know but you
56:08
know at this point you know i it's just so sad i have i do have to say that the first thing i ever
56:14
saw was in the end of june 1st july i saw the
56:20
thumbnail of summer's face and it was on chris's channel and
56:25
i watched it and i've been watching ever since and lab you came into the picture and
56:32
the two of you i i appreciate everything you do simplify and oh thank you take
56:38
care of yourselves thank you for your service were you a hollywood marine or your family or where were you my father was
56:46
paris island um 21 years i was born november 10th so you think he would have loved me best
56:52
but i was more like him so no that didn't happen i'm a nurse and uh my
56:58
father's past but my father was in 21 years so bless you
57:04
well thank you and again you all take care and everybody listen and chat take care love your kids
57:10
you know yes crazy stuff in this world i swear absolutely yeah thank you so much for
57:16
calling uh we take care okay thank you bye-bye bye
57:23
another great caller i mean why not why we're on a roll why not rattle off another one let's do it
57:31
excellent callers uh go ahead caller you're on the air hi josh thank you for taking my call hi
57:37
how are you good how are you i'm doing fine where you calling from
57:43
boston math all right and so hi chris hi how are you this is actually a
57:48
procedural question for you okay help me um hi to you
57:54
um on sunday you did a really nice job on the affidavit when you went through
57:59
all the pages that had come out on the delphi case or at least on that rl
58:06
the logan me and there was a lot of information like
58:11
on that affidavit or a search warrant and i did have i wanted to pick your brain a little bit
58:18
it might be kind of self-explanatory but why would
58:23
um with all the things they were looking at and so many i guess coincidences maybe not coincidences why
58:31
um that logan guy wouldn't have been arrested within the last four years that that search warrant was four years ago
58:37
is there a reason that they could have enough evidence but not enough evidence or was he cleared
58:45
well that's a great question and there's a high probability
58:50
that they moved they moved past him okay that's what i was wondering because
58:57
it sounded when you went through everything but then i found out it was a little or no older document is that correct i
59:04
believe yeah it was it was right out like a month after the murders
59:10
exactly and there was so many strange coincidences and you say there are none
59:15
a lot of times and also even the first 15 tips you said i believe like
59:22
uh you know within the first 15 tips is usually can be a suspect or a person of interest
59:29
right right what do you think about the father-son the with the um child
59:36
p that that and the house but yet they have not released anything not do we know if
59:42
there's any connection whatsoever um it was a father and son the son's
59:47
already in jail for possessing child um i don't want to say the word on youtube
59:54
yep no i get it i get it um the i i think you know they're they're still
1:00:00
in play right i think you know right now there's a whole bunch of folks that they're looking at pretty
1:00:06
you know pretty significantly and uh the good news is it sounds like the investigation's still
1:00:12
moving still moving so all right well what part of beantown are you in
1:00:18
um you admitted your family is from south boston originally yeah my grandmother lived here
1:00:32
okay i know where you're at one of my closest friends is uh the number two of boston pd
1:00:38
superintendent gerard bailey rardy giving you a shout out tonight yeah at
1:00:46
night he runs the city i think one of the best police
1:00:51
departments in the country to be honest yeah no he's uh he's the number two
1:00:56
don't do a lot of the stuff they don't make a lot of mistakes now there's a lot of cleanup and a lot of
1:01:02
training i think that was done are you talking are you talking about the whitey bulger era
1:01:11
we're going to leave that one alone one of my favorites
1:01:18
i think a lot of cleanup was done absolutely there you go yeah my grandmother lived on
1:01:25
on cart across from carson beach in the high rise so right up from castle island can't
1:01:32
afford to live in south boston anymore no all my cousins are back there so
1:01:39
there you go they're holding on to some serious property
1:01:47
we've been to the millions now imagine no it's crazy people couldn't wait to leave and now there's people waiting to
1:01:54
pay millions of dollars for those three deckers so it's quite the um but this isn't a call
1:02:00
and show about real estate so but um thank you for telling me about um what your thoughts
1:02:06
were on that case because that kind of got to me the other night he sounded like such an almost too
1:02:12
perfect suspect yeah yeah it was it was a fantastic show
1:02:19
chris uh it really was the way that you covered it but it's just such an odd thing to
1:02:24
leak um especially you know i don't know it's
1:02:32
terrific more coming i've got coop i've got greg cooper coming on
1:02:37
uh in a couple of weeks and we're gonna he just finished adding a couple more chapters to his
1:02:44
book predators and he's gonna weigh in i i called i talked to him today and he's going to
1:02:50
come on the show and for those of you that don't know greg he ran the behavior science unit after
1:02:56
john douglas so greg is he's the man and he he's the
1:03:02
executive director of the cold case foundation anyway he wants to weigh in on that affidavit in his opinion so
1:03:09
well that's going to be an interesting show coming up pretty soon all right
1:03:14
thank you so much it's really nice talking to you and making a connection to beantown
1:03:20
yep go red sox go bruins aren't they in last place
1:03:26
i don't know i just know you like baseball so i said let's go red sox oh they are
1:03:34
baseball right now and fenway is a landmark so
1:03:40
people out here christmas i miss carl
1:03:53
[Laughter] thank you so much for calling
1:03:59
all right take care thank you for taking my call you're welcome bye-bye
1:04:06
boston shout out from boston go ahead caller you're on the air
1:04:15
did i make it yeah you made it in a big way
1:04:24
how are you guys doing you're doing well how are you doing good thank you
1:04:31
to ask um chris if he has any updates on the rose bly case
1:04:38
yes i talked to the detective who's working the case
1:04:44
um he's frustrated that youtube has been throwing false information out there
1:04:51
and he they are focusing on somebody
1:04:56
they're not gonna reveal who it is uh but i'm hoping i can get the sheriff to come on
1:05:03
uh we have a call into his office again today
1:05:08
but i spoke to the lead investigator about four or five days ago and he gave me permission to say what i just
1:05:14
said so awesome i mean that's great news that it's moving forward
1:05:20
exactly yes that's all i had uh thank you guys well that's it what's your favorite baseball
1:05:27
team are they in last place too yeah what
1:05:35
that's baseball that's true good good go cowboy even worse
1:05:42
which what team i missed cowboys oh oh yeah dallas there you go
1:05:49
well we had our moment how about the rough riders they're just outside you
1:05:56
in frisco who who is that that's the minor league team
1:06:03
it's the minority team and it's it's a it's a good show to watch there you go i know the river cats
1:06:10
that's all i know yeah is that our tennis team yeah they yeah they uh they play tennis
1:06:17
