This and That Double Speak, Word Salad and a side of, WAIT WHAT!? Arm Chair Detective Interviews Benny Keyz

remember the time BK somehow got a spot on the Arm Chair Detective? Good times! lies and tells, and tales of heroism over a Slow Cooked Beef malarkey, and a big bowl of word salad, slathered in the house dressing, cheezie, fresh squeezed logorrhea. It comes with a side of transcript and a lesson in victims advocacy, and an even better lesson on how to tell when BK is trying too hard, and lying to someone who he perceives as a true alpha male, some one he wants to emulate or ameliorate him self. Funny he also talks about his huge investigative team and CSI Crowdsourced Illuminations, and oh my it's just full of bull.

What happens when a Chiari malformation goes untreated?

A CM can block the normal flow of this fluid and cause pressure within the head that can result in mental impairment and/or an enlarged or misshapen skull. Severe hydrocephalus, if left untreated, can be fatal. Hydrocephalus can occur with any type of Chiari malformation, but is most commonly associated with Type II.

Currently, no test is available to determine if a baby will be born with a Chiari malformation.  Since CMs are associated with certain birth defects like spina bifida, children born with those defects are often tested for malformations.  However, some malformations can be seen on ultrasound images before birth.

Many people with Chiari malformations have no symptoms and their malformations are discovered only during the course of diagnosis or treatment for another disorder.  The doctor will perform a physical exam and check the person's memory, cognition, balance (functions controlled by the cerebellum), touch, reflexes, sensation, and motor skills (functions controlled by the spinal cord).  A doctor also may order imaging tests to diagnose a Chiari malformation or show hydrocephalus or bone abnormalities that might be associated with the disorder.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW - Benny Keyz "friend of Monica Sherrod" tells us the truth.

11,506 views  Streamed live on May 30, 2021  Tonight, AD will interview Benny Keyz, who has been in direct contact with Monica on a daily basis.  The information "truth"  Benny will provide will hopefully help you understand the dynamics of this horrendous event.  You will meet a true victims advocate.

Benny started out as a investigative journalist but quickly realized he was a victims advocate at heart.  His journey with Monica will prove how important it is to keep the jury pool from being tainted.  YouTube has destroyed many cases because of false tabloids.

Benny met Monica about 12 days ago. (May 30, - 12 = May 18, Cash Gernon was found dead on May 15th)

DALLAS, TEXAS: In the aftermath of the shocking kidnapping and murder of Texas toddler Cash Gernon, the Internet has broken into frenzied speculation surrounding the motive behind the heinous crime.

1:04

boom hello my name's alan i am the armchair detective uh from time to time

1:10

there comes a crime that flashes across our true true crime community

1:16

and takes root not very often i mean there's murders every day and there's children's murders every day

1:22

but every so often something happens that we go wow we we want to know more we want other players we want to know

1:29

everything about this case and this is such a case with them dear little cash gannon and

1:36

his his brother carter you know such a sad story uh we've been touching on it for a week now

1:44

but tonight we're very lucky to be joined by a guest who's actually known as boots on

1:50

the ground he's very well known in the area of dallas where this happened benny keys with the zed is our guest

1:57

tonight and i'm sure you're going to find this a fascinating exploration into

2:03

that area of america how it works where you've got poverty drugs all sorts

2:09

of deviants milling around a very dangerous area but what's it like to live there

2:16

what's this like when there's crime you report it and it doesn't get taken on by the police and then

2:23

with hindsight like poor little cash could his life have been saved as this guy had previous

2:30

he's wearing an ankle bracelet even days before there's rumors of

2:36

serious misdemeanors by brown let's get to the truth tonight here on

2:43

uh youtube now because of the sensitive nature of the subject we will be taking it into patrons so

2:50

we're going to do it for just over an hour on here then uh benny and i are going to take a 15-minute

2:56

break and come back on patreon you need to join patreon now to get used to how it works it's half price

3:02

especially for this subject okay so without further ado let's go live to um dallas

3:10

and bring on our guest tonight and this is benny good evening benny

3:18

good evening mr a.d thank you for having me oh oh thanks for calling i feel like elvis

3:24

call me sir in that yeah very good manners you have it's the southern way

3:30

it's a southern way right dallas texas i've always wanted to go to the southern way jr man um this is gonna be

3:38

just all summer walk by this is gonna be a long show that's right with you i don't know you've got a barbecue to go

3:43

to so we're on pretty soon i'm at one but i'm at one but this is you know this

3:51

is always priority right

right

3:57

first of all let's find out a bit of a channel let's give that some publicity first please

4:03

sure um i've been doing this now for almost six months um i

4:09

started out uh with the ideal that i was gonna do the sexual predators online because we

4:15

have a real bad problem here and i got really into it and realized um i had the

4:22

epiphany that i i wished a lot of guys would the only thing we do when we do that for

4:28

for youtube is we make the we make it smarter um that's an actual fact so

4:35

i then was exposed to the cal city case regarding oren and arson west

4:40

and um and it started

4:45

okay and the rumors you're gonna quit yesterday you were so fed up with youtube that you're gonna

4:51

quit yesterday you're okay with that now

yeah you know i fortunately i work with

4:58

um a great group of people at uh the open source intelligence group and a lot of what they're doing with me

5:06

is behavioral modification um it's it's i get caught in these seemingly

5:11

um no-win situations and and i'm such i have such a grasp on reality i i don't

5:18

care all right i'll just be honest with you

all right now the other main point about you is

5:24

that you had a serious head injury tell us a bit about that uh benny

5:31

i was born with um a grade three arnold chiari malformation um and i i didn't know it until i had a

5:39

fall due to uh uh city negligence and um it essentially activated uh the arnold

5:45

chiari and so now i have all sorts of of pain issues and nerve issues and

5:51

and uh and you know quite frankly um you know i'm passionate about something that

5:56

filter goes away um

and that was something that was post um post fall and and you're gonna have that

6:04

rectified shortly with this pretty serious operation right they're going to rectify that for you

yes sir yes sir

6:12

good luck with that from all of us and keep us informed when will this be is it like in the near future

near future yeah the in the

6:19

next four to six weeks a.d

yeah okay well good luck fingers crossed for you

6:26

right so now we know a bit about you and where you're coming from now are you like me i suffer from dyslexia

6:32

but i see a bigger picture in my mind i feel you're similar i feel you pick up with something and it

6:38

takes you over and you have a passion for it and you run with it and and it's there on your mind all the time something like

6:45

that i

i as well i have dyslexia um

6:51

and so i i've suffered with that all through school and it was a problem for me until i was

6:58

able to look at the bigger picture and then break it down into a formula and i've been successful that way

7:04

yeah yeah yeah is it i take it as a gift i can see things other people can't see i feel absolutely

7:09

you know you know when you're looking at something because you don't can't see the words you actually see everything i do anyway

7:16

i guess you're the same so in the case we're going to talk about tonight give us a bit of a background

7:21

about the area where the crime was please

um duncanville was duncanville is

7:28

regarded as the um the basketball capital of texas

7:34

um it's uh it's it's big in sports um just a few years ago duncanville was um

7:42

they had a second largest high school in in the united states um they recruit players there and and it

7:48

was kind of also known um you know 35 years ago it was like your your typical tech bedroom community

7:56

um you know you're you're it was just a really nice place to grow up um and then you had um so you have

8:03

duncanville proper right and then right across clark avenue you have what's called the

8:10

woods and that's essentially effectively the the start of dallas county so that was different

8:17

policing also unfortunately a different um socio-economic

8:23

so a lot of the things that happened um right across the street um they they didn't happen in

8:30

duncanville so it was always that place where you know if you lived on the duncanville

8:36

side you know your mom and dad were always like don't go into the woods after night and it's it has kind of always had that

8:46

okay now let's move on um how did you get to know cash's mum

8:54

and when um about 12 days ago approximately

9:01

um i just kept seeing i'm in the true crime community um not nearly as

9:08

and nearly as handsome as mr a.d

9:16

um i saw a fellow texan um in the media and she was free she

9:23

wasn't she hasn't been in prison she hasn't been charged and so that was really for me and i reached out and i

9:32

immediately knew right there um a.d that i was not an investigative crime

9:38

journalist and that i was in fact a victim advocate um and that's where my passion is and now i

9:45

know my lane um and and it's it works for me right now

9:51

that's brilliant yeah so we know a bit about you we know the pension survey um monica

9:59

how is she doing how often do you speak to her

10:05

not well not well oh well you know you you you imagine all of the um all of the

10:12

different channels and platforms and and you know mainstream media as well is just continuing to to

10:20

the agenda um and every you know the kids are now glued to it um

10:25

you know the the schoolmates are glued to it you know there's just this new phenomenal

10:31

network that that moves even faster than our youtube in their community i mean every new

10:38

thing that's you know the next level of atrociousness um

10:44

you know and they've it's disheartening it's full of misinformation lies and

10:50

treachery isn't it local local media and not local media local social media you know

10:56

and and somebody reads it and they believe it before you know it

wasn't she insulted in the street what

11:01

did she get a black eye or something um was she she picked her dogs up out of

11:07

the fence

correct and while she was there just a

11:12

random lady that that had uh you know been exposed to the agenda online

11:18

um chose attacker um you know sucker puncher and and do the whole nine and that lady was

11:24

um she was remanded to um to the to the county jail

11:29

right have you spoken to cameron are you are you on good terms with cameron as well

11:37

um i have spoken um i've spoken to all the children not individually but as a group

11:45

and just i just told them to try to refrain from first of all watching the media um

11:52

and secondly from from interacting with the media um because it's

i you know i know how i

11:59

act when i see salacious things about me on the web and and i can't imagine what you're going through so um oh they're not used to it

12:06

are they you and i actually got grease to it slowly no

yes yes

12:13

i've spoken to him a couple of times i'm very short and brief um i spoke to him at the balloon just

12:19

very briefly um and then when i came over one time

12:24

i spoke to him at the front door and just told him you know man you know my cameron

12:31

was a big draw for me to this case because i grew up you know mom always said don't go to the

12:37

woods so i always was in the woods um and so i you know i learned a lot of

12:43

life in that neighborhood i also was you know a young caucasian guy um going to the exact same

12:50

schools that that um cameron's come through and all his is

12:55

so i had a real affinity for for those kids automatically he seems a

13:02

genuine guy i don't know much about him i'm going to judge a character i'm not i'm not against him i think he's he's

13:09

upset i'm genuinely upset about all this

yes that'd be correct assesment how many

13:16

people actually live in that house at the time of the murder how many people were living there at that time we got

13:22

the twins correct who else

it's weird

13:29

it fluctuated between seven depending on um trevor's uh

13:35

you know and friends from around you know but there was always seven to nine people there but

13:40

it's the bedroom or the the the house

brother pardon me um it's effectively a six bedroom house

13:47

the way it's laid out is it is it six bedroom house

so we've got the grandfather all the

13:55

time permanent right the grandfather lives there permanent

um

14:01

i don't think he's no he's not permanent no no um

i think that there's other

14:06

siblings right

yes there's talk of a daughter yes sir

14:12

um she's not mentioned anywhere we know cameron's 18 the boys are four

how old is his daughter

14:22

um she's uh she's just getting into her teenage years but you know she's she's

14:30

been safely kept away from it and and um you know at least is uh

14:36

you know they're they're enthused about that

would she be entrusted on looking after

14:43

the twins at certain times like when a mum was shopping and things would just would she like be the babysitter or she too young

