facts:
Gary Simpson, at one time for over a year, was appointed legal guardian of Carly with his wife. Her parents had other obligations to the state (jail or drugs habbits), He had picked her up from school many times, also took her to school as well. His wife seemed to believe he had picked her up just like his usual self, and he would return with her.
There were rumors that Gary S took Carly out of town to protect her from "others"
Gary S had never been in trouble with the law, not even a traffic ticket.
Gary S. was a full time care taker for his own adult/ disabled son (wheel chair)
The reward fund was put up by Carly's pediatrician, he examined her after she came home, he was conveniently out of town when she got home, so the exam was conducted later on (10 days- I think??) . But initially it was reported she was unharmed and doing great!!
Said pediatrician seemed to know an awful lot about the brave recovery of Carly and the fearless take down of a little old man who weighs about 120 lbs
Same pediatrician later was convicted of Child S<A , caught a plea deal, on that and served 18 months inside, 10 years probation. A slew of other crimes got swept under the rug.
The kicker.
Carly did not have to testify against Gary S. he was given an Alford plea. The reason was stated that it was not good to traumatize Carly by making her testify, any statements by her were sealed tightly.
Carly's pediatrician got a plea deal, because the 2 boys, whose mother's filed complaints for, were being shown mercy not to have to testify, because it would retraumatize them. In spite of the fact that they were not the only ones who came forward, and in spite of the fact that 2 other young men, not minors or juveniles, came forward to testify, they were deemed unreliable because they had somehow turned out to be criminals!!
she did not insert herself into the case, it happened right under her nose, it engulfed her...big difference.

Donald Sherfey has inserted himself into the case of Summer Wells, stating that he is the Boyfriend of the Daughter of a lady down the road from the Well's property. This daughter is allegedly named Christie, one of 3 daughters of Mary Goad/ Sexton. Mary Sexton is Donald Wells' step aunt/ his step father's sister.
Donald Sherfey has a son named Donald Jr. he is waiting trial or indictment or ..some legal red tape, as a free man, who was caught in possession of, upwards of 1000 images of child pornography, images which he was UP-loading to the internet from his IP address. This happened between April 2021 and May 20 of 2021. His formal charges at present are 4 counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor.

BULLS GAP — A sex offender with two previous convictions involving teenage girls was accused of aggravated sexual battery of a 2-year-old after his mother reported finding photos on his cell phone.
Corey Aulburn Cinnamon, 27, of Bulls Gap, was arraigned Monday in Hawkins County Sessions Court on charges including aggravated sexual battery, sexual exploitation of a minor, sex offender violation for failure to register a new address, sex offender violation for residing with a minor, and sex offender violation fifth offense.
Cinnamon was ordered held in the Hawkins County Jail without bond pending his next court appearance Aug. 18.
Blountville man arrested, allegedly admitted possessing child porn
Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office Detective John Pruitt stated in his report that the suspect’s mother filed a report at the sheriff’s office on May 17 stating she’d observed some “revealing photos” on Cinnamon’s phone that were taken on May 8.
Cinnamon had recently moved into a residence where girls ages 4 and 2 reside, Pruitt said.
Pruitt said the photos showed Cinnamon pulling aside the 2-year-old’s diaper and touching her. Pruitt reported that eight photos were discovered on Cinnamon’s phone, some of which were shot at 1 a.m. that day and some that were shot two hours later.
Cinnamon admitted to touching the child and taking the photos, Pruitt said.
Cinnamon reportedly told Pruitt the first photos were taken after he’d had a shower, and the second group of photos was taken “because the first photos were too dark and didn’t show enough details.”
Cinnamon became a convicted sex offender in 2013 after he pleaded guilty to solicitation of a minor. Police said Cinnamon, who was 19 at the time, had texted a 13-year-old girl about “hanging out,” “taking a shower” together, and having sex at his parents’ house.
In 2014, Cinnamon, 20 at the time, pleaded guilty to a sex offender violation after he was accused of spending the night with his 16-year-old girlfriend.
The girl told the HCSO that Cinnamon had spent the night at her home on multiple occasions. As a convicted sex offender ,Cinnamon is prohibited from knowingly residing with minor unless that minor is his own child.