on the weekends uh a matter of fact they play tennis with the opposite hand so it's more competitive so if you're left-handed you
1:06:24
have to play right hand if you're right-handed you have to play left-handed you know it's just the whole thing um
1:06:29
so go tennis go hockey you've referenced hockey twice already on this show and i
1:06:39
well as long as you apologize thank you so much for calling caller
1:06:44
avalanche three no that's a lisa she put that on there
1:06:51
hey how's it going good how are you colin where you calling from southeast kentucky oh okay
1:06:59
the home of kentucky fried chicken oh yeah it is corbin
1:07:04
very good all right what can i do for you guys i got a couple of questions
1:07:11
was it like if summer was seen on the walgreens video
1:07:18
surveillance and has had what do you think of this about
1:07:24
jose supposedly you know being found dead well
1:07:29
so i chris i'll first of all the the the
1:07:37
summer being seen on camera i don't know
1:07:42
and chris maybe chris can attest to it but i don't know if she was i know that the
1:07:49
car was i know that candice was i don't know if they could see who was
1:07:54
all in the car or not um that's just something that they're not saying uh they're not gonna they're not
1:08:01
confirming now it's believed that she was if if the accounts of the day
1:08:08
up until that point are correct before i personally before the lying
1:08:13
or the deception starts um yeah and so i mean hunter puts her in
1:08:20
the car uh you have you have grandis puts her in the car
1:08:25
and you ha ally um you know so the thought is yeah that she was in
1:08:31
there but there's nothing there's no actual video confirmation that the public has seen that
1:08:38
puts her uh in that car if if that answers your question yeah that does okay and chris i think
1:08:46
that i mean you and i have had that conversation and that's on target that was pretty much the the gist of it and
1:08:53
um the second part you know
1:08:59
i believe that you know i don't want to step out too far out of my lane or anything like that
1:09:06
but i do believe that i have received confirmation um
1:09:11
and you know nothing's ever 100 but you know it sounds like it sounds like
1:09:17
yeah and it sounds like that it you know unless that a jose
1:09:22
roman has passed um and so
1:09:29
you know i i feel sorry
1:09:34
for anybody that gets thrown into the youtube arena uh not knowing exactly what
1:09:42
can take place here there's a lot of people that
1:09:48
are harsh they're they're mean
1:09:54
vindictive vindictive judgmental all kinds of stuff and
1:10:00
you know the reason and chris you know i'll i'll speak i'll speak for both of us here is that
1:10:08
the reason when chris and i spoke to jose it was because he was being
1:10:14
relentlessly attacked constantly yeah and he wanted
1:10:20
to clear his name of the things that people were accusing him of being he was
1:10:27
desperate he was upset um and we vetted him
1:10:33
and we ran checks on him to the best of our ability
1:10:38
um and what he was saying seemed to you know at least where you
1:10:44
know people were accusing him of being an rso and things like that we never found anything to suggest that
1:10:51
he was he was very honest about his criminal history um and
1:10:57
he was very honest about the fact that uh you know he wasn't a perfect person and that he was
1:11:03
he was trying to get better and so if the reports are correct and i
1:11:10
believe they are but like i said um i'll you know i'll have one foot in the
1:11:16
door one foot out but i do believe the information is true personally
1:11:22
uh it is a it is a tragic tragic ending to
1:11:27
an already sad at times a very sad existence i mean
1:11:32
it's some people just have it so rough whether it comes on comes from them
1:11:38
or whether life has dealt you blows it happens both ways
1:11:43
you know i um i i enjoyed speaking with him the couple times that
1:11:50
i did i thought that he was just i thought he was trying but
1:11:55
i you know i didn't know him uh personally at all so it is kind of hard
1:12:02
for me to to say and and speculate i don't know
1:12:08
if he has passed howe or anything like that and that that will be interesting to to find out
1:12:15
but it's just you know life is life it's it's tough man um what do you what
1:12:21
do you got to say chris well you know let's wait to see what the
1:12:27
official officials say i mean i talked to him a while ago
1:12:33
got him you know focused on getting into father joe's it's a homeless shelter down in san
1:12:40
diego that's where he was and you know when he called
1:12:46
like josh just said you know he wanted to please you know
1:12:52
have us validate that he wasn't the guy that was being you know was being floated around
1:12:58
and uh you know we we tried i mean i i talked to him at length for hours i
1:13:04
know other creators had it as well and helped him and uh you know they're
1:13:10
he i think he's a reflection of a person who wanted to do right and do good
1:13:17
and when we find out what the officials say in relationship to his passing if that's
1:13:24
accurate which it sounds like it is but we won't know that for sure until
1:13:31
the family comes out and says yes jose is now no longer with us um
1:13:37
yeah but if um you know that's the case we have to just deal with it that way
1:13:43
and you know rest you know may rest in peace and
1:13:49
and uh he was trying to get his life back in in order and move forward and and he's the only one that gave us a
1:13:55
true color and and i love that true colors yes i uh when the universe is on schedule when i
1:14:02
said that it said you know you pump that up and i didn't i saw that in the chat and then you
1:14:07
popped it up um pretty amazing you know that you know that he's
1:14:13
in a you know at peace at peace within his heart and uh within
1:14:18
this world that you know god knows there's enough yeah this is why i always preach on my channel and and that's why
1:14:24
i love josh's channel and josh as a as a person this we have enough pain and
1:14:29
suffering in this world and you know the the events of this week and
1:14:34
now him you know we we can do better by getting along with each other you know throw the other
1:14:41
stuff out the window and let's just become you know good people to each other
1:14:46
it doesn't matter who we are what we are it it matters
1:14:51
what we can do for the for the person next to us and vice versa i mean we all have these gethsemanes in our lives
1:14:58
i know i certainly do i mean i you know with this with this shooting i i immediately reflect it back on my own
1:15:04
life and and other things so we've all been there and you know
1:15:09
let's pray that his family's at peace tonight as well and and keep them in our in our hearts
1:15:16
and you know beautifully said chris also i do want to say that
1:15:21
um jose painted an uh a picture of what life was like it it seemed to
1:15:29
match up exactly the way that um
1:15:35
had been reported on by many other people and he really humanized the children
1:15:43
summer uh the way that he talked about him the way that he knew
1:15:49
their names where each one of them stayed in the house uh talking about you
1:15:54
know he just right or wrong good or bad
1:15:59
he sho he gave us a peek inside of that house and what it was like to
1:16:05
live with those children more than the parents ever have or ever
1:16:11
probably will and yeah forever i will be grateful for
1:16:16
him for doing that for us and you know people can have their own opinion if
1:16:22
they've whatever they feel in my heart i felt that he was being
1:16:28
um that he would he actually cared about the kids and and things like that what a tragic story