14:54

yeah i think that it was it was um it was a team effort you know the whole family um they there

15:00

wasn't any one person that was designated over the boys it was everyone loved the boys equally and

15:07

and they were just part of um you know part of the squad part of the crew and she told them that she cash is cash

15:15

and carter go ahead uh they they're loved by her

15:20

right she talked to them as if they were her children

right oh absolutely

15:26

was that right

absolutely sir yeah we have a time delay

15:34

so just you at home when i speak there's a delay so i don't know why that is sometimes we get it sometimes we don't but that's

15:39

where we are so it seems strange for you replying but i understand there's a delay

um brown's mum couldn't deal with brown

15:50

and his brother alex just so sent them to stay with monica's mum and stepdad

15:58

leslie and kurt pinkerton

who's alex

um so i get

16:07

alex is daring um is darian's younger brother um he's he's just over a year

16:15

um older or younger pardon me okay so

16:24

is it true that brown's stepped out as a cop is that true

yes

16:31

yes sir me but he couldn't keep him in hand heavily

he's wearing an ankle bracelet now what does that mean in your town ankle

16:38

bracelet you have to be in by a certain time every night or something

16:44

yeah you're um you know under stipulation of release to an ankle monitor um you have all the same stipulations um

16:51

in in sometimes depending on the case you have case suspicio specific

16:57

installations um so i i i you know he had those stipulations as well as

17:02

the the extra supervision of the monitor um so it's it's a very dynamic situation

17:09

with what we know as uh brown's you know very recent past offenses that he was certainly

17:17

attempted to be um you know at least probation violated

17:23

uh you know he he had done enough before all of this to be sitting somewhere with

17:28

with no bond um essentially

what can you tell us i mean like we hear

17:33

all these stories we know he sneaked in the house when monica was shopping

17:39

we know he he was under uh some sort of a arrest for trying to steal a little girl

17:45

what can you tell us about that

correct um so the

17:52

dallas morning news i believe it was uh two days ago i think they they really

17:57

report actually let me let me preface it um monica she called me and she said hey

18:02

somebody from the dallas morning news just called me and and they were trying to trick me

18:08

into saying that darian brown was crazy um and she hung up on on the reporter a

18:14

couple hours later he releases a segment saying that um you know at the time that uh mr brown

18:20

was detained at the scene or whatever for for the attempted adduction

18:26

abduction of the little girl um you know the news wants you to believe that monica ran

18:31

down there and pleaded with the officers not to uh or with the homeowner rather

18:37

not to to press charges because he was you know um and that's not that's not the

18:42

situation um you have a woman that has her own um checkered history and uh you know the

18:50

public wants you to believe that she had enough power judiciously um in order to

18:56

have you know a a uh attempted abduction and an assault in a burglary um just washed away um

19:04

you know monica does not have that power in her life or she would officialize it so uh you know you have

19:10

to start looking past that to you know dad that's in law enforcement um

i see yeah i see

19:19

so we know cash went missing around around was it 5 a.m right

19:24

was that the time roughly correct and we know that it wasn't reported till

19:31

11 a.m is that right uh six hours later

19:38

uh right after the 10 a.m mark yeah between 10 and 11 what why what what what is um what does

19:45

monica say why it took so long to report i mean it's five hours

19:52

um so cash was typically the the alarm clock for

19:58

[Music] um carter kind of he was a later sleeper cash was was the yang to that um and so

20:07

basically based upon their their monday friday activities um they would

20:14

they would commence when um cash got up and kind of um he was on the catalyst that would get the

20:19

house going um so uh as a result of of cash not being in the

20:26

home um everyone slept in um and there was that delay right right

20:34

so it wasn't so much they were searching they weren't searching for five hours you know

**(Pinkerton said that Brown left Carter when he came back the second time around 6:30 - 7:00 am, because he was spooked hearing people up and looking for cash in the house)

right right right right

20:40

but yeah but surely carter's awake correct i mean what's what's carter doing i mean when did he wake up we don't know what time that was

20:47

that was much later i suppose this was like daylight when when brown we don't

20:52

yeah we don't correct correct sir uh we don't have time a time

20:58

stamp the time t concepts pardon me um they've been depressed or um you know the metadata for that um

21:06

isn't available so um you know you you could try to deduce but you'd only be guessing

21:12

but we're aware the um poor cash was founded was it seven something a.m in the road

21:21

by the jogger correct so he was already found as she was reported

21:27

they already had him as a murder victim right correct

21:34

incredible

correct correct such a case no it is i want you to you

21:40

know you have us what you have mister i'm sorry no no you

21:45

carry on what you have um in that neighborhood i apologize what you have in that

21:52

neighborhood um is you have florina parkway

21:59

and let me let me get my ears in here okay you have florina parkway where monica lives at now

all there

22:04

there's three four or five streets behind monica's house and then you again get to a

22:11

socio-economic okay so when you when you're in monica's neighborhood the houses are

22:18

maybe 80 to 160 when you get four streets um

22:23

north what you have is a socio-economic that starts to go up to the 200 300 000. so

22:29

um they had a boy that that was you know essentially directly on the border um

22:36

between this this different higher socioeconomic and this the lower socioeconomic

22:42

he's laying in the street you know essentially in the middle of that so there was a great deal of of um you know

22:49

time that was spent on trying to just identify where this boy came from

22:56

someone's saying in chat that he in fact didn't have an ankle bracelet can you comment can you make

23:02

can you uh you know we had an ankle bracelet can you confirm or deny that

23:08

i i the only thing i can say is that i was told he was he had an ankle uh monitor

23:14

um right now as far as that's what that's what the mainstream media say all i can report on is

23:23

and that's what i've heard from the family as well okay okay because a lot obviously

23:29

already this is taking two sides there's a moniker supporters and then

23:34

monika you must be aware of that now

23:42

absolutely absolutely are you aware that the window was smashed in was this

23:48

before the murder or after

23:53

after after two windows were broken and the front

23:58

was um was pelted with eggs raw eggs

24:04

and and you yourself mended this window for or boarded it up is that right

24:12

no i offered it to her but right now in texas we are having uh we are just

24:18

having storms fire um day after day after day and uh you know we've come to the agreement now

24:24

that it's it's had enough water in there now that um they've got something over it but i said once it dries out and we're sure that

24:31

you know we won't trap any mold or anything and we'll we'll go on and

24:36

get it so um i told her you know as far as repairing it you might just wait until you're you're

24:42

sure that all rock throwing's done

as far as you in your opinion in your

24:49

opinion is brown the culprit of this abduction let's start there is

24:56

that him in the video

yeah absolutely absolutely and that's been

25:03

confirmed by the carer and the brother

is that right

25:10

yes he identified by that video um and uh and there is

25:17

um you know from the family what i know is there's the monitor and they were able to um first identify

25:24

him and then track the movements uh via the the monitoring device

25:29

um you know that that's i've not looked into that in myself

25:36

i have a team that can't disprove that he was on the monitor so the family says he's on the monitor i

25:43

leave the family at this point now there's been a knife found

25:48

this should be waiting to be confirmed it's a murder weapon and then the dna will confirm that brown

25:54

is in fact the murderer

right is that what we're looking at at the moment is that what we're waiting for in dallas

26:03

correct there there was a a knife found um there's a lot of debate as to where

26:09

uh people thought that was found um the the knife was found um

26:15

at brown's house and it was also found with a tissue with some drops of blood

26:22

um i no i know from the family that that's where the knife was found

26:29  The knife was in fact found in the Home of Monica Sherod, in the bathroom which was across the house

right so leading on from that you are again sure the second visit was brown as well

26:35

because a lot of debate isn't the same guy and lalidar in your opinion it's the same guy

26:41

correct correct

okay correct that's good okay

26:48

um right so then we can

the the reason that i the reason that i know that i'm sorry um

26:55

the kind of thing that i know that um is because there there's a um

27:00

washer and dryer right in that area um as you're coming in through the

27:05

garage um and uh um they're not sure quite yet if um

27:14

those clothes may have belonged inside the house potentially

okay so all right well that's set the

27:20

scene um of what's said and then we have of course

27:25

today's i mean it's being covered in the press what's the latest from from the

27:31

mainstream media at the moment any news on there

27:38

um you know not not as as of today right now um i've been uh out of the loop for a

27:45

little bit today but um we have a very vast team um

27:50

of of varying degrees of criminologists um and i've not been alerted that

27:56

um there's anything today

is the coverage waning or is it growing

28:06

it's i'd say that it's sustaining um coverage topics are changing um and you

28:13

and that's natural but what we have right now is this really dangerous

28:18

they're trying to set um and they're setting the tone for an incompetency

28:29

is scissors saying that you guys ruining the trial because he's not going to get a fair trial now

28:35

because of social media etc what do you think of that

no and that's the well um that's one of the things that i

28:42

advocate for because i have been in the situation where i was facing a jury this was 20

28:49

years ago but i was facing a jury that was i was never going to get a fair shake

28:55

having had went through all of that and seen the way that the the power of

29:02

the social media um that i i felt that um you know victim advocacy is number one

29:07

and then a very close second is trying to preserve um these these counties where all of

29:14

this the you know these situations happen and then and then the the social media goes wild and the people that live in those

29:20

counties are watching the salacious media um you know from this tragedy in their county and then these people are going

29:26

to be sent a jury summons a.d and when they do they're going to guess um you know a series of questions

29:34

those questions are have you followed any of this online now the nature of the technology

29:39

nowadays a.d um almost all but a lot of these tragedies are caught on camera

29:48

so if you are are subjected to this media online and then you're set at summons

29:54

you cannot do process you have a bias colored in by jesus by design you have bias yes

30:01

for sure mate i've seen it so much tell us i don't know if you went to the public

30:06

meeting did you go to the public meeting did you go the public meeting with the police did

30:11

you go

um i was around there yes yes

tell us about that i'm gonna sit back and listen i'm gonna let you get

30:17

into some flow now tell us all about the public meeting and how the police are any good around your area

30:26

well you know we we we've had a lot of colorful things happen with the

30:33

dallas police since uh we we had a situation here i

30:38

think it's been three or four years now um where we lost um a number of officers

30:44

in one situation um and we've had uh we've had different uh we had the bathroom gene

30:50

incident with the amber geiger geyer tri uh geyer trial geiger trial

30:56

um we've had some very high profile situations happen here um we've had a

31:02

chief that's on the ropes um and we we have a a a bail for profit

31:07

system here that is out of control um and i don't understand that for 2021

31:13

right now but um effectively about 60 percent of the felonies were were overturned at

31:21

the court level um for for much of the 2000s you know varying degrees of of severity

31:29

but we have a bail over system here where um we lock them up they pay bail and then you know

31:35

in the court some time okay so did

i mean questions asked at

31:43

this meeting with why wasn't this guy ascertained to be dangerous before this happened

31:54

well um i think you have to look a lot into um you know the father's involvement

31:59

with law enforcement um you know any average joe um you know whether they be white black

32:06

mexican hispanic um you know whatever they are you the things that he's done um it's

32:14

it's not that cut and dry as far as um remaining on on the outs um you know

32:20

we we had a situation with with the burglary and the attempted adduction

32:26

abduction of the the minor um hispanic girl and he was detained uh

32:33 (the police were not called to that incident, charges were only brought after the fact of the Cash Gernon incident, Monica convince the grandfather that she had Darrien under control, he was staying with her)

and then taken in for evaluation and then released um that's not what they do for crazy