Arrest came after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reported child pornography being uploaded to the Internet from a residence in Sullivan County.
BLOUNTVILLE —Donald Wayne Sherfey Jr., 28, is charged with four counts of aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, according to information released Thursday afternoon by the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office.
According to a press release:
• The sheriff's office received tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding child pornography being uploaded to the Internet from a residence in Sullivan County.
• Detectives began an investigation into the tips and determined that the IP address of the suspect came back to a residence in Blountville.
• Investigators were provided with the username of the Snapchat and Instagram accounts that the suspect was using to transmit the pornography. The suspect’s date of birth that was used on the accounts was also provided.
• A search warrant was obtained for the residence, located at 2408 Muddy Creek Rd. and executed Thursday morning.
• Investigators spoke to a resident, Donald Wayne Sherfey Jr., and he admitted to possessing and distributing the pornography.
• Sherfey Jr. was arrested, charged, and as of 2:30 p.m remained jailed pending arraignment. He was out on Bail by May 21, 2021. Awaiting whatever he gets, which will most likely not be enough!! There is never enough!
Donald Sherfey Junior is currently a free man, not yet listed as a registered sex offender, and his father is under the impression his son "made a mistake". Junior is not just a sick perverted man, he is a busy little business man. Make no mistake, no one takes a risk like that for fun, so "ya can share with yer buddies online" as a friendly gesture?? And where and how do you obtain 1000 + images to upload to the internet? Is that 1000 children? is it 100 children x 10? or 10 x 100? ... His father says he knows where his boy was, when Summer went missing, but he also claims that he, himself was out of town, in MD on a truck haul, but he was not!
PAPA's a truckin' man. And he's ex Law Enforcement, Not really but he likes to play one on the youtubes, he was a local jailer for a few months back in 2008, he has connections, he knows things, leave his son alone. This is turning into another Evelyn (Boswell) he says.
Senior claims that he has been "cleared" by LE but they have not even questioned his son.

I've found very substantial, circumstantial evidence that he was not on a haul to MD on June 15th. He had gone to the hospital in Johnson City TN on June 14th, according to his Facebook post, "for more tests, appointments, and shots".
This would have very likely been a post op follow up visit, around the 6 weeks mark after surgery, which he had on May 4th for kidney stones.
Before going back to his job as a trucker, he would have needed to have medical clearance, from his own physician (w/completed paperwork),
and from a DOT assigned physician/physical examination (w/completed paperwork).
To me it sounds like a process that might take more than 1/2 a day to get back in the driver's seat on June 15th (?) to make sure you have an alibi, or get your delivery to Maryland on time.
Kidney stones is one of the conditions that will definitely keep a driver off the job. *******

he went in, was all prepped, and then it was postponed,
as soon as they saw him and said he needed a stress test because the ansthesiologist was not good with putting him under, so they scheduled a stress test for his heart.
April 22 2021 to Nuclear Medicine, to get pictures of his heart to prep for the stress test the next day,
April 23 stress test to be cleared for surgery
Surgery was scheduled for May 4
July 12 2021, he went for another surgical consult for multiple hernias.

there is rumor that Mary Sexton has been mad a her Brother, William Joseph Goad (Don Wells' step father/ passed 2007) because he left the land at 110 Ben Hill Rd to his last wife Karen Hazel Everts Goad (Don Wells' biological mother/ passed 2011) and she in turn left the land to Donald Wells. I don't think I'm buying that part about William's sister being upset about not getting the inheritance of 110 Ben Hill knowing full well, her brother William had 2 wives (not at the same time) and 3 children of his own, and another 3 step children. Why sister, do you need what I have built for my children? and my children's children?
I could believe, that there is more possibility, that one of William's daughters would make a swipe at claiming the land or be butt hurt that it didn't fall into her lap. Or as I've seen with some families, maybe the sisters were hoping it would be left, to divide among them, after a sale of the estate. But Donald was having kids and needed a good start and some dirt to call his own.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – The body of a young girl found on property belonging to Evelyn Boswell's family is that of the missing toddler, authorities confirmed Wednesday.
Evelyn's body, dressed in the "exact clothing" she was described as wearing when reported missing, was discovered last week on the Boswell family's property in the East Tennessee town of Blountville, according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
"We have a sad update to pass along in our ongoing search for answers in the death of 15-month-old Evelyn Boswell," the TBI said in a statement Wednesday. "Remains found on Friday evening have been confirmed to be those of the little girl."
As of Wednesday evening, no one had been charged in Evelyn's death.
The discovery of Evelyn's body brought a grim end to a convoluted, 17-day-long search that began when the child's family reported her missing months after she was last seen. The investigation grew to span three states, spur an Amber Alert and draw in the FBI as Evelyn's relatives told conflicting, changing stories to police.
Judge seals Evelyn Boswell autopsy report
Authorities have not specified when or how Evelyn died. An autopsy was performed at William L. Jenkins Forensic Center in Johnson City.
Sullivan County Criminal Court Judge Jim Goodwin agreed this week to seal the autopsy report, which is normally a public record in Tennessee. The move will keep secret the cause and nature of Evelyn's death until authorities decide to release the information.
"I thought it was necessary because of the publicity the case has engendered and because it's still under investigation," Sullivan County District Attorney General Barry Staubus, who pushed for the development, told Knox News on Wednesday. "I thought it would maintain the integrity of the investigation."
A court order sealing the autopsy records was filed in the case against Evelyn's mother, 18-year-old Megan "Maggie" Boswell, and sent to the forensic center......
After a search that drew more than 750 tips, Evelyn's remains were found last Friday in an out-building on a property on Muddy Creek Road in Blountville where Megan Boswell's father, brother and grandmother live, according to court documents.
People who visited the area to pay their respects to Evelyn placed stuffed animals, flowers, balloons and handwritten notes beneath a tree.
"You're home now," one note read. "Fly high."
Evelyn Boswell’s body was found on a family member’s property in March of 2020, about two weeks after an AMBER Alert was issued for her disappearance.