1:16:35
to even have to be a part of um yeah you know even just from the like he wasn't there
1:16:42
when summer went missing yet people were still calling him a suspect and uh this and that and i
1:16:49
remember i and i even had the clip when the three days after he did that interview his very first interview and
1:16:57
the internet went crazy i remember saying he has no idea what he has done
1:17:05
because the internet is ruthless
1:17:10
and him and i had that conversation after the fact uh that you mean it's just
1:17:17
stuff you don't expect to happen happens and
1:17:23
it took a it took a lot out of them i mean he was he desperately wanted to get in touch with uh with chris and and to
1:17:32
try to vindicate him yeah yeah and it was it
1:17:38
was it was tragic um i felt i felt awful for the guy and so um you know people can have their
1:17:45
own opinions about him i have my own opinion about him and and and that's
1:17:51
you know if he indeed is passing i believe that he is um you know me
1:17:57
may he finally be at peace wherever um and whenever you know he he just when
1:18:04
they lay him down i i'm i was very sad to hear he seemed like a
1:18:10
a nice enough guy you know and there will be people that just sit back and go
1:18:15
you know what uh he was a he he didn't do enough he didn't do this he didn't do that
1:18:22
well you know we we've all we have all been in situations where we
1:18:28
should have done more and we didn't for whatever reason that was
1:18:33
and it's just it's tragic but i i do appreciate um
1:18:39
your call and um thank you so much for the great questions
1:18:46
yeah thanks all right thanks for the great answers all right you have a nice night thanks bud
1:18:52
yeah all right let's see what we got here [Music] take a few more of these
1:19:01
go ahead caller you're on the air hi
1:19:07
hey what can i do for you i'm from i'm from panama city beach florida only
1:19:13
about 20 minutes away from destin um and i heard christmas and they love
1:19:19
destiny so i just want to
1:19:24
thank you for the way you have handled these cases you know this boat
1:19:29
um and that you're not accusatory because it's pretty detrimental
1:19:35
my sister-in-law was murdered by artists too and kennedy lucas
1:19:42
i'm not sure if y'all know who that is who was the name i'm sorry you i didn't
1:19:50
i didn't quite question oh henry lucas who was just
1:19:56
right which is the same person that murdered adam walsh yeah
1:20:02
oh
1:20:11
lucas confessed to hundreds of murders right but they weren't necessarily all confirmed out of
1:20:18
texas yes he did and i actually went to trial in mariana florida
1:20:25
when he entered his plea um for the murder of my sister-in-law
1:20:30
and uh the sheriff in jackson county mcdaniel so anyway long story short we
1:20:37
have experienced true tragedy in our family i'm so sorry my problem three and
1:20:42
a half years was interrogated weekly
1:20:48
volunteered that's why i don't understand this well case it don't matter where he was he
1:20:54
lost his home he lost his job he lost everything he had because there were no suspects
1:21:02
that he cooperated you mean don um
1:21:08
no i'm talking about my brother yes ma'am okay i'm talking about the uh henry lulu
1:21:14
sonata's tool trial my sister-in-law was murdered by them yes yes i got that um
1:21:21
and so they yeah and i am talking about the son of will's case too because they interrogated him but he worked offshore
1:21:27
they would say we need to talk to you tomorrow they were flying in on the helicopter um you know he lost his home and he lost
1:21:35
his job but he wouldn't stop he wanted to find
1:21:41
her killer and i don't understand the whales this is their child
1:21:46
this was only his wife right well and so
1:21:52
that's a conversation that we you know we've had and and unfortunately every department well i
1:22:00
don't say unfortunately it's just how it works every department has their own way that they they go about it right or wrong
1:22:07
um i i personally am very surprised
1:22:13
that they weren't yanked in a lot more than they were
1:22:18
um but you know the the detectives say that they were in constant communication um
1:22:25
at the very beginning and obviously that communication has now gone away yeah and
1:22:33
uh it's not uncommon for people to want to cooperate at first until things don't really start
1:22:40
panning out for them and i don't think that um it's by accident that they've just
1:22:47
completely stopped talking to uh folks oh i don't either
1:22:52
and you know in relationship to their case our case in this little town called wanna say florida
1:22:59
was just like this they an investigator wasn't even heard of they had deputies you know and and
1:23:06
they worked day and night uh but fdle was brought in and once fdle
1:23:14
was brought in they questioned everybody they did it weekly they did it every two
1:23:19
weeks at any point in time he could have just said enough that's what normal people
1:23:25
cooperate you have nothing to hide and cooperate he wanted her murderer found
1:23:33
and it was seven years and for seven years he was tormented but it was worth it and they
1:23:40
they solved the case yes they did yeah we'll see and that is fantastic that it went that
1:23:47
way but let me tell you the difference here is they don't want to find out who's
1:23:53
involved because it probably points right back to them at
1:23:58
every step and turn so obviously we can sit back and go well
1:24:03
why aren't they why aren't they cooperating anymore well probably fear of implication why do you
1:24:09
think that candace hasn't turned on dawn if she could have she very well would
1:24:15
have okay but any implication that that
1:24:21
has to do with dawn is also going to implicate
1:24:27
candace i think we have a better chance the other way i think that there yeah
1:24:34
there could be leverage maybe waiting to be put on
1:24:40
from the other side but you're it's not going to come from candace i just it's just
1:24:45
not and chris has said this before that she is a master manipulator she is
1:24:51
she is she knows how to turn it on my brother was the num uh my brother was the number one suspect he's the one the
1:24:58
founder he's the one that took her to the hospital she was shot in the floor in the house
1:25:04
uh they lived ruling uh there was nothing to
1:25:10
indicate anybody else and his life was for seven years was literal hell that he
1:25:16
never could cooperate right well and that's the difference and that's what a normal human who
1:25:24
even that love somebody would want to happen i mean if if don and candace truly
1:25:30
thought that summer was abducted if they've sure gone about it a funny way
1:25:37
i'll tell you that right now um because that would implicate that
1:25:43
or that would indicate that you know she was alive and taken well
1:25:49
if i if i thought that my child was out there and not just me i think this is the human race like 99 of us
1:25:56
if i thought that my child was out there alive and missing
1:26:01
even not alive it wouldn't matter you're out there you're pounding pavement you're banging on doors you're
1:26:07
doing whatever you can uh we've seen none of that what say you chris
1:26:13
i i want i agree with 100 of everything you've said of everything the caller said
1:26:19
uh i'm sorry that your family went through all of that but i'm really
1:26:24
uh happy that your brother had the the wherewithal to stay the course
1:26:30
and you know yeah both otis and lucas you know there
1:26:36
were some bad characters and you know they became friends like you said you know and otis was responsible