32:39

people um here in texas they'll they'll go ahead and they'll give you that evaluation and if you meet a criteria then you go

32:46

to a state hospital where they manage um more effectively managed

32:52

criminally insane

okay now just to confirm you didn't know this

32:58

family before the abduction is that right or you did

no sir

33:06

no

no okay they're from um houston

um they've only

33:11

they've only been fired they've only been in the area for uh four years or so

33:21

that this talk of monica talking the the grandfather not to prosecute bro i

33:27

mean is it brown is this the speculation is this being thrown at morocco

33:32

what's the truth in that

33:38

i mean that's the stuff that law and order shows are built on i mean we have a real jew i mean we we

33:44

are a state that votes to keep the death penalty here um we um we enjoy knowing that

33:52

as a last resort for criminals that do heinous things um and uh you know it's it's it's uh

34:00

an unfortunate incident now there's talk that uh mr brown's stepfather is

34:07

involved in some sort of investigation um and and it sounds as if it's a um an ia situation internal unfair

34:14

situation i don't know what to degree or or description

34:20

right right okay i can see in chat that feelings are high on this case and

34:26

divided are you experiencing that in dallas there's a massive gulf between what

34:32

you're saying and what others are saying you're aware of that right

34:39

absolutely as a victim advocate i don't i don't fall victim to what's

34:45

online what i do is i take what the family tells me um and that's all i can do um and you

34:52

know uh remain unbiased for for um due process here in america that's um

34:59

you know in anywhere we have a just democratic type uh judicial system everyone has the

35:07

right it's not it's it's not a um a priv it's a privilege it's uh it's not one of

35:13

these things that um is to be taken lightly so when you start interfering with due process

35:20

and people that are on the outside and not been incarcerated or indicted or

35:25

even focused on as a suspect publicly um you have to treat them as such um you

35:30

know the one thing a.d that monica is guilty of um we are all guilty of and what that one

35:36

thing is is of having a past that she's not um entirely

35:42

um satisfied with right if you have a past and and you're marginalized by society

35:47

and then you have a situation where a tragedy comes into your life um you know darion brown justice that's not

35:54

enough justice we want more justice in america we want super size justice with big drinks and fries

36:03

well you could say that about the first mother hasn't she wasn't she she's into all sorts of trouble wouldn't

36:08

she be poor

i don't know i don't know the truth what people tell me that she was a truck driver and things and

36:15

things went wrong although she although she is a victim herself um

36:21

you know there there's a lot of questions that you could um infer or deduce um yourself about

36:30

the bio mother's involvement with the children um you know there wasn't any boys

36:37

no one was actively on the lookout trying to retrieve these children from from situation that that you know

36:44

they thought they were in. so um you know was molecular two children the two female children

36:51

yeah the two females are with the mother all the time

no no where are they then

correct

36:59

correct where are they i don't i don't know about any financial

37:04

i'm sorry we got caught there's two female children who weren't

37:12

taken away from the mother and given to the father so where are those two girls

37:17

correct those two girls are in houston okay with their mother where's cat so

37:25

cash and yes and cardo not how do you divide a family like that who decides a thing

37:31

like that

37:41

the dissolving of their relationship essentially um now the idea was in the beginning what i

37:47

was told was the mother had all four children and uh there just wasn't enough of

37:53

everything to go around so the decision was made to send the two boys with cash

38:00

and carter now is back with the mother right

38:05

correct sir and i did ask about the financial support given

38:11

to monica was she doing this goodness of heart she was just looking after these children for no money

38:16

just doing it correct um correct and then um

38:23

trevor the father had raised the idea to um miss seagroves the mother

38:30

about claiming the children on that this year's taxes um which at that

38:36

point uh as legend has miss seagroves became very angry and she

38:42

called the cps on trevor and monica okay

38:47

now you can confirm there's no good gold fund me set up by monica to milk this case at all right is that

38:53

correct absolutely

um monica believes that that was set up by someone

38:59

in the uh biological family um just so as to further demean and and

39:05

try to embarrass her yeah yeah damage to to get a ruiner

39:11

reputation what reputation we admit she's not perfect not that anybody is right right correct

39:19

correct correct correct right so that's where we are now i've

39:25

heard massive rumors about i'm going to let you tell me the story about the involvement of an accomplice or not or

39:32

maybe or tell me your story on that so

um i had

39:41

had effectively been talking to monica for a few days um and uh you know i was so unfamiliar

39:49

with the case that i was way behind the flow and my wife the beautiful woman she is um she

39:57

started sending me things and some of the things she sent you were for mr pinkerton

40:02

um and mr pinkerton made a claim on his social media that

40:07

that brown had an accomplice that was making these movements with him

40:13

documenting all of it on the phone uh and i didn't ask monica about it immediately because i thought well you

40:19

know i don't want to um you know i don't want to engage with this lady and have her think the only

40:24

thing i'm doing is is you know trying to gain information so that i can expose her

40:30

i mean that's not what it was it was at all um so i you know i

40:36

do it and then i i asked her said you know um your stepdad he says that there was a

40:42

second accomplice and uh monica said yes they're they're you know that's that's the story

40:49

um that there was a second individual involved and that he had identified

40:56

in some fashion which was unknown to them at that time how he was identified but

41:04

he was and the the law enforcement element in the neighborhood um it's another kid from the back of the

41:10

neighborhood i guess all the police moved the elements moved to that area

41:15

and the onlookers that were there they kind of followed and there was um someone in the group that that knew

41:21

monica and was was actively um you know reporting to her about what was going on

41:27

and uh so the young man turned his phone over and that was that

41:32

so your opinion though what's your opinion i'm interested in your boots on the

41:39

ground you think he acted alone or do you do it under orders

41:47

you know i don't really have i you know i think to do what i what i do

41:52

and what i'm trying to do i can't have an opinion and and i and so i've really guarded

41:58

myself from from having fun that's fine what i understand i understand that yeah

42:05

yeah and what's your assessment of moniker as a person because you you

42:11

speak to her every day how does she come across to you correct

42:18

um she comes across tired um you know i she had her own kids and then

42:24

she um you know took on the two boys even while trevor was around she was the main

42:30

caretaker and guardian for the boys um and uh you know she

42:36

life is really is really beat her down and you know it's so hard a.d to convince

42:43

someone that um all the bad things that people say about you on the internet they actually turn off when you stop uh

42:50

looking for them and uh you know that's a very hard thing to articulate to someone

42:56

um and so i i just see as the day dragon um and and the social media

43:03

flares turn into infernos um it's she's very depressed as anyone would be

43:11

organically added with all of the extra bs online a.d she's she's beside herself

43:17

um yeah actually yeah um people say don't people say don't read it but you sorry

43:23

people say to her the advice is always don't read it then but it's not that easy is it

43:28

not to read it it's everywhere it's not that easy it's not no that's it because you know

43:35

in her situation um the the phenomenal part about her losing

43:40

a child that she was was wasting is that it it comes with real physical

43:45

threat as well um in real reality so as some of us can log on and be entertained

43:53

uh when we log off and we cook dinner or you know scoop dog poop or whatever we do in real life

43:59

we forget now we've incited um you know a billion people on on on youtube and um there's quite

44:07

a a following of this case that's in in dallas frankly so um every every

44:13

uh uh negative and crooked salacious agenda-filled propaganda puts them

44:20

further and further at risk

so let me just go in real quick to the very dynamic hypocritical part about being against

44:28

monica and the victims but wanting um you know justice for cash is is that

44:34

when you say salacious things online

and monica you have to remember she has other living children

44:40

in her house so when people online lose their mind and want to go by and threaten that house or the people

44:47

that live in that house there's kids there too so you can't effectively choose who (the juvenile children were taken from the home by Child protective services, )

44:52

you're going to advocate for if you advocate for children you advocate for all children old children yeah there's

45:00

not picking shoes can't pick and choose i've got some information

45:05

here i want to run by you um who's leslie who's leslie

45:14

leslie is monica's mom now leslie welcomed the boys

45:21

into their home monica wasn't there during most of the time she'd run off to houston

what does that all mean

45:31

um she didn't run off to houston that's where monica's from as well um and you know

45:37

everyone knows about her her very public um her very publicly exposed

45:43

criminal history so it's it's nothing i'm not trying to to hide a secret in a garden but um

45:49

monica was living a life um leslie didn't approve of um so leslie called the social services

45:58

and they temporarily removed children um to leslie's custody at which time leslie

46:04

um brought them to the house area and uh um monica didn't know where they

46:11

were um and so suffering the loss of of the child to not have the children

46:17

and not having the correct tools in her toolbox to manage that loss um and make it through she reverted back

46:24

to what she was doing at that time and she ended up going um getting into a

46:29

little trouble and pointed that to society um when she uh served her debt to

46:35

society and got out she was notified about where her children was were

46:41

and she came to them um but while she was not around for for those two

46:47

years um miss uh miss miss pinkerton leslie pinkerton um

46:54

had in some fashion i don't know monica um i never asked because i can't

47:00

ask monica how her mom met darian because that's hearsay so all

47:05

i know is that she took the boys she took alex and darion in for the length of the whole school year

47:14

yeah that's what it says here and um when monica returns he says okay here's the house and gave her

47:21

the house with the kids said yeah it left her to it just a rental

47:27

house so it's yeah but she then she then went monica took control of all these children

47:34

and monica didn't know who'd been coming and going all this time for all we know brown might have been

47:39

coming in and out all that time right he sort of had free reign to that

47:46

house not just he broke in and took the child it's much more complicated than that isn't it

47:53

correct um now uh he was not living there during the time of the abduction

48:00

he was uh effectively you know spending a majority of his time at his parents house

48:06

um so it's it's you know it was a battle for for monica to stay aligned with

48:13

what she had to do to keep her family safe but also not tread on leslie's toes who

48:20

essentially um you know heard things on the lease determination so you

48:25

know if if if monica didn't adhere to what leslie wanted there'd be hell to pay

48:32

so monica did the best she could but what she had

then you say that maybe fair absolutely

48:40

absolutely i mean the the children didn't look uh emaciated or bruised no they don't know you don't see

48:45

pictures of them yeah no no smiling um and and you know real a real kind of

48:54

unknown about this is that um those boys spent enough time with

49:01

uh trevor and and and uh monica away from their own mother that when

49:06

they were shown pictures of her they they didn't um visually recognize her climbing

49:13

the main point i get here is that leslie pilkerton allowed brown in and out of that home for a long

49:18

period of time correct

correct so so it is highest

49:26

brown yeah

49:32

did he actually live there for a period of time it's what i'm trying to get to fran

yeah for the length of a school

49:40

year him and his him him and his brother alex both lived there alex

49:45

now him and him he's got a mother and a father and a police officer he's

49:50

living at this house where monica's not there but

49:55

leslie is we don't know what went on during that time do we we don't know where this came from

50:02

well i mean it's say no and it's it's very safe to say uh we you

50:08

know i'm the father to two teenage girls and i and i've had teenage boys as well um

50:16

teenagers always want um they they want to be where there's the path of least resistance so

50:22

what that uses equating to real world is teenagers will be where there's the

50:28

least amount of rules

exactly yeah isn't it i'm going to stay with my mate he's

50:33

his mum's better than you mum you are a [ __ ] i hate you i'm going to stay at fred's house he's my mum's lovely to me