1:26:42
for adam walsh you know killing him and yeah so i'm uh to see the actions of
1:26:49
these parents like you're talking about in my opinion it's inexcusable it's not
1:26:54
understandable like it says uh it was just as people would say my brother's wife it wasn't his child you
1:27:01
don't need to say just when you love somebody you're going to lay down what you're
1:27:06
doing if somebody has murdered a family member at all costs i mean you just do
1:27:13
yeah there you go they're they're not normal people they're just not even her
1:27:19
mother and daddy thought that my brother killed her and that was
1:27:24
hard for him that was hard but in the end you know they were wrong
1:27:30
and but he forgave him that was their daughter they wanted justice it didn't
1:27:35
matter if he was taken down so you know this is just not normal what they're doing it doesn't yeah i know
1:27:42
it's a small sheriff's department we had one too you have to look it up on the map and see where boniface brought it
1:27:48
and they just had didn't even know what an investigator was you know but fd at
1:27:53
least stepped in and they did a good job and it did take years
1:27:59
to resolve it and which ruined a lot of people ruined a lot of family members and ruined a lot
1:28:05
of reputation but everybody was willing to put their reputation at stake it didn't matter
1:28:12
yeah that's i mean everything that you said there is shows compassion and love and being a
1:28:18
normal human even though you're accused of something so heinous
1:28:23
the the first is to find out who did it and then
1:28:29
obviously once you do that he knows that he didn't do it it clears his name and
1:28:34
yeah that even though that took a chunk of his life and and i'm sure it was humiliating and infuriating
1:28:42
and everything uh justice was served and sometimes there is
1:28:48
collateral damage along the way it's it's a terrible thing that he had to go through but
1:28:54
whenever somebody even in even in summer's case even uh
1:28:59
in everybody's case when you go when somebody goes missing or somebody is hurt they look inside the inside circle
1:29:08
first and then move out that's just how it is uh they all you chris would you would
1:29:15
you interview the family first yeah i mean you you
1:29:21
that's homicide 101 101 first day stuff okay
1:29:26
control the scene completely um go ahead it's so amazing the difference of what
1:29:33
they've done there and the way and the evening this happened after he got her to the hospital and then the
1:29:39
sheriff's department got out there he was not even allowed back in his home for two weeks not even to get a change
1:29:46
of clothes right so i think some things with this and
1:29:53
hawkins county probably hasn't been handled exactly right but i understand
1:29:59
the rural atmosphere because it was kind of in the reverse for us you know it was
1:30:04
like almost too serious you know uh we know he did it and you know he
1:30:09
can't even come in this house and get close and uh it was difficult even though everybody was cooperating so for
1:30:16
candice and gone to do the way they have gone they have some form of gift
1:30:23
yeah and and you know actual court and the court of public opinion are two different things
1:30:30
and either both of them can ruin your life um
1:30:35
absolutely it is my brother yeah and sometimes both you know together they can do that and and uh it
1:30:41
is a that's a terrible thing because you know
1:30:47
i i don't know the evidence in the case you know that that you're talking about but i do know what evidence is out there in in this
1:30:54
case and the way that people act and none of it none of that adds up you know what
1:31:00
there's what they say what they do how they go about stuff um but yeah i mean well
1:31:05
the evidence yeah the evidence in our case is there was not it was not he drove up he opened the
1:31:12
door she was laying on the floor he takes her to the hospital she dead on arrival and
1:31:18
from there it was no breaking and entering no nothing she went into the house and they
1:31:26
followed her in the house they were there in the yard so it was nothing
1:31:31
wow well of course they were looking at him you know that yeah
1:31:37
that's scary no wait i'm sorry guys oh i was just gonna
1:31:42
say that i mean unfortunately it's standard you know in every every every way shape and form you know you
1:31:48
you secure the house you secure the scene and you and you yeah and you say hey we need to we need to go talk you
1:31:55
know and obviously uh that's just that's how those
1:32:00
investigations start and sometimes you know i remember the scott peterson
1:32:06
you know yeah everybody was kind of with him until
1:32:13
um until he refused to take a lie detector
1:32:19
and then people were like well that's not cool he should probably be taking a lie detector
1:32:25
test if his wife was missing and he had nothing to do with it well now you have the court of public opinion on you
1:32:32
and the police are going why won't he take why won't he take this polygraph uh
1:32:37
it's not so you know and then it just turned into an avalanche i mean scott peterson
1:32:43
did not cooperate um and then they found out obviously that he had a
1:32:50
a mistress that he was you know and the story goes on and on and on but yeah that's how those things
1:32:55
happen scott was obviously on their radar right away but like well
1:33:01
why don't you take a polygraph yeah i'm not going to do that why not scott don't you want to clear
1:33:07
yourself well you know so well i guess my point in case was
1:33:14
the the collateral damage is the same whether you cooperate or you don't cooperate until
1:33:21
someone is found but public opinion changes
1:33:26
if you cooperate i agree and really for law enforcement it does too
1:33:33
absolutely i mean chris you know more about that than anybody well i tell you what we're in a
1:33:38
transition i think law enforcement's in a huge transition and the more and more oh absolutely
1:33:45
because of the because of the social media aspect of everything i mean we are
1:33:51
we're seeing things today that um you know you talk to a witness and five
1:33:57
minutes later they're texting what they said to the cops and
1:34:03
well he actually went on in life to change his career to be a corrections officer at the local prison
1:34:11
there you go and he has just retired from the sheriff's department so
1:34:17
even though all he went through there was never any ill will he always felt even though he was the target
1:34:24
that everybody was doing their job yeah absolutely well and thank you but anyway
1:34:31
thank you all for taking my call and thank y'all for being honest and not just putting rumors out and you're
1:34:37
staying out because that's what's so important so important well i appreciate you
1:34:42
sharing your story with us and um it it really does put things into
1:34:48
perspective so thank you so much for the call and thank you thank you chris and thank
1:34:54
you josh for what you do thank you yes ma'am thank you
1:35:03
wow that's quite the the ring go ahead caller you're on the air
1:35:12
can you hear me i can can you hear me yes
1:35:17
where are you calling from uh
1:35:25
uh sorry say that again
1:35:32
very good what can we do for you oh hi josh hi chris how you guys doing
1:35:40
doing good thank you um so i have a question um
1:35:47
they said someone said that they had saw summer
1:35:52
uh the tree trimmer guys i was wondering is that true has that been proven or was
1:35:58
that just something somebody said i i i'm under the impression that there
1:36:05
were tree trimmers um but that that there was nothing
1:36:11
substantial to to come from that uh is that your understanding chris
1:36:18
yeah my understanding is um you know there's two there's a couple of things out there that may or may not be
1:36:24
rumors one is the tree trimmer story the other one is uh there was a
1:36:30
trail cam where she was allegedly seen on the trail cam
1:36:36
um you know i don't know if those are viable leads or information or if they're
1:36:42
accurate okay um chris i have another question about
1:36:48
the delphi murders um would you take the clients off the table or would you still
1:36:54
have them on the table i'd still have them on the table yeah because i'm i'm thinking that too
1:37:02
all right um this is true crime and other stuff i just wanted to say hi and i'm a long time listener but first time
1:37:09
caller well thank you so much you know what uh the the thing with the
1:37:15
with declines is is that they did have some sort of
1:37:21
social media connection uh it would be it would be extremely hard to take them off the table until
1:37:27
you you find out for certain who did this because i mean there
1:37:33
first of all those two especially the boy uh keegan
1:37:39
uh is a danger uh he he needs he needs to be locked up
1:37:45
uh the charges that are the fathers know better either i agree i agree and and so
1:37:51
yeah i don't think that you could ever take those two off the table until the case is solved
1:37:56
and and the evidence is overwhelming towards uh
1:38:01
another suspect or suspects that's just my opinion right and i i thought from the very beginning
1:38:09
it had something to do with uh social media or something like that and everybody was always saying no no no and
1:38:16
i'm like i don't know and now it's come out that there was
1:38:21
contact with them so yeah you know it's just it's just
1:38:29
one of the it's it's it has turned into another kind of feeding frenzy the the
1:38:35
media feeding frenzy and speculation you know left and right
1:38:41
and center but um uh nonetheless another
1:38:47
another case that has captivated everybody
1:38:53
and for some yeah i mean i'm from indiana so yeah oh yeah so you're you know
1:38:59
everything you know about what's what the what is crazy about that case is that
1:39:06
you have um video of of the suspect you have audio
1:39:12
of the suspect and it's been five years that i mean
1:39:18
crimes get solved with less all the time and i'm not saying anything about the
1:39:23
police department i believe that they work this thing diligently every single day that it's there that it is their
1:39:30
number one goal to solve this and god bless the work that they're doing
1:39:36
um but it is odd in the fact that you have video of the of the main
1:39:41
suspect that they basically and chris if i'm if i'm wrong here
1:39:47
they i mean they think that whoever that bridge guy is that's the guy that's that's the theory i mean that's
1:39:53
the guy but the problem is who's the guy but you can see him walking you can't see his
1:39:59
face you can see he's wearing boots you can see he's wearing a jacket
1:40:05
sounds like he even hear his voice you know and so what a strange what a strange case and i think that's
1:40:13
that kind of separates it from a lot of other cases is the amount of information that
1:40:18
is out there yet there's still no definitive answers five years yep
1:40:24
so i i think uh it's absolutely um
1:40:30
tragic though nonetheless and um so but i thank you for your call and appreciate it yes thank you for having me all right
1:40:38
thank you thank you all right um i wanted to say uh thanks to your
1:40:43
mods to they rock they're fantastic mods aren't they um
1:40:49
we're very uh fortunate i have like i said we have some crossover mods and i'm sure that we'll be crossing over some
1:40:55
more because they're just the best and his channels grow that's how it works you know so thank
1:41:01
you so much yeah i got 100 i got hundred subscribers i'm happy well congratulations that's good yeah we
1:41:07
started with one keep going it definitely did all right all right bye-bye
1:41:13
all right chris and uh josh thanks for talking to me thank you have a great night
1:41:23
go ahead caller you're on the air hi i'm so happy i got through oh yeah me
1:41:30
too i i i guess i just have um a question for you guys do you think
1:41:37
psychics have anything to do with helping find these you know killers
1:41:44
or murderers you know so
1:41:50
i personally no i don't okay now i don't
1:41:55
maybe i just don't understand it um and i'm not really
1:42:02
it's not something that i've ever really looked into i mean i know that there is a huge psychic community medium
1:42:09
community somebody's going to get mad at me get to say a psychic's not a medium a medium's not a psychic i don't know i don't know
1:42:15
about any of that um but i've always found that there were just
1:42:21
too many rules that that was just me like oh well
1:42:27
um hey you know it's not a i can only do it on this day or this
1:42:33
time or i can only give you so much of information here i've always found that there was just
1:42:38
too many rules with it and but i don't know i mean i believe in the
1:42:44
supernatural though so who knows who knows i believe uh
1:42:50
i believe in i believe in angels and and you know
1:42:55
demons and things like that i i don't know i don't know uh chris you probably feel close to the same as me but i just
1:43:03
i couldn't tell you asking the wrong guy so i have a coffee cup
1:43:10
it's called mcrockpile
1:43:16
and i earned that coffee cup because for some reason i guess i have the personality that
1:43:22
you know the my superiors would come to me and say
1:43:28
hey guess what you get to do and i'm like okay so anyway there's a area
1:43:34
in san diego called harmony grove if you've never heard of it look it up
1:43:41
it's a it's a spiritualistic association and the
1:43:48
gal that used to run it was a woman by the name of rose marie kerr k-e-r-r
1:43:54
her husband's name was jim and he was a firefighter and she was an amazing human being
1:44:01
rosemarie one time had a case where she was asked to do a reading
1:44:08
for a family out of india louisiana
1:44:14
and while on the phone with the family she told the it was the daughter calling about her
1:44:21
mom who was missing and she said i need you to hang up the phone now
1:44:26
and immediately call the police and tell them to go to this intersection
1:44:33
and she gave the intersection and the daughter hung up the phone did
1:44:38
it called the cops the cops went down there and they had an officer just happened to be in the area
1:44:44
and lo and behold her mother's truck went by they stopped the vehicle and her mother
1:44:50
was deceased in the back of the truck and they caught the two guys
1:44:56
now what does that mean right when you're standing in front of
1:45:03
the lady that did that and then she's telling you to dig up
1:45:08
a pile of rocks uh you know and look underneath it for
1:45:14
for somebody that's why i earned the the cup hey
1:45:19
so do i believe that people have spiritual gifts absolutely
1:45:24
do i understand them no way yeah that's where i'm at too yeah and
1:45:30
and would i be a less of an investigator if i shut them off yeah probably because
1:45:37
you just don't know you just don't know and um
1:45:43
you know i'll let a little secret out here on josh's show early on in a case
1:45:50
um i talked to donna from the lori valo case she had actually
1:45:56
called me in on behalf of andy in the morphe case
1:46:01
and i asked her if she knew who rosemary kerr was and she said yeah she was one
1:46:07