50:38

like that and then yeah so he got used to being

right but that's not people's perception

50:45

people's perception of brands he broke in that night maybe

my perception is he could come and go as

50:50

he wanted um not not once monica took over the

50:57

home no no she felt uneasy with him did she um she felt she creeped out by him

51:03

right correct correct correct so so just imagine those

51:09

previous months when he was living there with these boys correct

51:16

there were a couple of instances where monica's children um after monica had taken um you know

51:22

the helm of the house um you know they were they were in that process of trying to keep

51:28

brown away um there were reports that um some of monica's children would wake up

51:35

in the morning to get ready for school and darien would be in the room

51:41

oh my lord see this is a long process this is like this is one in being in

51:47

that room that night wasn't the first rodeo was it let's face it it was not

51:54

it was not i know monica fought tooth and nail a.d to try to keep that away from her but

52:01

they're just she was fighting a losing battle um you know there was a lot of dynamics and unfortunately when

52:09

when someone else has control over where you live and your you know access to your

52:14

financial situations um you know you're you're tied to adhering to that

52:20

you know so who

who's back in this brand then in your opinion to be able to live

52:25

there and go and be there and

52:32

miss pinkerton

okay okay that's the point that is the point

52:41

so there's a lot of people that feel really bad about this in that family and at the moment i should imagine because

52:47

they're talking about a dead child in four months four years absolutely um

52:53

absolutely and really the really dynamic part about it is um when you follow the peter

53:01

um bread crumb trail on on social media um you're not you know

53:06

maybe now um that that you know i became very frustrated with the fact that

53:13

was popping up all over social media saying different things about monica that that are private and

53:19

uh pardon that are private and i became very annoyed and i thought you know this is

53:24

here um she's not telling the truth about how darian knows about that house

53:30

she's running around she's doing this and she's she's in my opinion um she's making it

53:36

harder on her daughter she's going around feeding information in the live chats of channels that

53:43

are providing misinformation to tens of thousands of people um and so uh you know i i did kind of

53:51

make an executive decision to say hey listen um you know also there are

53:56

there's a lot of things monica has told me um that she said don't say anything about that

54:02

and um some of it is i've said things about and some of them are not pertinent to this case in any

54:07

way um they're the things that you would say in general conversation when you're

54:12

um you know creating a rapport with someone so um you know we may talk about living in duncanville and and having a commonality

54:20

um that necessarily has nothing to do with this so um you know it's it's it is a very

54:26

dynamic situation um you know they're the leslie um has

54:32

and and kurt as well have been um have been involved in spreading a lot of different things on

54:37

online whether they're true or not that's not for me to decipher but what i do know is she's not told

54:44

anyone um that she in fact was the one that's responsible for bringing him there

54:51

okay now trevor made an emotional statement which i heard what's your thoughts on trevor and his

54:56

statement

um you know trevor got into some trouble

55:05

up here and um and what happened was is

55:10

monica is facing um a possession of of a controlled

55:15

substance here in dallas county um and that's uh by by monica's account um that is for

55:23

a time where they were stopped in the traffic stop and uh monica ended up taking um

55:30

possession charge for for trevor um and he got in subsequent trouble

55:37

himself and was ordered to rehab a rehab facility here um in this county and he absconded

55:45

but the way that he left um was like uh you know hey monica um i'm gonna go back to houston where

55:52

you know i can get myself together and then um i'll come back for the boys or i'll come back or

55:58

or whatever the case is um he just said hey i'm gonna go to the store i'll be right back and he just left

56:06

never came back

so at the moment he's on the run is that the situation with him

56:12

he's on the run right now uh you know that was that was that was

56:17

the status before all of this situation um transpired um he has i guess he came on the news i

56:24

don't you know he is a victim as well but uh he's a a a strange kind of victim

56:30

and sense that he was uh a contributing victim if that's such a thing um he was

56:36

negligent in a way that that led to his boys being left in an environment

56:41

that clearly was was no good um but he made a statement and and if you know my deduction is that

56:48

this is such a a bad situation that um you know they're probably going to let him

56:54

get through this this burial service and all of that and then um here in texas you are here you come

57:01

on vacation and you leave on probation so he's going to have to answer to those charges here

57:06

they're not going to let him go because you know he he made a bad decision and something happened to his son

any news

57:13

on when there will be a burial a funeral for the poor boy or was it gonna be held off for a while

um i was told that i i

57:21

thought that it was gonna be this weekend um but the last i heard about it was

57:28

that it was it was gonna be an upcoming, when and that uh um trevor and monica were weren't uh

57:35

they weren't gonna be allowed to come so the police are finished with the body can you say that and they've given the

57:40

body back to the family

57:46

yes okay so i can say that they've given the body back i know that there is

57:53

there is a gofundme that was available in the very recent past um that

57:59

uh was from the bio family they were trying to um arrange and pay for the service to

58:06

bring back that's what i think there could have been some friction

58:12

between monica and brown and he could have some motivation to her you know he's being ousted from the

58:20

house where he liked to be by monica returning right

58:25

absolutely that could be part of the problem absolutely okay the other part of the

58:33

problem and this is um this is just what i i know from contextual details um you know mr brown

58:41

and his brother alex um they were both coming of age and they were experimenting with ecstasy um and

58:48

methamphetamines and street drugs um and and what i've

58:54

i've watched a few times but uh my open source community um they send me information and they say

59:00

you know what no one seems to know what the motivation is um now here in texas we have

59:08

a huge methamphetamine pandemic here i mean it's not pandemi it's an epidemic

59:16

it is epidemic proportions it doesn't matter if it's in the city in the country um it's everywhere and

59:22

with this with this new brand of of what they call mexico super mexican super meth

59:30

we started to get a lot of strange new offenders um and so if if if anyone out there

59:37

cares to watch the portion of of the the baby cam video where brown um

59:44

physically takes the child before that if you were to focus on his genitalia or his genital

59:51

area he does appear to be um in some state of arousal

59:57

oh no damn it we're going to do we're going to do another strong page when we go into you

1:00:03

know the proclivity

yeah the the proclivity for um sexual

1:00:10

strange sexual are impulses direct side effect of methamphetamine

1:00:16

right that's kind of methamphetamine induced psychosis so there's been a huge rise in sexual

1:00:23

problems uh cases and problems around the area then

1:00:29

absolutely another thing that you got to remember yourself when they're trying to paint a narrative and i mean they as as the defense

1:00:37

when you try to paint a narrative of a mentally incompetent um it's hard to

1:00:43

make that fit when you've had when you have brown taken away for for uh psychiatric evaluations um

1:00:50

with no recourse he's released um you know no no further treatment necessary um you

1:00:56

know you you have these things that that disprove the fact that that he had a mental um deficit or

1:01:03

disorder of some sort um we don't have any reports of of brown

1:01:08

doing any of this i call it shopping um brown didn't shop for the kids in his

1:01:14

neighborhood um he shopped for little kids in monica's neighborhood

so it tells you that he knew that that

1:01:20

behavior not right um yeah

1:01:26

with rental um clothing

1:01:33

into um first

1:01:51

west wing the west end um brown is being housed in the north end the

1:01:56

northern end um so he's not in the second unit at all

1:02:02

so we look we lost a lot you just repeat that benny we lost that oh totally lost the connection

1:02:09

right where's bubbles is in your hands to get him back on so benny he seems to be the center of

1:02:16

this i mean like i've saw a lot of people in chat and there was a lot of aggression show to

1:02:22

benny i don't know why i don't know what's going on there i i don't know i'm i'm only here to interview benny on

1:02:30

what i know not what people think of him or don't think of him

1:02:35

so that's my that's my job uh we've lost the power there somewhere benny

1:02:43

hello hi sorry we lost you for a minute

1:02:50

yes sir right just go through that again you said he's being held at one end of the prison but we didn't catch all that

1:02:56

what was that about the psychiatric session and what was that about you okay okay um the west

1:03:03

the west uh tower was the original jail um that was built in that complex which

1:03:10

is called loose steric um they they since um have built three subsequent wings the north south

1:03:16

um and east the west was um it was renovated when they were

1:03:23

building the other towers to uh be for the mental patients and and the criminally um unmanageable

1:03:30

so it's a different scenario it's not an open pod two-story um the rest of the jails

1:03:38

are uh you know in varying degrees of of um uh i guess you say you got super max

1:03:45

being kind of the west tower and then um less uh less maximum security units on the

1:03:53

others um the south tower being one of the loosest um it's it's still holds felony um

1:04:00

offenders but it's wide open just bunk beds um two-story um the psychiatric unit you're one one

1:04:07

man sells in an eight-man unit

1:04:14

now where's ashley's well in this uh by your dad's sister is she doing anything on this case

1:04:21

um you know i i couldn't comment on that um i i don't know i've been so um absorbed in in

1:04:28

you know the mission that i've been appointed to that that i'm not even really familiar with the tree that far um the branches of the

1:04:36

tree that far out um i'm aware of who they are but um not about their contribution

1:04:42

of course we you understand that we're going to go into patron we'll take a break shortly you can have a burger beer um but

1:04:50

patron as it's only members you better speak a lot more um you know openly there so we said that

1:04:57

all along with this um we're gonna do it because we have to understand these drugs and that we want

1:05:03

to go into that and what we can do about it as a you know as p as people and parents you know absolutely it's a scary

1:05:10

situation not just for cash but what can we learn from cash you know

1:05:16

well what we can learn is is that these street drugs um you know they have phenomenal power

1:05:21

over the youth um you know these youth their brains are not even fully developed and so to to try to get

1:05:29

young minds to adhere um to adult in societal expectations when they're

1:05:35

when they're tampering with very very powerful harmful chemicals it's it's almost a no-win

1:05:41

situation these days uh what i encourage um all families to do pay attention to

1:05:48

your kids if they're acting weird um ua them give them a urine analysis

1:05:54

um and then deal with it appropriately not only that but if if you live

1:05:59

um in a neighborhood or a community where there's strange narcotic activity um be a mandated reporter and report

1:06:06

that to the police accordingly you're gonna save kids all down the line

1:06:11

if we could have busted the house where where brown was getting his drugs at well then we

1:06:16

may have we may have had a different ending um and all here what

1:06:22

you're a good man i can see you're coming from a good place thank you sir i can see that you can see that and i

1:06:28

wish you the best and i can see you're going to help community that's going to be i think that's your aim in life isn't it

1:06:34

you want to do things for children i can see it i'm going to die trying

1:06:40

[Laughter] that's brilliant well we're going to move to patron shortly don't forget

1:06:45

that we only breathe because of our heart our hearts not in the right place where we won't breathe so we need to

1:06:51

we need to help each other don't we that's right benny you've been very respectful yes

1:06:58

self keep telling to my hey i've got i've got um up to 20 channels that make films about me and hate me and lie about

1:07:04

me so if you want any advice [Laughter]

1:07:10

long term how to deal with it it's it's don't let them get in your head don't let them get in yes thank you for

1:07:15

that advice a.d

best of luck for the future for those that aren't joining us on patreon

1:07:21

we're going to take a um a short break for 20 minutes and we'll see you in patreon at 11 55

1:07:27

anything you want to say before you go benny any anything at all

1:07:32

um you know um i was told by bubbles to just go ahead and say it so

1:07:38

um my set my sentiments are exactly that of law enforcement here in

1:07:43

texas if you're on this side of the bars you're good with me if you're on the other side of the bars

1:07:49

and you had something to do with cash vernon i i want to apply to put the needle in

1:07:56

your arm myself okay i have a proponent of the death penalty and here in texas when you

1:08:01

defend against little kids and you butcher them in the street we put the needle in your arm god