of my mentors and i asked her i said are you in harmony grove and she started laughing
1:46:13
it's like what are you a psychic and i was like no i'm just asking you is this where
1:46:19
you're at and she was yeah how do you know about that and i said it's a long story but i'm very
1:46:25
familiar with you know where you're at who you're at and what you're at and now
1:46:30
do i know if these people have gifts i i have no idea
1:46:35
i have no idea do i listen you know uh
1:46:40
the old saying is you know who's the fool the fool himself or the fool who follows
1:46:46
if i don't listen then i could be in left in left case or left field
1:46:52
but if i do listen i could be in right field so the problem is sometimes
1:46:59
the individuals take information provided into the public
1:47:04
and then they turn it around and provide it into the investigation and and you can really get stuck in a lot of
1:47:11
rabbit holes so uh i've always learned to be cautious but
1:47:16
you know disciplined yeah i mean no thank you i hope that
1:47:22
answers your question i i you know like i said uh i'm not
1:47:27
i first of all i'm kind of scared of the supernatural just in general like the
1:47:32
whole you know the conjuring they have a corn dog well
1:47:38
and you don't you didn't i mean like the star wars you know what is the laser
1:47:43
if they come from the other side with a corn dog josh is like i hear you
1:47:49
i'm coming i hear you i'm coming i'm gonna i'm gonna haunt you with a corn dog
1:47:54
and uh and there's corn dog emo here come the
1:48:00
corn dog emojis chris they come blow them up there everybody lab rats some corn dogs up there for him because
1:48:06
he's seeing spirits with corn dogs yeah tonight look if if
1:48:13
a spirit shows up with a box of corn dogs we can hang out and we could talk cases
1:48:20
it's just keep the corn dogs coming but it's your magic wand
1:48:27
okay that that's an expectation now we have to see this i will i will forever
1:48:33
regret not turning my camera off while crushing those corn dogs and all
1:48:38
in the way only my dog should have been able to see um
1:48:43
but he's right i i was i was double fisting him i was playing air drums
1:48:52
and uh it was uh it was yeah you heard it gone in 60 seconds that movie was based about
1:48:58
me eating two corn dogs but um yeah i've seen a dyson work
1:49:06
i'm the dyson i'm the vacuum for corn dog you know
1:49:12
whoa i'll be honest with you i haven't had a corn dog since then
1:49:17
oh no you you need to keep that tradition alive actually that's not true i just remembered i had one the other
1:49:22
day but it it's been a while i haven't been going hard on those corn dogs they were
1:49:29
so good though and you're just jealous because you can't eat them so for that is correct and so i have no other option
1:49:36
but to slam yeah yeah you you make fun of me but uh somebody just asked for the flare and of course i give it i give you
1:49:42
the flare thank you caller so much it was a great question absolutely
1:49:49
thank you thank you have a good night guys you too you too and sorry you got caught up in that we apologize it was
1:49:55
christmas that's okay we're grateful for very entertaining thank you for being a rat elaborate
1:50:01
bye-bye bye-bye oh caller go ahead you're on the air
1:50:17
are you there caller houston we have a problem
1:50:26
i know you're there because i can hear you you just don't know that i can hear you are you eating a corn dog
1:50:33
hi can you hear me oh yeah i can can you hear me oh hi hi uh josh and chris i'm a big fan of
1:50:40
both of you guys thank you um probably me more yeah because there needs to be at least
1:50:46
another hockey reference um i live right in the middle of the montreal canadiens and the boston bruins chris
1:50:52
oh wow go no [Music] just kidding
1:51:01
just uh calling as a fan um but i did have a question for chris a while ago he
1:51:07
recommended a a book that we all should read and i and i read it and it was tremendous and turns out it's on the top
1:51:14
of every to be read list ever and i missed it somehow but it was man's um search for meaning oh yes yes
1:51:22
yes so not for you tonight but i was wondering if at any point you could
1:51:28
give us a book list more i need more reading
1:51:33
sure sure i um i'll talk to my karen and we'll put something up
1:51:38
that's uh one of my all-time favorites between that book and all your parables
1:51:45
that you share in a community page i just really appreciate your positive um outlook it's been amazing
1:51:51
thank you thank you i can only imagine josh is right with us right we love it
1:51:58
he's right with us we brought him over he's here but he was already there he's
1:52:03
just kind of tucked in the background he's real humble yeah big time
1:52:08
super humble yeah am i doing okay crystal wants to know
1:52:13
i don't know are you i hope so [Laughter]
1:52:19
see nobody ever nobody ever asks me that that's why i know that you're beloved is
1:52:25
because like um people like oh how's chris doing it's like yeah you know i stubbed my toe last
1:52:32
week but thanks for asking um but you know it's it's fun it's whatever
1:52:37
you know that's that comes with age
1:52:42
i don't i don't know if that's necessarily true i mean you think so
1:52:47
i don't know i don't let the old man in i learned that from a very good friend of mine his name is
1:52:53
john strykemyer they call him tilt and uh if you guys uh ever want a really
1:52:59
good book go read his it's it's the um sog chronicles sog chronicles but he was
1:53:06
a one of the first green berets in vietnam and um he's an amazing human being like
1:53:15
i'm just privileged to call him a friend and mary look at this here you go yeah i see it i
1:53:21
sure do what an honor gonna name a corn dog after me there you go
1:53:26
the josh dog um
1:53:32
yeah i don't know what a good name for you know what we should do we should have a poll
1:53:37
uh we'll do it on the community page we'll think of a couple names and then we can vote how's that i'm sure that
1:53:43
it's gonna be the most thoughtful and respectful name that we can think of uh that will honor me for
1:53:49
forever so sure i'm into it but a homemade corn dog sounds
1:53:54
delicious mary you're amazing sounds delicious amazing
1:54:00
um you know 7-eleven used to have the corn dogs where they would inject like cheese like
1:54:08
like um uh what is it uh it was like jalapeno cheddar cheese like
1:54:15
it was and it was like 700 calories or 800 calories for one little corn dog
1:54:24
but it was like the best somebody hung up
1:54:29
[Music] i don't know what happened we i think we lost our we lost our other caller hello
1:54:47
i was crawling through
1:54:57
is your computer or do you have some background noise on
1:55:02
yeah probably
1:55:08
hang on i'll go where i don't have how's that is this better it is better
1:55:16
okay uh i'm a fan of you josh and chris mo
1:55:22
i don't listen to a lot of the youtubers because chris is the more legitimate person so i listen to him
1:55:28
but i do have a question do you find it odd that both jose and another man died
1:55:35
within close proximity of each other well like i said i'm i'm not even 100
1:55:44
i mean i'm you know i'm 99 sure that the the information on jose is true but
1:55:51
um i don't even who's the other who's the other
1:55:57
person uh dawn's co-worker did he die in san diego running that
1:56:04
said he's the one that come up on the hill and took summer did he die
1:56:09
in san diego they said that he died and then within a
1:56:16
week of in that supposedly them saying he died that jose had passed on
1:56:23