1:08:06

willing let him sort it out i'm i'm with you on that i i know i'm in my minority on the death

1:08:13

penalty but i i agree with you on that i think it's a i think i honestly people say it's not the terror i think it is

1:08:19

i really do absolutely but um we'll see we'll see what you have the death penalty still in dallas right

1:08:26

oh boy we just we just did one about two and a half weeks ago um we sent him

1:08:32

home and uh down here when we send him home we celebrate right well and also right they're always

1:08:38

on about uh da's doing plea deals to save money for the state how much does it save the state to

1:08:45

uh you know have the death penalty millions on each prisoner right over somewhere in prison for 50 years

1:08:52

absolutely as well you know the average the average stay is you know 10 to 20 years

1:08:57

um before you know you go through all your reviews and burn up your appeals and and then you you know your million

1:09:03

automatics millions yeah it's millions you're you're searching for clemency at that point um and it becomes a public issue

1:09:11

um and it you know goes to to tens of millions on some of these cases a.d

1:09:18

yeah so all the way around that money could go to something useful you know that's what i think but that's just me

1:09:24

i'm in education education you can go into the education prevention's far better than

1:09:31

cure where it's too late yeah they say a pound of prevention is worth or an ounce of prevention is

1:09:38

worth a pound of cure yeah i like it yeah well i think we've

1:09:44

made friends tonight and uh we're going to carry those on a patron where we go to the more sensitive side of the cave and uh

1:09:52

you're a good man all the best we'll see you shortly thank you cheers uh yeah he's gone and to all uh

Chiari malformation Type III – the most serious form –has some of the cerebellum and the brain stem stick out, or herniate, through an abnormal opening in the back of the skull.  This can also include the membranes surrounding the brain or spinal cord.  Symptoms of this very rare form of CM appear in infancy and can cause debilitating and life-threatening complications.  Babies with Type III can have many of the same symptoms as those with Type II but can also have additional severe neurological defects such as seizures and mental and physical delays.

1:04

boom hello my name's alan i am the armchair detective uh from time to time

1:10

there comes a crime that flashes across our true true crime community

1:16

and takes root not very often i mean there's murders every day and there's children's murders every day

1:22

but every so often something happens that we go wow we we want to know more we want other players we want to know

1:29

everything about this case and this is such a case with them dear little cash gannon and

1:36

his his brother carter you know such a sad story uh we've been touching on it for a week now

1:44

but tonight we're very lucky to be joined by a guest who's actually known as boots on

1:50

the ground he's very well known in the area of dallas where this happened benny keys with the zed is our guest

1:57

tonight and i'm sure you're going to find this a fascinating exploration into

2:03

that area of america how it works where you've got poverty drugs all sorts

2:09

of deviants milling around a very dangerous area but what's it like to live there

2:16

what's this like when there's crime you report it and it doesn't get taken on by the police and then

2:23

with hindsight like poor little cash could his life have been saved as this guy had previous

2:30

he's wearing an ankle bracelet even days before there's rumors of

2:36

serious misdemeanors by brown let's get to the truth tonight here on

2:43

uh youtube now because of the sensitive nature of the subject we will be taking it into patrons so

2:50

we're going to do it for just over an hour on here then uh benny and i are going to take a 15-minute

2:56

break and come back on patreon you need to join patreon now to get used to how it works it's half price

3:02

especially for this subject okay so without further ado let's go live to um dallas

3:10

and bring on our guest tonight and this is benny good evening benny

3:18

good evening mr a.d thank you for having me oh oh thanks for calling i feel like elvis

3:24

call me sir in that yeah very good manners you have it's the southern way

3:30

it's a southern way right dallas texas i've always wanted to go to the southern way jr man um this is gonna be

3:38

just all summer walk by this is gonna be a long show that's right with you i don't know you've got a barbecue to go

3:43

to so we're on pretty soon i'm at one but i'm at one but this is you know this

3:51

is always priority right right

3:57

first of all let's find out a bit of a channel let's give that some publicity first please

4:03

sure um i've been doing this now for almost six months um i

4:09

started out uh with the ideal that i was gonna do the sexual predators online because we

4:15

have a real bad problem here and i got really into it and realized um i had the

4:22

epiphany that i i wished a lot of guys would the only thing we do when we do that for

4:28

for youtube is we make the we make it smarter um that's an actual fact so

4:35

i then was exposed to the cal city case regarding oren and arson west

4:40

and um and it started

4:45

okay and the rumors you're gonna quit yesterday you were so fed up with youtube that you're gonna

4:51

quit yesterday you're okay with that now yeah you know i fortunately i work with

4:58

um a great group of people at uh the open source intelligence group and a lot of what they're doing with me

5:06

is behavioral modification um it's it's i get caught in these seemingly

5:11

um no-win situations and and i'm such i have such a grasp on reality i i don't

5:18

care all right i'll just be honest with you all right now the other main point about you is

5:24

that you had a serious head injury tell us a bit about that uh benny

5:31

i was born with um a grade three arnold chiari malformation um and i i didn't know it until i had a

5:39

fall due to uh uh city negligence and um it essentially activated uh the arnold

5:45

chiari and so now i have all sorts of of pain issues and nerve issues and

5:51

and uh and you know quite frankly um you know i'm passionate about something that

5:56

filter goes away um and that was something that was post um post fall and and you're gonna have that

6:04

rectified shortly with this pretty serious operation right they're going to rectify that for you yes sir yes sir

6:12

good luck with that from all of us and keep us informed when will this be is it like in the near future near future yeah the in the

6:19

next four to six weeks a.d yeah okay well good luck fingers crossed for you

6:26

right so now we know a bit about you and where you're coming from now are you like me i suffer from dyslexia

6:32

but i see a bigger picture in my mind i feel you're similar i feel you pick up with something and it

6:38

takes you over and you have a passion for it and you run with it and and it's there on your mind all the time something like

6:45

that i i as well i have dyslexia um

6:51

and so i i've suffered with that all through school and it was a problem for me until i was

6:58

able to look at the bigger picture and then break it down into a formula and i've been successful that way

7:04

yeah yeah yeah is it i take it as a gift i can see things other people can't see i feel absolutely

7:09

you know you know when you're looking at something because you don't can't see the words you actually see everything i do anyway

7:16

i guess you're the same so in the case we're going to talk about tonight give us a bit of a background

7:21

about the area where the crime was please um duncanville was duncanville is

7:28

regarded as the um the basketball capital of texas

7:34

um it's uh it's it's big in sports um just a few years ago duncanville was um

7:42

they had a second largest high school in in the united states um they recruit players there and and it

7:48

was kind of also known um you know 35 years ago it was like your your typical tech bedroom community

7:56

um you know you're you're it was just a really nice place to grow up um and then you had um so you have

8:03

duncanville proper right and then right across clark avenue you have what's called the

8:10

woods and that's essentially effectively the the start of dallas county so that was different

8:17

policing also unfortunately a different um socio-economic

8:23

so a lot of the things that happened um right across the street um they they didn't happen in

8:30

duncanville so it was always that place where you know if you lived on the duncanville

8:36

side you know your mom and dad were always like don't go into the woods after night and it's it has kind of always had that

8:46

okay now let's move on um how did you get to know cash's mum

8:54

and when um about 12 days ago approximately

9:01

um i just kept seeing i'm in the true crime community um not nearly as

9:08

and nearly as handsome as mr a.d

9:16

um i saw a fellow texan um in the media and she was free she

9:23

wasn't she hasn't been in prison she hasn't been charged and so that was really for me and i reached out and i

9:32

immediately knew right there um a.d that i was not an investigative crime

9:38

journalist and that i was in fact a victim advocate um and that's where my passion is and now i

9:45

know my lane um and and it's it works for me right now

9:51

that's brilliant yeah so we know a bit about you we know the pension survey um monica

9:59

how is she doing how often do you speak to her

10:05

not well not well oh well you know you you you imagine all of the um all of the

10:12

different channels and platforms and and you know mainstream media as well is just continuing to to

10:20

the agenda um and every you know the kids are now glued to it um

10:25

you know the the schoolmates are glued to it you know there's just this new phenomenal

10:31

network that that moves even faster than our youtube in their community i mean every new

10:38

thing that's you know the next level of atrociousness um

10:44

you know and they've it's disheartening it's full of misinformation lies and

10:50

treachery isn't it local local media and not local media local social media you know

10:56

and and somebody reads it and they believe it before you know it wasn't she insulted in the street what

11:01

did she get a black eye or something um was she she picked her dogs up out of

11:07

the fence correct and while she was there just a

11:12

random lady that that had uh you know been exposed to the agenda online

11:18

um chose attacker um you know sucker puncher and and do the whole nine and that lady was

11:24

um she was remanded to um to the to the county jail

11:29

right have you spoken to cameron are you are you on good terms with cameron as well

11:37

um i have spoken um i've spoken to all the children not individually but as a group

11:45

and just i just told them to try to refrain from first of all watching the media um

11:52

and secondly from from interacting with the media um because it's i you know i know how i

11:59

act when i see salacious things about me on the web and and i can't imagine what you're going through so um oh they're not used to it

12:06

are they you and i actually got grease to it slowly no yes yes

12:13

i've spoken to him a couple of times i'm very short and brief um i spoke to him at the balloon just

12:19

very briefly um and then when i came over one time

12:24

i spoke to him at the front door and just told him you know man you know my cameron

12:31

was a big draw for me to this case because i grew up you know mom always said don't go to the

12:37

woods so i always was in the woods um and so i you know i learned a lot of

12:43

life in that neighborhood i also was you know a young caucasian guy um going to the exact same

12:50

schools that that um cameron's come through and all his is

12:55

so i had a real affinity for for those kids automatically he seems a

13:02

genuine guy i don't know much about him i'm going to judge a character i'm not i'm not against him i think he's he's

13:09

upset i'm genuinely upset about all this yes that'd be correct obsession how many

13:16

people actually live in that house at the time of the murder how many people were living there at that time we got

13:22

the twins correct who else it's weird

13:29

it fluctuated between seven depending on um trevor's uh

13:35

you know and friends from around you know but there was always seven to nine people there but

13:40

it's the bedroom or the the the house brother pardon me um it's effectively a six bedroom house

13:47

the way it's laid out is it is it six bedroom house so we've got the grandfather all the

13:55

time permanent right the grandfather lives there permanent um

14:01

i don't think he's no he's not permanent no no um i think that there's other

14:06

siblings right yes there's talk of a daughter yes sir

14:12

um she's not mentioned anywhere we know cameron's 18 the boys are four how old is his daughter

14:22

um she's uh she's just getting into her teenage years but you know she's she's

14:30

been safely kept away from it and and um you know at least is uh

14:36

you know they're they're enthused about that would she be entrusted on looking after

14:43

the twins at certain times like when a mum was shopping and things would just would she like be the babysitter or she too young

14:54

yeah i think that it was it was um it was a team effort you know the whole family um they there

15:00

wasn't any one person that was designated over the boys it was everyone loved the boys equally and

15:07

and they were just part of um you know part of the squad part of the crew and she told them that she cashes cash

15:15

and carter go ahead uh they they're loved by her

15:20

right she talked to them as if they were her children right oh absolutely

15:26

was that right absolutely sir yeah we have a time delay

15:34

so just you at home when i speak there's a delay so i don't know why that is sometimes we get it sometimes we don't but that's

15:39

where we are so it seems strange for you replying but i understand there's a delay um brown's mum couldn't deal with brown

15:50

and his brother alex just so sent them to stay with monica's mum and stepdad

15:58

leslie and kurt pinkerton who's alex um so i get

16:07

alex is daring um is darian's younger brother um he's he's just over a year

16:15

um older or younger pardon me okay so

16:24

is it true that bran stepped out as a cop is that true yes

16:31

yes sir me but he couldn't keep him in hand heavily he's wearing an ankle bracelet now what does that mean in your town ankle

16:38

bracelet you have to be in by a certain time every night or something

16:44

yeah you're um you know under stipulation of release to an ankle monitor um you have all the same stipulations um

16:51

in in sometimes depending on the case you have case suspicio specific

16:57

installations um so i i i you know he had those stipulations as well as

17:02

the the extra supervision of the monitor um so it's it's a very dynamic situation

17:09

with what we know as uh brown's you know very recent past offenses that he was certainly

17:17

attempted to be um you know at least probation violated

17:23

uh you know he he had done enough before all of this to be sitting somewhere with

17:28

with no bond um essentially what can you tell us i mean like we hear

17:33

all these stories we know he sneaked in the house when monica was shopping

17:39

we know he he was under uh some sort of a arrest for trying to steal a little girl

17:45

what can you tell us about that correct um so the

17:52

dallas morning news i believe it was uh two days ago i think they they really

17:57

report actually let me let me preface it um monica she called me and she said hey

18:02

somebody from the dallas morning news just called me and and they were trying to trick me

18:08

into saying that darian brown was crazy um and she hung up on on the reporter a

18:14

couple hours later he releases a segment saying that um you know at the time that uh mr brown

18:20

was detained at the scene or whatever for for the attempted adduction

18:26

abduction of the little girl um you know the news wants you to believe that monica ran

18:31

down there and pleaded with the officers not to uh or with the homeowner rather

18:37

not to to press charges because he was you know um and that's not that's not the

18:42

situation um you have a woman that has her own um checkered history and uh you know the

18:50

public wants you to believe that she had enough power judiciously um in order to

18:56

have you know a a uh attempted abduction and an assault in a burglary um just washed away um

19:04

you know monica does not have that power in her life or she would officialize it so uh you know you have

19:10

to start looking past that to you know dad that's in law enforcement um i see yeah i see

19:19

so we know cash went missing around around was it 5 a.m right

19:24

was that the time roughly correct and we know that it wasn't reported till

20:34

so it wasn't so much they were searching they weren't searching for five hours you know right right right right

20:40

but yeah but surely carter's awake correct i mean what's what's carter doing i mean when did he wake up we don't know what time that was

20:47

that was much later i suppose this was like daylight when when brian we don't

20:52

yeah we don't correct correct sir uh we don't have time a time

20:58

stamp the time t concepts pardon me um they've been depressed or um you know the metadata for that um

21:06

isn't available so um you know you you could try to deduce but you'd only be guessing

21:12

but we're aware the um poor cash was founded was it seven something a.m in the road

21:21

by the jogger correct so he was already found as she was reported

21:27

they already had him as a murder victim right correct

21:34

incredible correct correct such a case no it is i want you to you

21:40

know you have us what you have mister i'm sorry no no you

21:45

carry on what you have um in that neighborhood i apologize what you have in that

21:52

neighborhood um is you have florina parkway

21:59

and let me let me get my ears in here okay you have florina parkway where monica lives at now all there

22:04

there's three four or five streets behind monica's house and then you again get to a

22:11

socio-economic okay so when you when you're in monica's neighborhood the houses are

22:18

maybe 80 to 160 when you get four streets um

22:23

north what you have is a socio-economic that starts to go up to the 200 300 000. so

22:29

um they had a boy that that was you know essentially directly on the border um

22:36

between this this different higher socioeconomic and this the lower socioeconomic

22:42

he's laying in the street you know essentially in the middle of that so there was a great deal of of um you know

22:49

time that was spent on trying to just identify where this boy came from

22:56

someone's saying in chat that he in fact didn't have an ankle bracelet can you comment can you make

23:02

can you uh you know we had an ankle bracelet can you confirm or deny that

23:08

i i the only thing i can say is that i was told he was he had an ankle uh monitor

23:14

um right now as far as that's what that's what the mainstream media say all i can report on is

23:23

and that's what i've heard from the family as well okay okay because a lot obviously

23:29

already this is taking two sides there's a moniker supporters and then

23:34

monika you must be aware of that now

23:42

absolutely absolutely are you aware that the window was smashed in was this

23:48

before the murder or after

23:53

after after two windows were broken and the front

23:58

was um was pelted with eggs raw eggs

24:04

and and you yourself mended this window for or boarded it up is that right

24:12

no i offered it to her but right now in texas we are having uh we are just

24:18

having storms fire um day after day after day and uh you know we've come to the agreement now

24:24

that it's it's had enough water in there now that um they've got something over it but i said once it dries out and we're sure that

24:31

you know we won't trap any mold or anything and we'll we'll go on and

24:36

get it so um i told her you know as far as repairing it you might just wait until you're you're

24:42

sure that all rock throwing's done as far as you in your opinion in your

24:49

opinion is brown the culprit of this abduction let's start there is

24:56

that him in the video yeah absolutely absolutely and that's been

25:03

confirmed by the carer and the brother is that right

25:10

yes he identified by that video um and uh and there is

25:17

um you know from the family what i know is there's the monitor and they were able to um first identify

25:24

him and then track the movements uh via the the monitoring device

25:29

um you know that that's i've not looked into that in myself

25:36

i have a team that can't disprove that he was on the monitor so the family says he's on the monitor i

25:43

leave the family at this point now there's been a knife found

25:48

this should be waiting to be confirmed it's a murder weapon and then the dna will confirm that brown

25:54

is in fact the murderer right is that what we're looking at at the moment is that what we're waiting for in dallas

26:03

correct there there was a a knife found um there's a lot of debate as to where

26:09

uh people thought that was found um the the knife was found um

26:15

at brown's house and it was also found with a tissue with some drops of blood

26:22

um i no i know from the family that that's where the knife was found

26:29

right so leading on from that you are again sure the second visit was brown as well

26:35

because a lot of debate isn't the same guy and lalidar in your opinion it's the same guy

26:41

correct correct okay correct that's good okay

26:48

um right so then we can the the reason that i the reason that i know that i'm sorry um

26:55

the kind of thing that i know that um is because there there's a um

27:00

washer and dryer right in that area um as you're coming in through the

27:05

garage um and uh um they're not sure quite yet if um

27:14

those clothes may have belonged inside the house potentially okay so all right well that's set the

27:20

scene um of what's said and then we have of course

27:25

today's i mean it's being covered in the press what's the latest from from the

27:31

mainstream media at the moment any news on there

27:38

um you know not not as as of today right now um i've been uh out of the loop for a

27:45

little bit today but um we have a very vast team um

27:50

of of varying degrees of criminologists um and i've not been alerted that

27:56

um there's anything today is the coverage waning or is it growing

28:06

it's i'd say that it's sustaining um coverage topics are changing um and you

28:13

and that's natural but what we have right now is this really dangerous

28:18

they're trying to set um and they're setting the tone for an incompetency

28:29

is scissors saying that you guys ruining the trial because he's not going to get a fair trial now

28:35

because of social media etc what do you think of that no and that's the well um that's one of the things that i

28:42

advocate for because i have been in the situation where i was facing a jury this was 20

28:49

years ago but i was facing a jury that was i was never going to get a fair shake

28:55

having had went through all of that and seen the way that the the power of

29:02

the social media um that i i felt that um you know victim advocacy is number one

29:07

and then a very close second is trying to preserve um these these counties where all of

29:14

this the you know these situations happen and then and then the the social media goes wild and the people that live in those

29:20

counties are watching the salacious media um you know from this tragedy in their county and then these people are going

29:26

to be sent a jury summons a.d and when they do they're going to guess um you know a series of questions

29:34

those questions are have you followed any of this online now the nature of the technology

29:39

nowadays a.d um almost all but a lot of these tragedies are caught on camera

29:48

so if you are are subjected to this media online and then you're set at summons

29:54

you cannot do process you have a bias colored in by jesus by design you have bias yes

30:01

for sure mate i've seen it so much tell us i don't know if you went to the public

30:06

meeting did you go to the public meeting did you go the public meeting with the police did

30:11

you go um i was around there yes yes tell us about that i'm gonna sit back and listen i'm gonna let you get

30:17

into some flow now tell us all about the public meeting and how the police are any good around your area

30:26

well you know we we we've had a lot of colorful things happen with the

30:33

dallas police since uh we we had a situation here i

30:38

think it's been three or four years now um where we lost um a number of officers

30:44

in one situation um and we've had uh we've had different uh we had the bathroom gene

30:50

incident with the amber geiger geyer tri uh geyer trial geiger trial

30:56

um we've had some very high profile situations happen here um we've had a

31:02

chief that's on the ropes um and we we have a a a bail for profit

31:07

system here that is out of control um and i don't understand that for 2021

31:13

right now but um effectively about 60 percent of the felonies were were overturned at

31:21

the court level um for for much of the 2000s you know varying degrees of of severity

31:29

but we have a bail over system here where um we lock them up they pay bail and then you know

31:35

in the court some time okay so did i mean questions asked at

31:43

this meeting with why wasn't this guy ascertained to be dangerous before this happened

31:54

well um i think you have to look a lot into um you know the father's involvement

31:59

with law enforcement um you know any average joe um you know whether they be white black

32:06

mexican hispanic um you know whatever they are you the things that he's done um it's

32:14

it's not that cut and dry as far as um remaining on on the outs um you know

32:20

we we had a situation with with the burglary and the attempted adduction

32:26

abduction of the the minor um hispanic girl and he was detained uh

32:33

and then taken in for evaluation and then released um that's not what they do for crazy

32:39

people um here in texas they'll they'll go ahead and they'll give you that evaluation and if you meet a criteria then you go

32:46

to a state hospital where they manage um more effectively managed

32:52

criminally insane okay now just to confirm you didn't know this

32:58

family before the abduction is that right or you did no sir

33:06

no no okay they're from um houston um they've only

33:11

they've only been fired they've only been in the area for uh four years or so

33:21

that this talk of monica talking the the grandfather not to prosecute bro i

33:27

mean is it brown is this the speculation is this being thrown at morocco

33:32

what's the truth in that

33:38

i mean that's the stuff that law and order shows are built on i mean we have a real jew i mean we we

33:44

are a state that votes to keep the death penalty here um we um we enjoy knowing that

33:52

as a last resort for criminals that do heinous things um and uh you know it's it's it's uh

34:00

an unfortunate incident now there's talk that uh mr brown's stepfather is

34:07

involved in some sort of investigation um and and it sounds as if it's a um an ia situation internal unfair

34:14

situation i don't know what to degree or or description

34:20

right right okay i can see in chat that feelings are high on this case and

34:26

divided are you experiencing that in dallas there's a massive gulf between what

34:32

you're saying and what others are saying you're aware of that right

34:39

absolutely as a victim advocate i don't i don't fall victim to what's

34:45

online what i do is i take what the family tells me um and that's all i can do um and you

34:52

know uh remain unbiased for for um due process here in america that's um

34:59

you know in anywhere we have a just democratic type uh judicial system everyone has the

35:07

right it's not it's it's not a um a priv it's a privilege it's uh it's not one of

35:13

these things that um is to be taken lightly so when you start interfering with due process