yeah you know i'm not familiar with anybody else that had passed um uh is somebody
1:56:30
is it are you talking about jerry they said it was somebody that worked
1:56:36
with dawn i don't know it was another youtube channel that i called it when i was scrolling today on youtube so
1:56:44
yeah i may not be true now i don't think there's any grand conspiracy out there i don't think that
1:56:52
jose passing has uh anything to do with
1:56:57
the case uh i don't think any i just um
1:57:02
i just i live about 20 minutes from where summer live
1:57:08
because i live in greenville kind of thing okay gotcha
1:57:13
no i don't i don't go don't borrow john for city kingsport that's how it goes but yeah yeah i don't think that yeah i
1:57:20
truly don't have any feelings that there's somebody out there snuffing
1:57:27
i wouldn't think it is weird and it is a shock but you
1:57:33
know honestly a lot of these people that are involved in this case
1:57:39
have terrible habits they have had rough lives um
1:57:45
and you know like if somebody were to say tomorrow
1:57:50
that and i'm not saying that you know if dawn had a stroke or something that
1:57:55
wouldn't shock me in the least i mean he smokes he drinks he does drugs he's
1:58:01
late 50s um you know and and i i think that a lot of that
1:58:08
you find a lot of that in this case there's a lot of drinking and smoking and and drug doing i don't i don't know
1:58:14
what happened to jose but um uh but i know i don't think that it's
1:58:20
connected at all what about you chris well i've been following it since the day i received the amber alert and that
1:58:26
little girl never left my mind wow so i followed chris through all of
1:58:31
it and and you and i'm like chris
1:58:36
i just think canvas is behind a lot of it
1:58:41
and i think that it was an accident and they hit it
1:58:47
i mean is that still chris is that kind of your theory still i haven't left the house
1:58:54
and now yep has she you know does she come to the house was she in the house
1:59:01
i don't know but at something something went down in that environment and i think the
1:59:07
screen they heard was probably kansas according to grand mall maybe yeah
1:59:13
you're in god's country out there in tennessee and and thank you so much for your uh support of uh both josh and i
1:59:20
we're grateful well we appreciate you all and we'll
1:59:25
keep you all in our prayers thank you so much thank you for calling have a great night all right good night good night all
1:59:32
right so um let's see here we've gone two hours here we beat chris
1:59:37
up chris has beat me up and uh this'll we'll go ahead and take one
1:59:44
final call here um and uh don't worry i don't believe this will be
1:59:49
the last time so if you don't get through it's gonna be okay um
1:59:55
and maybe and chris after we take this phone call there's a couple questions that i
2:00:00
put on there that you know we'll take but um okay uh caller you're on the air go ahead
2:00:07
hello hi how are you hi good thanks i get so excited when i hear a sweet voice
2:00:13
on the other end like not somebody going hey josh you big dummy you know
2:00:18
waiting for that one but uh that was saved for chris
2:00:23
yeah exactly exactly let them have it
2:00:30
but i'm calling from northern illinois and i'm a big fan of you guys
2:00:37
um i just have an observation i want your opinion on either of you um
2:00:44
the the whole thing with summer helping grandis plant those
2:00:50
flowers i i don't think that that's true because
2:00:55
candace took pictures of everything and there's no pictures
2:01:02
of that and i think that that would be an endearing moment to take pictures of
2:01:09
where are the pictures of it yeah she seemed to document every little
2:01:14
thing that that they would do when it comes to you know when you talk about people
2:01:21
instagram it's not real life you know because you don't get to see the bad moments you only see the good ones and she
2:01:27
definitely uh posted the good ones
2:01:32
look i think that whole thing's made up i don't think that they were planting anything who plants succulents
2:01:38
um yeah and i don't know what were they trying to do spruce up their yard uh that yard was
2:01:44
that yard was worse than when chris showed up i mean and and chris when you showed up
2:01:49
how bad was it oh it was horrific it was it was horrible and you're right
2:01:55
i mean i agree with you with it it's like let's plant these cactus
2:02:01
we got a big day ahead yes yeah it's it is weird so i've i've always thought
2:02:08
and like most people that that was that was a time fill that was just something that she could say
2:02:14
that kind of stretched the time out the fact of the matter is from 2 30 to 6 35
2:02:20
nobody knows what's happened what really happened except grandis
2:02:26
candace and i'm sure the boys know a bit more i don't know what they know
2:02:31
but um you know i don't really i leave that up to
2:02:36
the officials to to sort that out with them but there was a lot of there seemed to be a
2:02:42
lot of people at home when she went missing and i don't i just i mean who yeah cactus
2:02:50
yeah right middle of summer and and she had her wash her hands i don't
2:02:57
think those kids have ever washed their hands i mean i it's probably rude to say well if they did they what they weren't
2:03:03
directed by their mother to do it probably right right um so
2:03:09
yeah anyway that's just my thought on it yeah i think that it was nothing more
2:03:14
than a a story filler i mean you get nobody wants them to say oh you know
2:03:21
candace isn't going to say you know what like from 2 30 to 3 30 i was drunk and high and and wasn't paying attention to
2:03:28
anything that's not going to go over very well with the police because if she would have said that she very well could have
2:03:33
been arrested right then and there for neglect uh similar to the big speed case where the father said
2:03:39
that he left the kids at home while he went out to to do whatever
2:03:45
on more than one occasion well the kid is missing he admits to that and they lock him up for child endangerment she
2:03:52
made sure because she's dealt with cps before her story she made sure
2:03:57
that that they weren't gonna nail her that day for something she wasn't gonna say i got i passed out
2:04:05
or i was zoning out or i had started drinking or i was off doing things i shouldn't have been doing she tried to
2:04:12
make herself seem like the perfect mother the helicopter mom walked her over to the steps blah blah blah i think
2:04:20
it's all made up and i and um i think that most
2:04:26
people feel that way just like yeah i feel that way yeah yeah absolutely yeah so it's just and i do
2:04:34
believe that she went missing that day just because there's so many people that did
2:04:39
see her i mean it is confirmed by many people that they saw her on june 15 i just saw
2:04:44
somebody in the chat say that they weren't convinced that she went missing on june 15th i guess anything's possible except there
2:04:51
would probably be about seven or eight different people that would be lying to
2:04:57
i mean if that's what they told the investigators that they're all in cahoots where they
2:05:03
say well let's all say that we saw summer that day well that would equal to a
2:05:08
grand conspiracy and i just i don't see that either i think it was an isolated incident i mean if you listen to what
2:05:14
hunter says he says flat out i think they did something with her because she went missing not that long after
2:05:21
um they dropped me off and and then so if they dropped him off say he he figures
2:05:26
around 2 2 30 well she wasn't reported missing until 6 30.