35:20

and people that are on the outside and not been incarcerated or indicted or

35:25

even focused on as a suspect publicly um you have to treat them as such um you

35:30

know the one thing a.d that monica is guilty of um we are all guilty of and what that one

35:36

thing is is of having a past that she's not um entirely

35:42

um satisfied with right if you have a past and and you're marginalized by society

35:47

and then you have a situation where a tragedy comes into your life um you know darion brown justice that's not

35:54

enough justice we want more justice in america we want super size justice with big drinks and fries

36:03

well you could say that about the first mother hasn't she wasn't she she's into all sorts of trouble wouldn't

36:08

she be poor i don't know i don't know the truth what people tell me that she was a truck driver and things and

36:15

things went wrong although she although she is a victim herself um

36:21

you know there there's a lot of questions that you could um infer or deduce um yourself about

36:30

the bio mother's involvement with the children um you know there wasn't any boys

36:37

no one was actively on the lookout trying to retrieve these children from from situation that that you know

36:44

they thought they were in so um you know was molecular two children the two female children

36:51

yeah the two females are with the mother all the time no no where are they then correct

36:59

correct where are they i don't i don't know about any financial

37:04

i'm sorry we got caught there's two female children who weren't

37:12

taken away from the mother and given to the father so where are those two girls

37:17

correct those two girls are in houston okay with their mother where's cat so

37:25

cash and yes and cardo not how do you divide a family like that who decides a thing

37:31

like that

37:41

the dissolving of their relationship essentially um now the idea was in the beginning what i

37:47

was told was the mother had all four children and uh there just wasn't enough of

37:53

everything to go around so the decision was made to send the two boys with cash

38:00

and carter now is back with the mother right

38:05

correct sir and i did ask about the financial support given

38:11

to monica was she doing this goodness of heart she was just looking after these children for no money

38:16

just doing it correct um correct and then um

38:23

trevor the father had raised the idea to um miss seagroves the mother

38:30

about claiming the children on that this year's taxes um which at that

38:36

point uh as legend has miss seagroves became very angry and she

38:42

called the cps on trevor and monica okay

38:47

now you can confirm there's no good gold fund me set up by monica to milk this case at all right is that

38:53

correct absolutely um monica believes that that was set up by someone

38:59

in the uh biological family um just so as to further demean and and

39:05

try to embarrass her yeah yeah damage to to get a ruiner

39:11

reputation what reputation we admit she's not perfect not that anybody is right right correct

39:19

correct correct correct right so that's where we are now i've

39:25

heard massive rumors about i'm going to let you tell me the story about the involvement of an accomplice or not or

39:32

maybe or tell me your story on that so um i had

39:41

had effectively been talking to monica for a few days um and uh you know i was so unfamiliar

39:49

with the case that i was way behind the flow and my wife the beautiful woman she is um she

39:57

started sending me things and some of the things she sent you were for mr pinkerton

40:02

um and mr pinkerton made a claim on his social media that

40:07

that brown had an accomplice that was making these movements with him

40:13

documenting all of it on the phone uh and i didn't ask monica about it immediately because i thought well you

40:19

know i don't want to um you know i don't want to engage with this lady and have her think the only

40:24

thing i'm doing is is you know trying to gain information so that i can expose her

40:30

i mean that's not what it was it was at all um so i you know i

40:36

do it and then i i asked her said you know um your stepdad he says that there was a

40:42

second accomplice and uh monica said yes they're they're you know that's that's the story

40:49

um that there was a second individual involved and that he had identified

40:56

in some fashion which was unknown to them at that time how he was identified but

41:04

he was and the the law enforcement element in the neighborhood um it's another kid from the back of the

41:10

neighborhood i guess all the police moved the elements moved to that area

41:15

and the onlookers that were there they kind of followed and there was um someone in the group that that knew

41:21

monica and was was actively um you know reporting to her about what was going on

41:27

and uh so the young man turned his phone over and that was that

41:32

so your opinion though what's your opinion i'm interested in your boots on the

41:39

ground you think he acted alone or do you do it under orders

41:47

you know i don't really have i you know i think to do what i what i do

41:52

and what i'm trying to do i can't have an opinion and and i and so i've really guarded

41:58

myself from from having fun that's fine what i understand i understand that yeah

42:05

yeah and what's your assessment of moniker as a person because you you

42:11

speak to her every day how does she come across to you correct

42:18

um she comes across tired um you know i she had her own kids and then

42:24

she um you know took on the two boys even while trevor was around she was the main

42:30

caretaker and guardian for the boys um and uh you know she

42:36

life is really is really beat her down and you know it's so hard a.d to convince

42:43

someone that um all the bad things that people say about you on the internet they actually turn off when you stop uh

42:50

looking for them and uh you know that's a very hard thing to articulate to someone

42:56

um and so i i just see as the day dragon um and and the social media

43:03

flares turn into infernos um it's she's very depressed as anyone would be

43:11

organically added with all of the extra bs online a.d she's she's beside herself

43:17

um yeah actually yeah um people say don't people say don't read it but you sorry

43:23

people say to her the advice is always don't read it then but it's not that easy is it

43:28

not to read it it's everywhere it's not that easy it's not no that's it because you know

43:35

in her situation um the the phenomenal part about her losing

43:40

a child that she was was wasting is that it it comes with real physical

43:45

threat as well um in real reality so as some of us can log on and be entertained

43:53

uh when we log off and we cook dinner or you know scoop dog poop or whatever we do in real life

43:59

we forget now we've incited um you know a billion people on on on youtube and um there's quite

44:07

a a following of this case that's in in dallas frankly so um every every

44:13

uh uh negative and crooked salacious agenda-filled propaganda puts them

44:20

further and further at risk so let me just go in real quick to the very dynamic hypocritical part about being against

44:28

monica and the victims but wanting um you know justice for cash is is that

44:34

when you say salacious things online and monica you have to remember she has other living children

44:40

in her house so when people online lose their mind and want to go by and threaten that house or the people

44:47

that live in that house there's kids there too so you can't effectively choose who

44:52

you're going to advocate for if you advocate for children you advocate for all children old children yeah there's

45:00

not picking shoes can't pick and choose i've got some information

45:05

here i want to run by you um who's leslie who's leslie

45:14

leslie is monica's mom now leslie welcomed the boys

45:21

into their home monica wasn't there during most of the time she'd run off to houston what does that all mean

45:31

um she didn't run off to houston that's where monica's from as well um and you know

45:37

everyone knows about her her very public um her very publicly exposed

45:43

criminal history so it's it's nothing i'm not trying to to hide a secret in a garden but um

45:49

monica was living a life um leslie didn't approve of um so leslie called the social services

45:58

and they temporarily removed children um to leslie's custody at which time leslie

46:04

um brought them to the house area and uh um monica didn't know where they

46:11

were um and so suffering the loss of of the child to not have the children

46:17

and not having the correct tools in her toolbox to manage that loss um and make it through she reverted back

46:24

to what she was doing at that time and she ended up going um getting into a

46:29

little trouble and pointed that to society um when she uh served her debt to

46:35

society and got out she was notified about where her children was were

46:41

and she came to them um but while she was not around for for those two

46:47

years um miss uh miss miss pinkerton leslie pinkerton um

46:54

had in some fashion i don't know monica um i never asked because i can't

47:00

ask monica how her mom met darian because that's hearsay so all

47:05

i know is that she took the boys she took alex and darion in for the length of the whole school year

47:14

yeah that's what it says here and um when monica returns he says okay here's the house and gave her

47:21

the house with the kids said yeah it left her to it just a rental

47:27

house so it's yeah but she then she then went monica took control of all these children

47:34

and monica didn't know who'd been coming and going all this time for all we know brown might have been

47:39

coming in and out all that time right he sort of had free reign to that

47:46

house not just he broke in and took the child it's much more complicated than that isn't it

47:53

correct um now uh he was not living there during the time of the abduction

48:00

he was uh effectively you know spending a majority of his time at his parents house

48:06

um so it's it's you know it was a battle for for monica to stay aligned with

48:13

what she had to do to keep her family safe but also not tread on leslie's toes who

48:20

essentially um you know heard things on the lease determination so you

48:25

know if if if monica didn't adhere to what leslie wanted there'd be hell to pay

48:32

so monica did the best she could but what she had then you say that maybe fair absolutely

48:40

absolutely i mean the the children didn't look uh emaciated or bruised no they don't know you don't see

48:45

pictures of them yeah no no smiling um and and you know real a real kind of

48:54

unknown about this is that um those boys spent enough time with

49:01

uh trevor and and and uh monica away from their own mother that when

49:06

they were shown pictures of her they they didn't um visually recognize her climbing

49:13

the main point i get here is that leslie pilkerton allowed brown in and out of that home for a long

49:18

period of time correct correct so so it is highest

49:26

brown yeah

49:32

did he actually live there for a period of time it's what i'm trying to get to fran yeah for the length of a school

49:40

year him and his him him and his brother alex both lived there alex

49:45

now him and him he's got a mother and a father and a police officer he's

49:50

living at this house where monica's not there but

49:55

leslie is we don't know what went on during that time do we we don't know where this came from

50:02

well i mean it's say no and it's it's very safe to say uh we you

50:08

know i'm the father to two teenage girls and i and i've had teenage boys as well um

50:16

teenagers always want um they they want to be where there's the path of least resistance so

50:22

what that uses equating to real world is teenagers will be where there's the

50:28

least amount of rules exactly yeah isn't it i'm going to stay with my mate he's

50:33

his mum's better than you mum you are a [ __ ] i hate you i'm going to stay at fred's house he's my mum's lovely to me

50:38

like that and then yeah so he got used to being right but that's not people's perception

50:45

people's perception of brands he broke in that night baby my perception is he could come and go as

50:50

he wanted um not not once monica took over the

50:57

home no no she felt uneasy with him did she um she felt she creeped out by him

51:03

right correct correct correct so so just imagine those

51:09

previous months when he was living there with these boys correct

51:16

there were a couple of instances where monica's children um after monica had taken um you know

51:22

the helm of the house um you know they were they were in that process of trying to keep

51:28

brown away um there were reports that um some of monica's children would wake up

51:35

in the morning to get ready for school and darien would be in the room

51:41

oh my lord see this is a long process this is like this is one in being in

51:47

that room that night wasn't the first rodeo was it let's face it it was not

51:54

it was not i know monica fought tooth and nail a.d to try to keep that away from her but

52:01

they're just she was fighting a losing battle um you know there was a lot of dynamics and unfortunately when

52:09

when someone else has control over where you live and your you know access to your

52:14

financial situations um you know you're you're tied to adhering to that

52:20

you know so who who's back in this brand then in your opinion to be able to live

52:25

there and go and be there and

52:32

miss pinkerton okay okay that's the point that is the point

52:41

so there's a lot of people that feel really bad about this in that family and at the moment i should imagine because

52:47

they're talking about a dead child in four months four years absolutely um

52:53

absolutely and really the really dynamic part about it is um when you follow the peter

53:01

um bread crumb trail on on social media um you're not you know

53:06

maybe now um that that you know i became very frustrated with the fact that

53:13

was popping up all over social media saying different things about monica that that are private and

53:19

uh pardon that are private and i became very annoyed and i thought you know this is

53:24

here um she's not telling the truth about how darian knows about that house

53:30

she's running around she's doing this and she's she's in my opinion um she's making it

53:36

harder on her daughter she's going around feeding information in the live chats of channels that

53:43

are providing misinformation to tens of thousands of people um and so uh you know i i did kind of

53:51

make an executive decision to say hey listen um you know also there are

53:56

there's a lot of things monica has told me um that she said don't say anything about that

54:02

and um some of it is i've said things about and some of them are not pertinent to this case in any

54:07

way um they're the things that you would say in general conversation when you're

54:12

um you know creating a rapport with someone so um you know we may talk about living in duncanville and and having a commonality

54:20

um that necessarily has nothing to do with this so um you know it's it's it is a very

54:26

dynamic situation um you know they're the leslie um has

54:32

and and kurt as well have been um have been involved in spreading a lot of different things on

54:37

online whether they're true or not that's not for me to decipher but what i do know is she's not told

54:44

anyone um that she in fact was the one that's responsible for bringing him there

54:51

okay now trevor made an emotional statement which i heard what's your thoughts on trevor and his

54:56

statement um you know trevor got into some trouble

55:05

up here and um and what happened was is

55:10

monica is facing um a possession of of a controlled

55:15

substance here in dallas county um and that's uh by by monica's account um that is for

55:23

a time where they were stopped in the traffic stop and uh monica ended up taking um

55:30

possession charge for for trevor um and he got in subsequent trouble

55:37

himself and was ordered to rehab a rehab facility here um in this county and he absconded

55:45

but the way that he left um was like uh you know hey monica um i'm gonna go back to houston where

55:52

you know i can get myself together and then um i'll come back for the boys or i'll come back or

55:58

or whatever the case is um he just said hey i'm gonna go to the store i'll be right back and he just left

56:06

never came back so at the moment he's on the run is that the situation with him

56:12

he's on the run right now uh you know that was that was that was

56:17

the status before all of this situation um transpired um he has i guess he came on the news i

56:24

don't you know he is a victim as well but uh he's a a a strange kind of victim

56:30

and sense that he was uh a contributing victim if that's such a thing um he was

56:36

negligent in a way that that led to his boys being left in an environment

56:41

that clearly was was no good um but he made a statement and and if you know my deduction is that

56:48

this is such a a bad situation that um you know they're probably going to let him

56:54

get through this this burial service and all of that and then um here in texas you are here you come

57:01

on vacation and you leave on probation so he's going to have to answer to those charges here

57:06

they're not going to let him go because you know he he made a bad decision and something happened to his son any news

57:13

on when there will be a burial a funeral for the poor boy or was it gonna be held off for a while um i was told that i i

57:21

thought that it was gonna be this weekend um but the last i heard about it was

57:28

that it was it was gonna be an upcoming win and that uh um trevor and monica were weren't uh

57:35

they weren't gonna be allowed to come so the police are finished with the body can you say that and they've given the

57:40

body back to the family

57:46

yes okay so i can say that they've given the body back i know that there is

57:53

there is a gofundme that was available in the very recent past um that

57:59

uh was from the bio family they were trying to um arrange and pay for the service to

58:06

bring back that's what i think there could have been some friction

58:12

between monica and brown and he could have some motivation to her you know he's being ousted from the

58:20

house where he liked to be by monica returning right

58:25

absolutely that could be part of the problem absolutely okay the other part of the

58:33

problem and this is um this is just what i i know from contextual details um you know mr brown

58:41

and his brother alex um they were both coming of age and they were experimenting with ecstasy um and

58:48

methamphetamines and street drugs um and and what i've

58:54

i've watched a few times but uh my open source community um they send me information and they say

59:00

you know what no one seems to know what the motivation is um now here in texas we have

59:08

a huge methamphetamine pandemic here i mean it's not pandemi it's an epidemic

59:16

it is epidemic proportions it doesn't matter if it's in the city in the country um it's everywhere and

59:22

with this with this new brand of of what they call mexico super mexican super meth

59:30

we started to get a lot of strange new offenders um and so if if if anyone out there

59:37

cares to watch the portion of of the the baby cam video where brown um

59:44

physically takes the child before that if you were to focus on his genitalia or his genital

59:51

area he does appear to be um in some state of arousal

59:57

oh no damn it we're going to do we're going to do another strong page when we go into you

1:00:03

know the proclivity yeah the the proclivity for um sexual

1:00:10

strange sexual are impulses direct side effect of methamphetamine

1:00:16

right that's kind of methamphetamine induced psychosis so there's been a huge rise in sexual

1:00:23

problems uh cases and problems around the area then

1:00:29

absolutely another thing that you got to remember yourself when they're trying to paint a narrative and i mean they as as the defense

1:00:37

when you try to paint a narrative of a mentally incompetent um it's hard to

1:00:43

make that fit when you've had when you have brown taken away for for uh psychiatric evaluations um

1:00:50

with no recourse he's released um you know no no further treatment necessary um you

1:00:56

know you you have these things that that disprove the fact that that he had a mental um deficit or

1:01:03

disorder of some sort um we don't have any reports of of brown

1:01:08

doing any of this i call it shopping um brown didn't shop for the kids in his

1:01:14

neighborhood um he shopped for little kids in monica's neighborhood so he tells you that he knew that that

1:01:20

behavior not right um yeah

1:01:26

with rental um clothing

1:01:33

into um first

1:01:51

west wing the west end um brown is being housed in the north end the

1:01:56

northern end um so he's not in the second unit at all

1:02:02

so we look we lost a lot you just repeat that benny we lost that oh totally lost the connection

1:02:09

right where's bubbles is in your hands to get him back on so benny he seems to be the center of

1:02:16

this i mean like i've saw a lot of people in chat and there was a lot of aggression show to

1:02:22

benny i don't know why i don't know what's going on there i i don't know i'm i'm only here to interview benny on

1:02:30

what i know not what people think of him or don't think of him

1:02:35

so that's my that's my job uh we've lost the power there somewhere benny

1:02:43

hello hi sorry we lost you for a minute

1:02:50

yes sir right just go through that again you said he's being held at one end of the prison but we didn't catch all that

1:02:56

what was that about the psychiatric session and what was that about you okay okay um the west

1:03:03

the west uh tower was the original jail um that was built in that complex which

1:03:10

is called loose steric um they they since um have built three subsequent wings the north south

1:03:16

um and east the west was um it was renovated when they were

1:03:23

building the other towers to uh be for the mental patients and and the criminally um unmanageable

1:03:30

so it's a different scenario it's not an open pod two-story um the rest of the jails

1:03:38

are uh you know in varying degrees of of um uh i guess you say you got super max

1:03:45

being kind of the west tower and then um less uh less maximum security units on the

1:03:53

others um the south tower being one of the loosest um it's it's still holds felony um

1:04:00

offenders but it's wide open just bunk beds um two-story um the psychiatric unit you're one one

1:04:07

man sells in an eight-man unit

1:04:14

now where's ashley's well in this uh by your dad's sister is she doing anything on this case

1:04:21

um you know i i couldn't comment on that um i i don't know i've been so um absorbed in in

1:04:28

you know the mission that i've been appointed to that that i'm not even really familiar with the tree that far um the branches of the

1:04:36

tree that far out um i'm aware of who they are but um not about their contribution

1:04:42

of course we you understand that we're going to go into patron we'll take a break shortly you can have a burger beer um but

1:04:50

patron as it's only members you better speak a lot more um you know openly there so we said that

1:04:57

all along with this um we're gonna do it because we have to understand these drugs and that we want

1:05:03

to go into that and what we can do about it as a you know as p as people and parents you know absolutely it's a scary

1:05:10

situation not just for cash but what can we learn from cash you know

1:05:16

well what we can learn is is that these street drugs um you know they have phenomenal power

1:05:21

over the youth um you know these youth their brains are not even fully developed and so to to try to get

1:05:29

young minds to adhere um to adult in societal expectations when they're

1:05:35

when they're tampering with very very powerful harmful chemicals it's it's almost a no-win

1:05:41

situation these days uh what i encourage um all families to do pay attention to

1:05:48

your kids if they're acting weird um ua them give them a urine analysis

1:05:54

um and then deal with it appropriately not only that but if if you live

1:05:59

um in a neighborhood or a community where there's strange narcotic activity um be a mandated reporter and report

1:06:06

that to the police accordingly you're gonna save kids all down the line

1:06:11

if we could have busted the house where where brown was getting his drugs at well then we

1:06:16

may have we may have had a different ending um and all here what

1:06:22

you're a good man i can see you're coming from a good place thank you sir i can see that you can see that and i

1:06:28

wish you the best and i can see you're going to help community that's going to be i think that's your aim in life isn't it

1:06:34

you want to do things for children i can see it i'm going to die trying

1:07:15

that advice a.d best of luck for the future for those that aren't joining us on patreon

1:07:21

we're going to take a um a short break for 20 minutes and we'll see you in patreon at 11 55

1:07:27

anything you want to say before you go benny any anything at all

1:07:32

um you know um i was told by bubbles to just go ahead and say it so

1:07:38

um my set my sentiments are exactly that of law enforcement here in

1:07:43

texas if you're on this side of the bars you're good with me if you're on the other side of the bars

1:07:49

and you had something to do with cash vernon i i want to apply to put the needle in

1:07:56

your arm myself okay i have a proponent of the death penalty and here in texas when you

1:08:01

defend against little kids and you butcher them in the street we put the needle in your arm god

1:08:06

willing let him sort it out i'm i'm with you on that i i know i'm in my minority on the death

1:08:13

penalty but i i agree with you on that i think it's a i think i honestly people say it's not the terror i think it is

1:08:19

i really do absolutely but um we'll see we'll see what you have the death penalty still in dallas right

1:08:26

oh boy we just we just did one about two and a half weeks ago um we sent him

1:08:32

home and uh down here when we send him home we celebrate right well and also right they're always

1:08:38

on about uh da's doing plea deals to save money for the state how much does it save the state to

1:08:45

uh you know have the death penalty millions on each prisoner right over somewhere in prison for 50 years

1:08:52

absolutely as well you know the average the average stay is you know 10 to 20 years

1:08:57

um before you know you go through all your reviews and burn up your appeals and and then you you know your million

1:09:03

automatics millions yeah it's millions you're you're searching for clemency at that point um and it becomes a public issue

1:09:11

um and it you know goes to to tens of millions on some of these cases a.d

1:09:18

yeah so all the way around that money could go to something useful you know that's what i think but that's just me

1:09:24

i'm in education education you can go into the education prevention's far better than

1:09:31

cure where it's too late yeah they say a pound of prevention is worth or an ounce of prevention is

1:09:38

worth a pound of cure yeah i like it yeah well i think we've

1:09:44

made friends tonight and uh we're going to carry those on a patron where we go to the more sensitive side of the cave and uh

1:09:52

you're a good man all the best we'll see you shortly thank you cheers uh yeah he's gone and to all uh

1:09:59

benny's fans and members in chat you're welcome nice to see you there

1:10:04

i understand there's the other side of it but i don't know the other side of it i just see a child has been murdered by a guy that

1:10:11

shouldn't have been there you know and we're looking at ways to save other children if we can

1:10:18

if you want to ever chat to benny yourself we want to ask you a question direct that's what we're doing we do a question

1:10:25

and answer in patron at 11 55 he's there on the spot and he's an

1:10:32

advocate he's and he doesn't need qualifications to be an advocate he's going to advocate for children and see what he can do to

1:10:39

help that area so it's about 20 minutes

1:10:44

i need a coffee after that and um

1:10:50

rest in peace cash yeah so sad

1:10:58

whatever side you're on and whatever view you have remember the child thank you