2:05:33
that four hours isn't really like it's not something somebody would say oh she went missing a short time after four
2:05:39
hours is a significant amount of time i believe that she went
2:05:45
missing much earlier in the day and that something was done with her much earlier in the day
2:05:50
um yeah it just gave him plenty of time to to do whatever they needed to do with
2:05:56
her yeah whether you know hand her off to somebody or you know bury her somewhere well see
2:06:03
that's the other accident happened the the handoff theory uh the only person they could have
2:06:08
handed her off to i mean within reason would have been dawn
2:06:14
um right you know people say oh an unknown no no no no no
2:06:19
no everybody has said this from day one and and i know people were upset with the dr phil episode or whatever
2:06:26
uh dr phil flatout said that he wasn't buying what candice was selling that she has more information
2:06:32
than what she said and he said when this case is solved you're gonna know who
2:06:38
uh did this it's gonna it's it you're gonna know them they're to be a close
2:06:44
they're going to be close to me that was just telling because
2:06:50
i know that he was i guess he was placating them so candace wouldn't walk off stage
2:06:55
but he didn't let her off the hook in my opinion you know and and so every everybody kind of feels the same way
2:07:01
that candace has much more knowledge um and if not just directly responsible
2:07:08
and i still believe that it is a hundred percent possible that don doesn't know
2:07:15
it's possible candace is not um
2:07:20
candace is fully capable of of pulling like lying like this to her
2:07:27
grave i mean she just she's fully capable of it um anybody that pulls a shotgun on a cps
2:07:33
worker you know they'll kind of do anything you know
2:07:38
she's got quite the rap sheet so um but thank you for that anybody that could you know put on the act like she
2:07:45
did with mary that night crying and crying i mean come on she deserves the academy
2:07:52
award for that well there you go with the master manipulation stuff i i
2:07:58
yeah i've said it before what's that yeah exactly and the oscar
2:08:03
goes to you know one of the ones just a dovetail into what josh just said
2:08:10
i think one of the challenges here is let's hypothesize that uh dom was at work right
2:08:16
and that his phone shows that he was there and then he comes home hey but where was he
2:08:23
there's a gap between that you know that time frame between 2 30 and 6 30
2:08:30
or 3 30 and 6 30 depending on what time frame everybody runs with
2:08:35
but either way they're within an hour of each other well you know what happens in that time frame
2:08:42
if you're in construction at that time do we know that he wasn't home one of the things
2:08:47
that's always bothered me is the statement about the boys went with dawn
2:08:52
to work and yet we have the boys at home you
2:08:58
know playing all the these video games and stuff and so that was a complete you know
2:09:03
flip-flop that that in itself and then of course we get to this
2:09:08
you know i you know just forgive them you know just don't you know don't hold grudges don't
2:09:14
you know don't don't worry about it god will do this and this and that and you know we'll see her again on the
2:09:20
resurrection i see her buried i see her in the dungeon and all that stuff not to rehash what he said again but
2:09:27
you know all of that okay where does that come from up here
2:09:32
you know how do these types of sentences get to the forefront uh when your daughter you know
2:09:39
immediately goes you know got gone and so this gap that don has created here in my
2:09:47
opinion it has what has always kept me at the house as it's a clarity of focus
2:09:54
of you know don't don't chase the things that we don't know stay with what we know and
2:10:03
this is why the significance of that statement from from candace that evening when she was
2:10:09
intoxicated i want to tell them and when you watch the
2:10:15
dr phil show again and you know they say to him well done we we think you've done nothing
2:10:22
and you just watch him you know explode with the light internally okay
2:10:28
well that's that's classic in relationship to not understanding there are two lanes
2:10:36
going here and i've always remember we've always talked about two trains right josh
2:10:41
yep we've got the summer train on one track and we've got the dawn train on the other track and at some
2:10:48
point do they cross into each other do they merge do they merge into the same station
2:10:54
and this is why jeannie and mary and all of this other
2:10:59
you know significant sa information the violence of it
2:11:05
is critical it's critical because now when they
2:11:12
when the train comes to the tunnel iecps
2:11:17
and cps says hey you're not about you're not going to talk about this your honor put a gag order on this case to talk
2:11:24
about the kids the other kids is that is that a significant piece
2:11:30
of you know summer story in my opinion absolutely because that shut pruitt down and he
2:11:38
came out and said it he says you know it's kind of a dicey scenario here where i'm dealing with now
2:11:43
attorneys on the kids side which is kind of bled over into summer's investigation
2:11:48
therefore what i think they're doing is they've stepped back and they're they're
2:11:53
taking you know a very cautious approach
2:11:58
but i i am still convinced that candace knows much more
2:12:04
than she's revealing and uh i think at some point that information is going to present
2:12:11
itself because you can't hold out forever you can't hold up forever
2:12:16
uh even they're working on her sister's case so but anyway that's just my opinion thank you
2:12:22
for listening well thank you for uh letting me call in and mary if you are
2:12:27
still listening god bless you and uh i have great respect for you
2:12:33
and your sister that's very nice yeah and zac zanza i i i do believe that don
2:12:39
knows also yeah i i just said you know i believe
2:12:45
i see i wouldn't be surprised if candace was the
2:12:51
lone person that was actively trying to cover it up but at some point
2:12:57
you would think that he would have to know that i don't know what that point is uh but
2:13:03
you know the odds of him not knowing anything it's just you know yeah they know i think they all know i
2:13:10
think so too i i just and that's why none of them are talking or like the the caller earlier
2:13:16
that was talking about uh the seven years of the man's life that was ripped apart and they found the
2:13:21
real killer you know they're not actively searching for anybody um
2:13:26
and if if she was really abducted that that's what they would be doing but uh thank you so much for calling and i
2:13:32
appreciate it yep thank you goodbye
2:13:38
all right and the objection
2:13:43
[Music] abduction thought right with don saying
2:13:50
i know she is abducted okay right well here's the elephant in the living room okay
2:13:57
share that with us
2:14:02
help us know help help me understand that because i asked him i can't tell you how many times
2:14:08
how do you know that and another thing that he would always
2:14:13
say is um well i always knew something bad was gonna
2:14:18
happen to her all right well how'd you know that well either
2:14:25
either it goes back to him having psychic abilities
2:14:31
or he saw what kind of care candace was providing his children while
2:14:39
he was at work and by the way if that's if if he really felt that
2:14:45
upset about it about about her not taking care of the kids the way that he
2:14:51
didn't see that the way that he thought was necessary uh the fact that he would just leave him
2:14:57
or leave them with her is neglect in itself and uh he's culpable of everything as
2:15:03
well um you know i mean if i came home and uh my my wife was nodding off with a
2:15:09
cigarette in her hand and you know drinking and there's kids all over the house i mean i
2:15:16
would have a serious problem with that and rightfully so i think in either way if a
2:15:22
mother came home and saw a husband doing that and it happens folks it does happen look i mean
2:15:28
you know it unfortunately it happens but you have to put your children first
2:15:35
and none of that seems to have happened in this case but anyway chris i want to
2:15:41
thank you so much for coming on and um this was a this was a awesome idea i i
2:15:49
really truly and thank you to all the callers so respectful and nice and um
2:15:55
it's fantastic we got to do it again absolutely any time any time all right chris well uh thank you so much anything
2:16:02
you want to say before you leave um no
2:16:08
to get get uh get a get a name for your corn dog
2:16:13
and i think we should get like you know davey crockett hatch
2:16:18
for your merchandise with a little corn dog hanging off the back of it like a little tail like they do in disneyland
2:16:24
in front right you know and you can call them uh you know
2:16:30
corn hats or whatever you want to call it but i think it needs to that'd be great merch so with that my
2:16:36
